Motel 6 Anaheim Hills

We did not stay here. We choose this hotel for the pool. When we went to check in they told us the pool was closed. so we went elsewhere.

The laundry facilities are closed. The continental breakfast area has been temporary closed apparently. I have not received any service from the property or the housekeepers. I had to clean urine off of the entire toilet in room 205 and when I entered that room, it was disgusting stuff all over the walls mattresses stained with what looks to be blood, and I had returned every piece of linen that I had had in that room and I had never received anything in return. I’m completely unhappy with this day here and the fact is, they are not willing to accommodate any of the amenities that they offer.. the whole entire property is disgusting. There’s dog poop everywhere. There’s cigarette butts everywhere. There’s rooms that are empty. There’s Windows missing screens and no ice machine works. No vending machine works and I basically have been using my own linens and towels and had to go buy toilet paper and everything to accommodate my stay which they should have already done

Motel 6 Anaheim Hills was very gross. The room was out dated. Patch up hole on the bathroom door. Bathroom was dirty. Grime and film. Clorox wiped everything: counters, table, light switches, remote control, door knobs, tub. The property is run down. Dog poop everywhere, landscape is all yellow and weeds growing through out. Pool has been closed since March 2025 as well as the hot tub which I was looking forward to use. Film was floating. Yuck! Gym closed. Chose this hotel bc it’s in Anaheim Hills and thought it would be good. Pictures are not accurate. Very gross/disappointing. Mid way through our stay we noticed shady people hanging around and prostitution. DONT RECOMMEND/ NOT RETURNING. Unfortunately, our apt is having water leak repairs and they are not done. Decided to not renew and went elsewhere much cleaner and nicer. Beware: Motel 6 and Studio 6 is the same property however they charge more for Studio 6.

Totally disgusting place very misrepresented. On this website do not stay here.The pool was out of order.The rooms are so outdated and they stink like cigarettes.

The staff was great, checl in and out super easy, plenty of parking

Things were broken (toilet seat wasn’t attached at all) and run down.

Not good. Staff lied and said the pool was open but there were locks on the gates. There were ants on the bed and sink. Holes in the couch, bed sheets and wall. Non smoking room smelt of smoke.

This place was filthy. Even when I changed to another room, I couldn't the walls, the carpet, headboard were just filthy. If I had other accommodations, I would have left but i was stuck there for an entire week. There was a fight downstairs, broken glass and there was a guy who i think lives there in one of the rooms who is camped outside his room drinking beer everyday. Not only him but his friends too. I felt unsafe with people watching my coming and going. There was no room service. I had to ask for things a needed. This place is a mess. Pre covid it was ran by best western, i used this place many times with my children but now its a motel 6, its trash. The ice machines were broken and the pool was closed by the county for a health problem.

This property golden days are way behind, the whole building, carpeting, furniture need a big repairs, and the grass is dead and lot of patched of dirt all over.

This was the dirtiest and most unkempt room we have stayed in likely in our 42 years of marriage. Bed linens and bed spread were visibly soiled, floors were filthy with what looked like burn marks in them, the room STUNK to high heavens, walls were scratched and peeling, as were the headboards. There was no clue how to operate the climate control. Furniture was beat up and didn't work, and there was no clock in the room nor safety strips in the shower. Not enough of the pathetic towels that were offered, and the beds were not sheeted right. We could not get out of there fast enough this morning and if I thought it would do any good we would have demanded a refund but the fellow at the desk spoke poor English. I would recommend that, instead of staying in a Motel 6, sleep in your car. Cleaner.

Unhygienic. The bathroom smells like urine, bed sheets appear unlaundered. Found dirty clothing inside the room.

This hotel looks nothing like the photos! It was so dirty and gross.

It seemed okay The air conditioning did not work well. I had to call the front desk to go and clean the restroom.there was a black dirt ring around the toilet, hair all over the shower walls and at the base of the toilet. Rust stains on the toilet base. Very close toilet seat. Stains on the tub.

Do not let decent area and friendly staff fool you. This place is disgustingly dirty, walls are filthy and covered in patches, carpet had a hole all the way to base boards, toilet was dirty, had to be wiped before being used, shower was gross and towels were crunchy like air dried and unwashed properly and they had stains, wall falling apart between toilet and shower, bedding and pillows were stained, lamp shades were stained, sticky looking residue on night stand, office chair grossly stained, I did not even open fridge or microwave out of fear, the cherry on top was finding a pair of underwear on top of the closet area that were not mine. This was a late at night booking, thank god I had my own blankets to put over bedding, I did not unpack and slept in clothes for a few hours and quickly left wen I was able to get back on road, at this point I feel cleaner stopping at a gas station to wash up. I truly hope a family especially reads this before booking as it is in a 20 min distance from Disney.

Room was dirty. Dirty towel on sink, dirty towel in refrigerator, toilet was dirty, hair on floor, hair in bed, carpet is filthy, floor was sticky, bedding skirt was ripped and tattered. Very sketchy place, felt very uncomfortable.

I wish I could put into words how terrible this place was. The walkways smelled like urine and everything was absolutely disgusting. Stains in every corner of the room. Mold and bugs in bathroom. Damaged furniture, red sticky liquid was splattered all over the room. The floor was sticky. DO NOT stay here.

I think the one star should just go to the friendliness of the staff cause that was the only positive thing about this place. The rooms are in dire need of a renovation and cleaning and so is the property itself. I've traveled plenty of times and stayed in numerous hotels/motels and this is by far thee worse experience by far. The photos on Expedia are NOT current at all. I question if the reviews on there are legitimate or if they belong to the people who live here. Yes, there's people that live on this property. The property is littered with cigarette butts and used q-tips. There was pieces of a used diaper near the pool area. The room itself. Oh my god where do I start. I wish I was able to go through this entire room before accepting it. Yes, the lady at the front desk took me to the room to check it out but it was rushed and it was not until you're in the room and actually doing a thorough inspection that all the filth starts to be known. The bed sheets are dirty. And they place a sheet on top of the bed spread to cover the filth of the fitted sheets. There was hair and stains in one of the beds also. The walls were smeared with what looked like feces, torn, and falling apart. There were stains on the lamp shade, bugs in the bathroom, and stains on the curtains. I couldn’t stay for my entire reservation it just too gross!

Needed a last minute room and this was the only hotel with an available room in Anaheim. In fact, we got the last room. In short, it was very dirty, not even a trash can in the room at all, non-working ice maker, bedsheets were covered with hair and old stains. Room smelled like pee. The shower had ants crawling around it. The room was supposed to be a king bed but was really a queen. I DON’T recommend this hotel.

Not as nice as the pictures look. Room didn’t look clean, and looked old. This place needs some upgrades. Water from sink had an odor. I’m glad I had bottled water to brush my teeth with. The price should’ve been cheaper for the condition the hotel was in.

Room was run down, phone was on a chair not nightstand, couldn’t get water to get hot and the beds were like rocks. The pillow I got looked like one that had lost its shape from being washed and it was super hard. The bed sheets had something red on them.

The WiFi and A/C worked. Check in was easy.

Very outdated, old loose toilet and non working sliding door

First let me start Nick at the front desk very very nice. First room had wasps big spiders, switched rooms terribly dirty except for the bed and the bathroom was clean. There were so many stains on the floors, walls, lamp shades and the desk chair (no desk) was broken almost fell out of it. The other chair had stains also. The outlets were either not fully screwed in or maybe it was water damage because they were sticking off the wall I was afraid to use them. There were random nails or screws sticking out of the wall. It had a very musty smell in the room. The peep hole was plugged with toilet paper. Only 2 pillows in the room. We were afraid to use the ice machine its so terribly dirty and looks like it hasn't been serviced in years. The hallways walking to the rooms are so dirty and stained carpets. We only stayed one night but honestly considered finding another hotel near by. There was also a lady who was at the front desk who wasn't rude or mean but had an irritated look on her face again Nick was so very nice and apologetic about the room and ensured they would check for pests

The property needs some work. Tiles are broken and the plants are dying. The rooms are old, and the furniture isn't very updated. There isn't a plug near the desk. In spite of this it was very comfortable and the staff at the front desk are very nice.

Whole complex was in very poor condition. It looked old and beat up. Bath room had hair everywhere and the towles were threadbare and small. Heating system did not work in the room.

Very convenient for us. The bed was nice and firm. And the air conditioning was great. On the other hand, there was no shampoo or blow dryer, vey skimpy towels, no cable on tv. This is a rundown,gloomy place.

Loud rambunctious neighbors and the room albeit clean had problems with thebsockets and lamps. The tv was auto set to turn off and the ac worked poorly. However, all other anemities such as water and fridge worked fine

Needed early check in was able to for a small fee. The bed was comfortable not expecting it to be that good. Friendly staff

GREAT SERVICE!

Staff double charged me even after they stated I paid online through Expedia. They said I needed to tap my card for confirmation, I told them I book there all the time and I've never had to before. The lady said that's the only way to get my room. Needless to say that's the last time I'll stay at that location. The property and rooms have gone down over the years

The property looked a bit ideal in terms of location but a female and male staff made me pay $85 even though it was $71 + tax on super.com app , I agreed to pay $85 so I can maintain my room only to see I was debited $97 , I showed them I was debited $97 on my phone but they argued they charged me $85 even with thier hotel name showing on the debited $97 ,I called my bank they said it was the motel that was responsible , and the hotel said no that they only charged me $85 and printed a receipt of $85 in summary the front desk is cocky and deceitful beware..

Sejal, the front desk manager was very welcoming. She ensured I had everything to make my stay comfortable.

I arrived at 7:20pm and there was no one in the lobby. I rang the bell, called, waited and no one showed up to check me into the hotel! There was another guest that showed up after my arrival and we both waited and we finally left. I was very upset and had to find another property to stay for the night in a pinch.

Area is nice

Overall this property is in a good geographic location- the overall room needs renovation though in that it lacks a cell charging area(loose outlets) Towels were (2) for two people- totally inadequate- the room was large but not proportioned well. They need to address the cleaning staff and vacuum more and dust off - carpets to bedspread needs cleaning- I see that some things like shower head had been replaced and the bathroom was clean- the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Overall I think they need to be more involved in property. The front desk (young man)was very good and friendly and in a late arrival (early 1am) it was less than 1min. seriously-👍For a short overnight stay they’re perfect and not overpriced- Overall 6.5/10 PS: Location is great👍

It was great The river bed is right behind there which walk-in trail. There is so many food places In-N-Out right across the street. It was wonderful.

The area around the motel is pretty nice and quiet. However, this Motel 6 is a neighborhood unto itself and it is a slum. As a smoker, I was glad they had smoking rooms. I spend my first night in a non-smoking room, then I was put into a smoking room. Well the non-smoking room had an ash tray in it, while the smoking room did. There was yelling in the parking lot between 2 or 3 individuals at 3 am, which left my dog acting "spooked" the next morning. The price is OK, the neighborhood is OK, but the motel, itself, has some undesirable street people living there short and long term. I don't know where they came from, but this Motel 6 is a "slum within a nice neighborhood..."

Do not book here! This place is creepy and very unsafe. I booked a stay here with 2 of my friends for a Disney trip and we were miserable . The staff was okay, it was 2 men and they had me wait for a while to check in and they were just talking until they finally assisted me. The location is 20 min from disney which was the only positive thing from this experience. The room was absolutely nasty. We had cold water in the shower and the microwave was broken. There was a hole in the bathroom and just has toilet paper to try to cover it. There was hair on the sheets. I will never come here again and we paid $150 a night. Total rip off

First of all It’s a MOTEl 6 so for the reviews that almost not made me stay. I’d say get over it. From the moment I arrived the staff was very kind and courteous checking me in and showing me the room beforehand to see if I was okay with it. I asked them if they could place me on ground level, with no hesitation accommodated us with lower level. The room was very dated but very clean & minimalistic. I was pleased with no carpet no one else’s grime. Flat screen TV, white linens, small pillows and bed but firm & comfortable, hand soap &TP provided. This room did not have a fridge so I asked for Ice bucket in which they graciously gave me 3 for my water. Surprisingly the hotel was very quiet and had various eating places in waking distance along with a CVS for incidentals & snacks. We bought our dog with us and Yorba regional park is about a half mile away, very convenient. We will be staying on another occasion.

Is convenient & food readily available. At 4pm room was still not cleaned. However, only two very scratchy bath towels, one tiny bar of soap, has fridge & microwave stuffed in a spot it shouldn't be. Coffee I lost my glasses & couldn’t find a number to call & ask. A friend found a number, thy said they'd check with housekeeping. Never called back.

The bed was not comfortable at all and the other studio 6s I’ve stayed at had a full refrigerator and half a kitchen this one had a microwave baby refrigerator no coffee no coffee pots
