We had an amazing stay at this apartment complex! The property is stunning, with lush green landscaping, tall palm trees, and vibrant tropical plants that create a truly serene atmosphere. Its beachfront location is unbeatable, offering direct access to a lovely sandy beach. The snorkeling was a pleasant surprise—not a coral reef, but we still spotted a variety of fish and even a sea turtle! Surfing is also an option here, with board rentals conveniently available on-site. While the boards aren’t top-notch, it’s still a fun way to try surfing. The apartment itself isn’t luxurious, but it’s of decent quality and perfectly comfortable for a relaxing getaway. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like free beach chairs and umbrellas, which made lounging by the water so convenient. For dining, there’s a restaurant nearby, but having a car is a must to fully explore and enjoy everything Kiahuna has to offer. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d happily return for another stay!

Couldn't have been more pleased. Our place was clean and really met our expectations. I travel quite a bit and it was great. The workout facility was better than you're gonna get at most any other resort and the location was perfect. The pool was not this properties strong suit, but at the end of the day, we were spending most of our time at the beach so it really didn't matter. I totally recommend this facility.

The property is old and this weared off a bit, but well maintained, the location and residence area is amazing. Poipu beach with turtles and seals laying on the beach are just steps away. Easy drive from any point of the island.

We loved Kiahuna Plantation resort with the low level condo accommodations and absolutely blown away with all the Hawaiian plants and flowers. So many varieties of Plumeria trees, Hibiscus, orchids and many others! The great location right off one of the most beautiful beaches, Poipu Beach, in Kauai was a huge bonus!!!

It has much deferred maintenance. Refrigerator floods so it is unusable, there is a wiring problem in the bathroom and one of the shower glass doors is missing. Also there was hair on the bathroom floor.

This was our third time staying there. It’s clean alright but it’s very old and needs renovation. We stayed there for our honeymoon thirty one years ago and today everything was the same but way older. There were so many mosquitoes in the bathroom that I couldn’t put my foot down without stepping on a whole bunch of them. Next time I go to Kauai, I will stay somewhere else.

room was not very clean. Rust on bathroom floor which will clean up. Floors and carpets dirty .Bubble on ceiling where water had leaked from upstairs unit. NO AC , they had to bring us a few stand up fans. Three outdoor umbrellas in-unit all were broken

We arrived in midnight for checking in and emailed the property for late arrival before arrival. A man was waiting for us and guided us for checking in and also led us our room.That is big help given the property is large and was very dark in the midnight. Appreciate the man; Otherwise, we might have been struggling for a while to find the right place. This property is well maintained and has large green open space that is wonderful! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Depending on APT location, we booked room with ocean view. Actually we could not see ocean but could see trees close to ocean. Thus please make sure you are going to get rooms ocean view when you are booking. We stayed two weeks. The property does not change any beddings and towels et al. There is a charge for delivery items to room. Bed and sofa are VERY VERY old and dirty! Also make noise and very very soft - Truly uncomfortable and ugly! Others are great.

We made reservations for 2 rooms and there were big differences between the two. One ended up having AC and the other didn't. One had kitchen supplies and the other was sparce. Some very large roaches were found in the rooms. The grounds and location was nice.

It’s really a garden hotel, lot’s of greenery everywhere. Many dining options nearby. Good location. We loved the ability to exchange beach towels for fresh ones when we needed. Hotel’s and nearby Poipu beach are good for snorkeling and surfing. On the other hand, the hotel is not perfectly quiet. Most of rooms don’t have an AC and you have to leave shutters open for ventilation. And you will hear everything happening around your building, day and night, especially roosters

Excellent location, but limited in unit conveniences. Not all units have AC or in unit washer/dryer. Staff is friendly but not really involved beyond check in/out. It's a family place so lots of active folks on the lovely grounds until bedtime. Well maintained exteriors/grounds so be prepared for hard working staff during your stay.

I had 2 one bdrm suites. One was nice clean well lit. The other old appliances, bathroom old musty dim toilet didn’t flush well, stained sofa, old furniture. Was relocated by Expedia n didn’t expect no AC. Both extremely hot. Will not Recommend.

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to request an air conditioned unit due to a medical issue and they found us one right away. Was a great central location, clean, quiet. Our only complaint was that the bed and sofa bed were not comfortable. But everything else was fantastic and all the staff were amazing.

To start, I’d recommend absolutely going for Ocean View. Quiet, peaceful. The beach is beautiful, the lawns and greenery are very well kept, the property is very, very nice. The condo was perfectly fine, a comfortable bed, fans kept me cool, kitchen nicely organized. Several BBQs available for grilling. Lack of a pool is a minus. But the trick that left a sour taste in my mouth, despite being in the beauty of Kaua’i, was this property’s unacceptable charge of a bogus “cleaning” fee: It’s a very large sum for basically nothing. This is sneaky, greedy and totally unnecessary. They hit you with it at check in, with no warning.Non-negotiable. It’s wrong, and not keeping with the Aloha spirit of Southshore Po’ipū. Buyer beware!

The workout facility was better than you're gonna get at most any other resort and the location was perfect. The pool was not this properties strong suit, but at the end of the day, we were spending most of our time at the beach so it really didn't matter. I totally recommend this facility.

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to request an air conditioned unit due to a medical issue and they found us one right away. Was a great central location, clean, quiet. Our only complaint was that the bed and sofa bed were not comfortable. But everything else was fantastic and all the staff were amazing.

We arrived in midnight for checking in and emailed the property for late arrival before arrival. A man was waiting for us and guided us for checking in and also led us our room.That is big help given the property is large and was very dark in the midnight. Appreciate the man; Otherwise, we might have been struggling for a while to find the right place. This property is well maintained and has large green open space that is wonderful! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Depending on APT location, we booked room with ocean view. Actually we could not see ocean but could see trees close to ocean. Thus please make sure you are going to get rooms ocean view when you are booking. We stayed two weeks. The property does not change any beddings and towels et al. There is a charge for delivery items to room. Bed and sofa are VERY VERY old and dirty! Also make noise and very very soft - Truly uncomfortable and ugly! Others are great.

Pro: property is beautiful. Our unit was a couple min walk to beach and shopping village. Unit was mid. It was just my wife and I but if you are looking for upgraded and modern this is not it. The property is old and this weared off a bit, but well maintained, the location and residence area is amazing. Poipu beach with turtles and seals laying on the beach are just steps away. Easy drive from any point of the island.

We loved Kiahuna Plantation resort with the low level condo accommodations and absolutely blown away with all the Hawaiian plants and flowers. So many varieties of Plumeria trees, Hibiscus, orchids and many others! The great location right off one of the most beautiful beaches, Poipu Beach, in Kauai was a huge bonus!!!

The beach was beautiful and easy to access! Loved the gym and pool across the street. So close to historic Kōloa and Kulakulu which had great little shops and yummy food . We would definitely stay here again!!

I have stayed here several other times. The location is great. The condos are nice. There was a policy change to only one towel per person, which is inconvenient because the place to get a new towel is open 8:30 am - 5 pm at one location in a large property, so you have to plan getting a towel into your schedule. The description was "ocean view" but since it was on the first floor, there wasn't much of an ocean view, so I was disappointed. Otherwise, the condo was in great condition, decorated nicely, and had chairs, snorkles, coolers, and boogie boards.
