Emerald Shores Hotel - Daytona Beach

We liked their yogurt and milk for breakfast. The staff was friendly. We didn't get a beach front room so wasn't expecting to see the beach. The room was clean except they left a box of condoms in the side table drawer.

Hotel was clean, no bugs, great rate when booking with Hotels.com (front desk rate substantially higher). Breakfast was not elaborate but was just enough (cereal, pastries, yogurt, coffee, juice). Would stay here again.

everything was wonderful

Room and view were great. This is our 2nd time staying here a year apart and the hot tub still is not heated. The only time it is warm is during the day when the sun hits it. We had hopes it would be fixed, but no. However you can't beat the location or view. Breakfast is lackluster, but not the reason we booked with them. Make sure to book with Hotels.com, as we tried to add another night directly with them and they charge quite a bit more if you book directly through the hotel. Also water pressure and hot showers aren't the best if you try to shower during peak times in the mornings.

Comfortable beds, overlooks ocean, wouldn't want to cook in the "kitchen" area, building needs to be updated, would stay there again.
