Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Southwest-La Vista

First floor had construction going on. We're not informed of before booking! Room was King suite, dirty towel left in bathroom, tub/shower cracked, light over sink not working and let's not forget the mattress was as hard as plywood!!

Easy to get to plenty of parking on site, some food options close to the property and many food options just a short drive away

The room was fine, not as clean as I had hoped. The floors in the room were pretty gross and turned the bottom of our feet black, we did not want to walk barefoot around the room at all. Beds were ok. Pool is not heated.

Easy check in. Parking was free and accessible. Room was good and had everything needed for a good nights sleep.

This was a great place to stop at on our way to Rapid City! Pool area was well maintained and clean and just what we needed to relax after a day of driving…room was clean, breakfast was great. No complaints with this property

We were extremely disappointed at the hot tub is no longer in existence. Otherwise you got five stars all the way across the board. Shame on you.

Room was just fine, elevators slow or sometimes wouldn’t work, and the pool was closed. Booked for a family trip for softball and half the reason we choose this hotel was the pool. No notice of the pool being closed prior to booking.

This is a friendly hotel. We were warmly greeted as we checked in. The fitness room is very good for a hotel fitness room. I would recommend this hotel with absolutely no hesitation.

The hotel is okay and appears to be getting new carpet. Room doors are really marked up and need painting. Breakfast was average. The little omelets were over cooked and brown but other than that it was an okay breakfast. House keeping did not clean my room until Thursday afternoon (Day 4 of my stay) Manager stated they have a 3 day cycle for room cleaning, which is absurd. My trash was over flowing and I had to ask for clean towels. The room was cleaned after I had a lobby confrontation with a manager. Very frustrating. I will not use this hotel when I return.

The first room when I checked in the carpet was wet and a big fan was in the room blowing on it. Went back down and told them and they said there were sorry and gave me another room. Second room I got into the floor had dirt all over it and one of the beds was not made and went I pulled the sheet back there was hair and dirt on the sheets. I went back down and canceled and ended up driving home.

Clean, easy check in, friendly service, and clean spacious room

We were there for 3 nights. No one ever cleaned our room. Garbage never got emptied, no new towels, no coffee replacement

Dirty floors, hair on pillows, and the fire alarm was taped up so it didn't work. We left to go stay somewhere else. Would not recommend.

Everything was good except for a whistling sound coming from the ceiling all night long. I believe it was the wind and the hvac system but it made it very difficult to sleep.

Our room wasn’t very clean and the heater/air unit was broken. The fridge made a banging noise all night. Very disappointing.

Spacious King suite, clean, quiet and comfortable

Was splitting up a cross country road trip so all we wanted was a clean room and a comfy bed. Well the room was clean, however the bed was one of the worst I've ever slept on. The pillows look puffy, however the slightest weight placed on them and they flatten to a sheet of paper. The mattress was lumpy as well. While some might prefer that, I would guess that nobody prefers their toilet seat cracked all the way thru. Had that been fine, I could probably have overlooked the chipped up tub, warm refrigerator, and holes in the shower curtain. If you are staying, avoid room 321

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha, Southwest La Vista Hotel for 2 nights. Check-in was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful. The carpet in the hallways and stairways was new. The room was spacious and comfortable. A desk divided the room and was orientated so that it could be used from any angle. The television was adjustable and could be viewed from anywhere in the room. The couch was comfortable for what it was. The room had a good view through two large windows. The window coverings completely blocked out the lights, but not the sound from the city and traffic. The bathroom was spacious, had good water pressure, refillable, mounted dispensers. The conditioner pump was broken, and the toilet seat didn’t fit. The water in the tank would run and disrupt my sleep, which was easy to do because the mattress was very hard, and kept me from falling into a deep sleep. It felt like sleeping on a pile of cardboard. The room was clean enough and slightly more than I would expect from a roadside dive. Lint all over the carpet, sloppily patched holes in the walls. The kitchenette was just a vanity with a small refrigerator. The bathroom sink drain was partially clogged. The coffee was decaf, two of the packages were previously opened. The wallpaper in the sleeping area was was actively peeling off. There was a large stain on the carpet, the remote looked like it was used as a d*ldo at some point and a permanent handprint was on the back. Room keys deactivated twice.

It was not bad, but not great either. The window to our room looked into a brick wall about 3 feet outside, so the view was entirely blocked. And the blind was broken so we could not get any natural light into our room for the entirety of our 3-night stay. While we were there, the cleaning crew didn't clean any part of the bathroom, including the toilet.

No clock in the room, refrigerator buzzed all night, could hear person in the next room snoring, poor noise insulation. We were put in a handicap accessible room- good if one is handicapped. We are not, were returning from 10 days of biking up and down mountain passes in Colorado. Not impressed with room.

Newly refurbished rooms with blackout curtains and modern amenities in the room. Huge TV. Wonderful shower and amazing breakfast offerings. Definitely will stay here again😊

Very clean! Front desk was helpful and prompt to help us when we needed more towels, etc.

Our AC/Heat unit on the wall was squealing for multiple hours. I called the front desk and the individual working said he hasn’t received any other complaints. It was 4am, he offered to change us rooms but we declined at my husband gets up at 5am. Emailed the LaVista guest services (Jenni is the manager I believe) email that he gave me and emailed twice with the video and our issue. No response so I sent an email the Hilton complaint email. She called me within 2 hours and argued with me about my experience and said she couldn’t help due to us booking thru Expedia. She continued to argue with me and acknowledged she didn’t look at her email that was given to me by the front desk person. Unpleasant experience with the manager Jeni. She didn’t even ask about what was wrong with the room. Just wanted to argue.

The hotel attemted to Bill us a second time even though we paid travelocity before arriving at our motel

We were checked in to the hotel in the evening. We then received 3 phone calls to our room and had a staff member knocking loudly on our door and entering the room at 10:30 PM to "check if anyone was in the room." In the morning, they said we were checked in but not assigned to a room. This same thing happened to another family staying at the hotel about a month earlier, except they were awoken to staff pounding on their door around midnight. On day of checkout (which is 11), housekeeping staff entered our room twice before 10 without knocking and we had not checked out yet. When we were bringing things to our car around 10:45, we came back to our room and the door was open. We will not be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and check in went smoothly. Access was not far from the Interstate and shopping areas were close by. Give it a try.

The property was very nice. Was disappointed with the price of the stay and not able to check in until after 5 due to rooms not being clean yet. Staff were amazing.

Overall, stay was pretty good. I just came for a one night stay with my family. Check in was quick and the gal working the front was super nice! Later that night, when I went to bed, someone decided to have a LOUD birthday party down the hall that lasted from about 9:30-12:00. The music was so loud at one point, my whole room was vibrating. Several doors were slamming constantly it seemed like and people were laughing and talking very loudly in the hall. I finally called down the front desk around 11, with no answer. I texted the front desk from my Hilton App and finally got a message around 1 AM saying they’d take care of the problem. Disappointed I spent a decent amount of money on my room only to not get to bed until around 1 AM.

We stayed here twice in one month for easy access to soccer tournaments. Each time, multiple team families had issues with either getting woken up by a phone call or them knocking on doors, because they didn’t know if the rooms were occupied. We had to wait 30 minutes at check in this time and my guy was friendly and apologetic, but they kept having to go to rooms while the lines were long to make sure rooms were clean… it was crazy. Also the last time the pool smelled terrible and by Sunday they closed it down for maintenance. The hallways were dirty with popcorn cookies the two days we were there. Our king size bed only came with three pillows and then one for the pull out couch and we couldn’t get more. One of the other staff members checking one of our other family members out had orange fingers that he kept licking and touching everything with. Not impressed and our teams won’t be staying again.

Amazing place to stay with a great continental breakfast. We went to a Storm Chasers baseball game it's only 5 minutes away from there. We try to stay here every time we come to Omaha and the surrounding area.

Excellent location and service .

We were driving through so only stayed one night. The bed was comfortable, water pressure and hot water were great. We thought the breakfast was really good, too.

I had booked a king bed through expdia and got a double queen. Not a real big deal but a let down. I didn't bother the staff with it. I'm sure they would have done whatever they could as they are normally great, but it was getting late and I just wanted to wind down and get some rest. Breakfast seemed a bit overcooked and cold. I'm used the the standard breakfast affair at most hotels, but the sausages kind of grossed me out this time around. I've enjoyed stays here in the past and will still possibly book in the future and give it another try.

Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Looked like it had been updated. Some of the hallway carpet is beginning to show wear. We were pleased with the hotel except for the breakfast. buffet food was cold. Not much choice. We finally ate every breakfast at a restaurant.

We did not have a good experience at this Hampton Inn. Door to our room was ajar, I flushed poop in the toilet, bed was somewhat disheveled, soap dispenser in the shower was missing. And, there was no coffee available the next morning-just a sign saying, “our coffee dispenser broke last night. No coffee. Sorry!” We normally love Hampton, but we had an awful experience here!

Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and staff was pleasant and accomodating.
