Hotel pool was green and had a slime texture to it. The shower was impossible to figure out, took an hour and 3 phone calls to the front desk to get someone to answer to tell us how to get the shower turned on, then we had to give up one of our 2 wash cloths (for a room that sleeps 4 why are you only putting in 2 towels and 2 wash rags?!) to cover the water that was spraying out from the head of the shower soaking the floor. When my kids went swimming-went in to ask front desk for extra towels and he only had 1 extra towel for the whole sold out hotel. The AC wasn’t properly working in the room which was probably a blessing since the blankets were so stiff and scratchy. Definitely not our best experience. But the guy at the desk was very nice and apologetic. They were not prepared to be so busy.

Quite honestly, I booked it online. Never been to this one before. Ran into some delays on my travels and got in after 10:30 PM. So when I pulled into the parking lot, there were a few undesirable persons wandering around. Honestly, I was intimidated about even checking in!? But I have been on the road for 6+ hours and I was tired so I decided to go ahead with my reservation, and very pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. I figured I would be in and out all day anyway, and not hanging around in the evening hours. I would probably stay here again. The one thing I will say is the breakfast was not very inviting. I went down at 8 AM on the first day and there was one piece of white bread left and it was a mess everywhere else. The coffee was horrible. So either make it in your room or order a mobile order for Starbucks or Dunkin, which is nearby. All in all…doable

We went into the room and left to buy cleaning supplies at Walmart to clean the room. We cleaned the bathroom, mopped the floors throughout the room, and sprayed everything with lysol disinfectant spray. The air conditioner and the refrigerator worked perfectly. The TV didn’t work correctly we went to the desk and he came to the room and said he’d have to call maintenance.(It didn’t work for our entire 3 day stay.) We did get fresh towels daily but they didn’t clean anything.(To be fair we cleaned it better than it had probably ever been cleaned upon our arrival.) After seeing the cleanliness of the room we opted to skip the breakfast although the lobby was clean smelling and gives the appearance of a nice hotel. We will never return to this place.

The biggest issue was the check-in. The receptionist checked us in and while doing that, he created a Wyndham account without asking us at all. This account was also created with my phone number and wrong email address, so even what he was trying to do was incorrectly done. More importantly, I already had a Wyndham account and when this unasked uncalled for thing was done, it messed up the system for my existing account. I was travelling the next week and I had to cancel all my future reservations since the account it was connected to was not recognized by the above mentioned screw-up. Fixing these issues itself is a reason alone to not book this hotel, however it doesn't end there. The room itself was essentially bare essentials i.e. one King bed, TV cabinet with TV, Fridge and Microwave. There was nothing else in the room, no chair, table, couch or anything else. The linen and bedding were super scratchy and made it an already bad stay worse. Next day, the breakfast options were very limited and felt stale. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences for a hotel stay.

Our first experience when we got there was that the door was locked. It was after 9 o’clock when we checked in, but we rang the bell and no one came and we called and no one answered until finally someone came to the door to let us in. We asked for a non-smoking room, but you could still smell smoke in the room and the room smelled kind of damp and musty. The rooms were in fair condition. We got three small little pillows on each bed. It’s just an older hotel that really needs to be updated.
