Good pool and fitness center. Breakfast was overall solid.

My husband and I stayed there for 3 days. Our favorite things were waking up every morning, he went to the hot tub, while I went to the fitness center. We would meet for breakfast every morning after we were finished, perfect! We loved the 24/7 hot coffee station, too!

Bugs in the pool area and dirty hot tub water

The hot tub was dirty. After we were in for a minute we noticed brown on the bubbles and nants in the corner. Both my daughter and I are now sick

Solid property - hot tub is more luke warm vs hot and the game room has issues with most games. Minor things but simple to fix and customers enjoy them while staying

Clean rooms

In general the hotel was really nice, good location,clean and the staff were friendly. The reason I’m giving it a 4 stars is that when we first entered the room and saw the bathroom, i couldn’t not notice that the toilet seat was discolored from urine, if that thing is not getting off from cleaning it should’ve been replaced. That was gross. Second, there was a hair on the toilet, too. We assumed it was there accidentally, as the toilet was pretty clean. Room service should be everyday, at least the trash should be out and the used towels replaced, this should be a must not something you ask for. (P.S. there was a note that the room service will pass by every 3rd day of our stay and if something is needed we could ask at the front desk) . The breakfast was basic, and we thought that it should be more organized, we needed to search for the plates and cutleries and the area was pretty small, it’s either you touch the person next to you or wait at every station which was kind of annoying. And using plastic cutlery and paper plates is really unimpressive. This is a hotel not a camping. I know that hotels are trying to save as much as they can, but some things cannot be unseen and the small details matter in my opinion. I do recommend this hotel, and i would stay again, I just think that the hotel management should be more attentive to the details and responsible. Thank you.

We arrived on the 1st day and noticed that sheets were not clean. There were smelly sheets and toenails were on the carpet. We called the next morning and requested for sheets to be changed and carpet to be vacuum. Sheets were changed but toenails were still there.

Conveniently located near the highway, lot of dining options. The room was not vacuumed properly, food crumbs were there on the floor

Room had a musty smell especially when the A/C turned on. A/C unit also made a terrible squealing sounds when it turned on. Woke me up several times. Pool area had a lot of little black flies flying around.

The sofa bed didn’t have pillows. Regular bed wasn't comfortable. It was fine but the high Hotels.com rating definitively didn’t match the experience.

The AC sounded like an engine. The in-room coffee maker has dried white residue in the small water tank (gross) but the coffeemaker in the breakfast area was great. There was an entire empty parking lot in front of the hotel that couldn’t be used which is ridiculous. Very nice desk staff.

The breakfast was fair, bed was comfortable. It was just loud, I could hear my neighbors coming and going and when they were watching tv loudly

Before i say what was wrong, i know everyone has their own needs when staying somewhere. Other people may love the soft beds here at Country inn, im not going to argue how soft they were. I couldnt sleep on the beds due to needing a firm matress.

First time in the grand rapids area. This hotel was to close everything. The free breakfast was also very good, good variety. Only minor complaint beds were a little soft and also the pillows.

I stayed at this hotel because I was taking a girls trip with a friend to check out the lantern festival at the John Ball Zoo. I thought the hotel itself was in a pretty good location, out of the chaos of downtown yet really close to all of the things we wanted to do. The employees were very kind when checking us in and the room was fantastic. It was big and I loved the fact that the sleeping quarters was closed off from the rest of the room. Super clean and no noise issues at all, even with a packed hotel due to a wedding.

The room was to be a 1 bedroom suite. It was just one room. Not my idea of the advertised site. If I return, I will not spend extra for a supposed suite.

Everything was great except the refrigerator started making a bad noise at 2:30 in the morning and kept me awake. I requested that the manager call me and she never did. Alot of money to get no sleep.

About 10 minutes from downtown. We attended a concert and took an Uber. Route can be quite busy at rush hour so keep that in mind. Much less expensive than downtown hotels. Great if you have a vehicle or planning just to go downtown for the day. If you’re making multiple trips you might want to consider something closer. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious and clean although somewhat dated. Beds were comfortable but really squeak with any movement. Fridge was noisy. Traffic noise is quite noticeable as it is right of the I96. Breakfast is included but mediocre at best.Great if you’re attending an event or going to be touring around and basically sleeping there. Nice little Grille/Taphoise right next door. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was great! They upgraded us for free to a king size and a queen size bed, instead of a double queen. First floor next to the back door, which was incredibly convenient with 2 small children. Pool was decent, breakfast was great, we even sent my brother and his daughter back to stay during their Grand Rapids trip because we loved it so much. Highly recommend, especially for the price! We will be back!

When I pulled up to the hotel I thought for sure I would have a great stay. The outside is beautiful, the lobby is beautiful. But then I got to my room and it was not so beautiful. There was blood on my curtains, there was stains on my sheets and my pillows smelled like they came out of a cigarette factory. I called down to the main desk and the guy at the front and told the guy that I wanted a new room and he told me that he could not accommodate me at this time and did not offer another solution. I ended up sleeping in my car. When I checked out I told the girl at the front counter and she said "oh my goodness I am so sorry. It looks like you paid online so there is nothing I can do." I will never go back and I will never recommend.

Clean & quiet. Great for a 2 night stay while working. Location is great, close to East Grand Rapids where I was training. Will definitely stay here again on next trip!

The staff were extraordinarily helpful, nice and the pace was great. Well done breakfast included. It was a little hard to see in the cluster of buildings, but found it. East GR is wonderful, upscale, and safe. This hotel was a good base to work from, easy freeway access & close to Meijer Sculpture Gardens and downtown area.

This hotel isn’t by anything convenient but if you have your own vehicle it isn’t far. We went to a concert and enjoyed the room.

It’s very close to downtown. Just a short drive. Staff were all very nice, breakfast was good and lots of variety Gravity restaurant near it Is excellent.

My wife and I usually have a pretty good stay at Country Inn & Suites because they consistently offer value for a hotel chain. It is very neat and the check in was easy. The breakfast was also pretty good. We mainly stopped here to visit the President Ford Musuem, which was very nice and close to the hotel, but I don't believe it was walking distance.

Clean, efficient hotel with easy access to everything we wanted in Grand Rapids. Location made the choice, since more expensive than hotels farther south, closer to the airport, but quite a bit less expensive than downtown.

Everything was good, friendly staff, efficient check in, clean rooms, great location, close to restaurants and shops and movie theaters, and the best breakfast buffet I have ever had, outside of an all-inclusive resort.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay! Breakfast options were amazing every morning, property was clean and staff was very nice. Nice location for easy travel around the city or elsewhere. Room was clean and very simple as far as amenties but we had everything we needed! Game room could use some repairs on couple of the games but what did work right, we definitely enjoyed. The pool area was nice but didn't get to enjoy it, nor the hot tub as both were constantly occupied with multiple groups when we would look to go in. We overall had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Grand Rapids!

This hotel is well worth the few extra dollars it costs. They have extensive breakfast choices to meet everyones needs. The pool and hottub was clean and warm. The arcade room is an added bonus. The room was large with great amenities. And the later checkout is great! Close to Meijer gardens and shopping. This will be the only hotel I will stay at in the future!

The property was super clean! There are complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea available all day; and great breakfast in the morning. Everywhere is nice, and the facility is pretty lowkey and quiet!

Almost everything was perfect. The only thing I would improve on is the breakfast food. There were a lot of good options but the flavor of the hot food was just ok. I would definitely still recommend it for a stay but plan on going out for breakfast.

Only complaint is that the breakfast plates, cutlery, etc. were disposable. So much garbage.
