Quality Inn Pittsburgh Airport

The airport shuttle was easy to find. All the staff were courteous. Our room was on the second floor and since you have no elevator, it was a little more difficult for my wife to transverse the stairs. However, if I had made a note of that per our reservation, perhaps they would’ve given us a Ground floor room. Our room was old and outdated. And it did smell old as well. It was fairly clean for an old room! The complementary breakfast was good.

I searched online for a place close to the airport. Your info stated there was a restaurant—one reason I chose this place. No where did it say the restaurant is closed on Sundays, and we checked in on Sunday! We were exhausted from traveling and hungry. Shuttle service was included; a good perk. Only to be told by the driver that he just drops people off at the very first entrance—which was very far from our airlines. We are in our seventies, I use a cane, and it was very hard for me to walk all that way. Thankfully, a worker from a different airlines took me i. Their wheelchair to where we needed to be.

There were no lights on the parking lot so it was very dark. Our room was not accessible from inside the lobby and was difficult to find walking on a dark parking lot. I chose this hotel due to the rate offered and that it was pet friendly. However, the upcharge for the pet was as much as the room rate. I did not find this very fair as it was not noted when I made the reservation. The room itself was not cared for and was in poor condition, not dirty just not updated. My little 20 pound dog was not going to cause damage that had not already happened to this room. There were cigaratte burns on the tub and counter, the sheets were stained, the carpet was not new and the furniture was outdated. All electrics behind the bed were hooked to one power strip that was hanging in mid air over the headboard.

We didn't notice until after we looked at our credit card statement that we were overcharged for parking. Then, our flight coming back from Atlanta was delayed, and their shuttle service doesn't run much past Midnight. We had to spend another 40 dollars on a cab back to the hotel. Will definitely never stay there again.

Hotel was OK. We requested and got a smoking room so it was run down. Stayed there because advertised bar and restaurant on site and laundry facilities. Bar/restaurant were not on site but a short 2 minute walk. Washer/dryer were out of service. Breakfast was just OK. No fruit other than juices.

Hotel is great for park and fly. Breakfast has good choices of hot and cold food.

Security was not as good as it should have been. Backdoor did not lock because the hotel was waiting for a part to fix it. However stairwell was well lit. Also gym had serious equipment but not in good repair.

Great place to stay if you want to leave your car for a few days.

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. I give them 5 stars. The property needs deferred maintenance. My room was not very clean & had a bad odor. The gym had broken equipment & very little ventilation.

So incredibly dirty. Would not stay there again. We’ve stayed there before and it want this bad. Highly suspect room was not cleaned at all. Not even vacuumed.

The receptionist was kind but the hotel had a musty smell from the minute you walked in. The bathroom was dirty, there was hair from the previous guests, the walls and sink area looked like they haven’t been properly cleaned in years. The tub was stained black from I proper cleaning. The towels had stains. The entire hotel needs a good clean. The carpets throughout the hallways looks like they rarely get vacuumed. Overall, very unclean and will not stay the again.

The motel is a bit old and has an ancient theme, which is charming, but it isn't as clean as expected.

The 2 good things about this property were the well scheduled (and early hour) shuttle service to the airport, and the cold breakfast available to guests before the regular hot breakfast was served at 6am. Complains: Very dirty room, stained chair cushions, stained bench cushion, dirty carpet/floor by door, shower rod/curtain were laying in the bathtub, dirt/debris all around the floorboards of room, staff mopped up puke from lobby and threw out the dirty water right outside front door.

It was Not clean the shower around was moldy,wallpaper peeling off, safe was scary dirty didn’t use didn’t shower :Was going to make waffle in morning till a guest blew on it was his mouth:never Again

The Room was clean, but very dated and dark. Parking was limited as it seems that it may be an airport parking lot as well. the Floorboards squeak and it makes for a noisy stay as other guests move through the hotel and rooms. If you're on a budget the room rate was affordable, and, in a pinch, it does the job for a short stay, however this would not be my first choice of hotels in the area.

Location was good. Rooms need updated. The ceiling had stains. Bedroom smelled like must/old smoke. Tv was not working. Stains in bathtub.

Not impressed. The property is very run down. Room was small, bed very hard and uncomfortable. The bathtub/shower did not drain. Blinds on the window did not keep out much light and there are no curtains to pull over them. Would NOT stay here again. On a good note, staff was friendly.

Close to freeway. Other then that not much of a plus for this hotel. Rooms very dated, busted lights in the restroom with no covers on them. Rust on all the finishes in restroom. Ceiling had some serious patch work, and discoloration on it.

Our stay was unforgettable check-in went smoothly with little wait, and we received our room. Not the room that I booked six months in advance, however the room that we got ended up getting picked for me. The toilet was broken. The refrigerator was broken. The microwave didn’t work and neither did the sink it was filthy on top of everything else and the adjoining door was not locked when we entered the room. Not to mention, I asked for a non-smoking room and was given an outside smoking room that smelled like cigarette, dog piss, and weed. We did not stay there long. My husband went back and we got a new room. They gave us a new room on the inside. It looked like we went to a whole new hotel. Things were working it still a bit rundown, but not like the first round at all however, the blinds are 3 inches too small on each side and it has a sheer see-through curtain. Which privacy is out the window what’s in the window is bright sunlight so if you wanna take a nap during the day, bring a mask because it’s bright in here. They do provide shampoo, conditioner, and lotion inside the shower. A microwave and a refrigerator and a one cup coffee maker. Laundry on site $2.00 per wash and $2.00 per dry. Plus a fitness center. The beds are very stiff. The first night we were here there were some loud drunk lost females in the hall, trying different doors, but it’s not like it’s every night because last night was much quieter thank goodness. Traffic noise was load from adjoining road. A couple was fighting and killing each other above us on Friday Night. Vending machines were broke. Room was clean and shower was good.

Friendly helpful staff, great hot breakfast, the lady assisting with the breakfast is great, she is very pleasant and helpful

Absolutely love the ladies at the front desk. They were very welcoming and accommodating... Its Quiet, in the perfect location. About 10 minutes from the airport and 20-30 minutes from downtown depending on traffic. Overall had a great time. Thank you ladies

Staff very nice and helpful. Very clean. No elevator. Have to climb two sets of stairs to second floor and carry all of your stuff.

Upon arrival, the receptionist was very rude and condescending. She wanted nothing to do with helping us. We drove 5 hours and called the day before to ask for an early check-in. It was noted on our reservation, but this lady at first said she saw nothing. All she had to do was call the maid service to have 1 room cleaned asap. She don’t want to do that. She told us to come back later. So we called Quality Inn customer service and they agreed that we should have been treated better. She even said that we’re in Pittsburgh and we’re tough here. Totally unnecessary, like she was proud to be giving us a hard time! Otherwise, the room was good. I’ve never encountered such horrendous hospitality at any hotel reception desk ever!

The night manager that checked us in on May 14 was awesome and friendly. The morning desk clerk was disengaged and nearly nonverbal.

The hotel is in a deplorable state. The halls are cluttered, the rooms have no sound barrier from hallway noise, they smelled dank and everything was sticky. Our room had no hot water in the shower and when we complained the first morning we were told it would be fixed. No one came and fixed it or even look at it. No communication from the front desk or an offer to move rooms. When we complained the next morning after check out, the front desk said that maintenance probably didn’t know how to fix it. So after a weekend of no showering her only additional comment was “that’s unfortunate for you” and handed me my receipt. Don’t stay here!!

The employees are super super nice. The breakfast is pretty good as well. I personally probably wouldn’t stay here again just because the rooms are a little to ran down. But for the price in a pinch it was fine. The area is safe and felt comfortable with cars being parked outside. The employees were extremely nice which helps the hotel out tremendously.

Great location with many restaurants and other amenities nearby. We ate at the abutting restaurant. They had awesome pizza and wings.

convenient to shopping and restaurants. easy access to highway. I know this is an older property, my daughters wedding was held there 31 years ago, the rooms do need a little updating especially the carpeting in our room. Other than that it was ok.

This is not in an easily accessible area and the surroundings were not inviting.

Convenient location between city and airport

I liked that it was safe. I felt comfortable with it being my daughter and I. Catching a taxi was a bit difficult but it came eventually took us to Robinson Mall. Getting back was another story, thank God for good Samaritans who dropped us back

Older but pretty clean, good place to rest your head with decent breakfast and good staff. Our check in night associate was great and so were the morning ladies. Thanks for a good stay.

Free breakfast...... juice and stale muffins. No hot options, though the web site led you to believe there were. No coffee in breakfast area. In lobby, with creamer that had gone bad.

This is an older property, but the Check-in staff was awesome.The room was cleaned even though it needed updates. Not a lot $ .so if looking for a one night sleep. Free ride to airport. This would work out just fine. Yummy breakfast! Is a plus.

the only complaint is the breakfast needs more options im not a sausage eater and that was the only breakfast meat served and the eggs were cold

Room was dirty, rust stains in the bathroom, only one small trash can for 4 people, computer system was down when we got there had to wait to get checked in; very outdated, wallpaper peeling off the walls even! Was told breakfast is 7-10, we went at 915 was told breakfast was over so had to spend even more $ for breakfast after a poor hotel stay. Will not be back.

Price is right for a basic airport overnight stay. Breakfast was good with hot meal like eggs and sausage. The reception and breakfast lady are accomodating. Will stay here again for a layover.

Appreciate breakfast as early as 3:30 am. Very rare to find. Cosmetic issues all over, both inside rooms and outside the bldg.
