The hotel is a little dated, but overall it was clean and comfortable enough. The girl at the check in desk, as well as the ladies that serve breakfast in the morning were very friendly. The pool area was awesome, with a giant cave and waterfall. Right on the beach.

I called and asked if the poo was heated before booking and front desk said yes, but it was not Lori told me rudely not til November. Didn’t care at all I was told via the phone it was and I was lied to, my balcony door is broken, the property is run down elevators barely work, tiles are missing a real fish was on the pool ground, bugs in pool dirty and gross live wires on a pool nail lying on the ground so so dirty doors broken and chipping away. So very disappointing

We checked in late and the lady at the counter was short & somewhat dismissive. She was overwhelmed with guests calling in requests. Long line for breakfast if you aren’t early. The pool & hot tub were great! The access to the beach was excellent. The room was a good size.

Our ocean view was amazing. The pool area was well kept and the poolside bar was reasonable. They have all kinds of activities for kids and ours loved interacting with the pirates. The rooms have been updated pretty well.

Very nice staff from day 1 to day 5! Helpful when needed as well. LOVE the pirate crew & activities, The mermaid & pirate crew were amazing & very considerate of the children. Our room was kept tidy and clean every day with fresh linens. Grounds were kept cleaned daily. Only 2 issues we had were the ice machine on our floor didn’t work -no biggie! When we got to our room a roach ran out of the ac vent- killed it and moved on. Started noticing them more when we leaving and packing they were running away behind the fridge/ entertainment area. Hoping we didn’t bring home any hitchhikers!

Needs landscaping bad. Balcony door wouldn’t lock. Main door had to be slammed. No safe. Roaches. Broken toilet seat. Staff was really nice. Great for the price. Small things could be fixed easily.

This property needs a complete overhaul renovation. The outside pool area was ok. However the room I was in was filthy the sheets were dirty I was bitten by a bug when I sat down on the bed. The bathroom was not clean toilet was dirty. I would not recommend at all.

Location was perfect and the view was beautiful. We were there for Thunder Beach..we are local but wanted to stay close. The room was clean but infested with roaches. I found roaches in the bathroom and crawling around the tv console. The big refrigerator was a nice touch though. The pool are was great. We didn’t eat breakfast there but the area to eat was small.

The hotel is in a great location on the beach and the pool, hot tub, and outdoor area are nice. Staff was friendly and helpful enough. They serve free breakfast every morning, but we never ate it - here's why: When we checked in and got to our room it looked clean, even though the furniture and decor had definitely seen better days and could use an update - but that wasn't a deal-breaker. The beds were comfortable enough. The deal-breaker came when we started finding small roaches in the room - multiple. We killed 3-4 in the floor, and one that was crawling down the mirror one morning. My husband also killed one in the hallway downstairs on the main floor. We promptly went and got a spray bottle of Ortho Max pesticide from WM and sprayed the entire perimeter of our room, which did help but we still killed a couple more during the rest of our stay. Because of the roach problem, we didn't feel comfortable eating the breakfast or food from the restaurant. When we got home we took all of our luggage, dirty laundry, etc. outside and shook it out to try and make sure we didn't bring any unwanted visitors home with us. If not for the roaches, it would be a decent place to stay - but we won't be going back.

Sept 2024…. The good: location, right on the beach. It’s very convenient. Beach view from the room. Staff was helpful. Beds were comfortable. The beach was nice. The bad: the room floor was very dirty, we observed a few cockroaches in the room, TV screen was damaged, air conditioning was noisy, the whole room / hotel needs to be upgraded. Find parking place in the hotel could be a challenge. The neighborhood seems not to be very attractive to take your family out for a nice walk at night. Close to $500 for two nights by the way. We will look for a different option next time. We just did not feel the value for our money was there.

The outside of the hotel is definitely looking a little dated, and the pool area was smaller than expected, but you absolutely cannot beat the beach and the views and every room has a balcony. The beds were only doubles, but they were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast options were plentiful, the parking was easy the staff was Super friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower or pretty tiny that separate from the sink and mirror. There was an almost full-size refrigerator and microwave in the room which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view, friendly staff, clean room. Would have given 5 star rating but the balcony door knob was almost falling off. Fortunately we had some tools with us and tightened it up ourselves. The air conditioner compressor made a loud grating sound when it came on which disrupted sleep. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

Staff is great, rooms ok. Need to clean the fans in the bathroom hard. If we knew we would have checked in sunday and left on friday. It is very loud with the club music and we were on the 5th floor on The other side of the music. I'm cool to party and have some fun but it was ear splitting from noon until 9pm, then all the drunks left the pool and yelled and hollered up and down the halls slamming doors. One and done trip for us.

We had a corner room on the 4th floor. It was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The view was great. We walked down to the beach and passed the pool area, but we didn't go in the pool. It was setup really neat.

First, the staff & cleaning staff were great. The hotel itself is outdated, room was warm due to poor insulation around the doors, allowing hot air to blow in. The A/C stayed at 60 degree's, but there's no way the room ever got to 76 or 77 during day. The only thing that made it comfortable at night is that we took an oscillating fan that was literally in my face. Sorry, Expedia asked for review and this is how me & the wife felt. GOOD LUCK.

The free breakfast buffet was surprisingly better than most hotels in this price range. Donna and Leslie at the breakfast buffet were very courteous. We had a moisture condensation issue in the room after our first night, but a young black lady with what seemed to be an Island accent did a remarkable job cleaning up the problem. She provided excellent housekeeping service the first two days. Ashley provided excellent housekeeping for the remainder of our stay. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. There was ample parking. All of the rooms are gulf front. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is an outstanding choice in this price range. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Excellent beachfront location with nearby restaurants and shopping.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. The hotel itself wasn't my favorite part. The staff was. Ronda was the amazing female who checked us in. We were early and she gave us a choice to check into a room they had available or wait on another one and she would give us our wristbands and call us when it was ready. That is what we chose to do and we had an amazing room. Thank you so much Ronda! Now let me tell you about the security there. My husband got a little tipsy and lost his wallet. We had no idea. Last I knew it was in the safe and I guess he was too tipsy to remember. Their security got it and kept it for us and then called us the next day to come get it. They waited all morning for us to remember. I wasn't so tipsy that I didn't know I had lost my shoes so I had already been in their office asking about my shoes. But no word about his wallet because we never knew until they called me! Thank you Hunter and Dwayne! Security rocks here. You will be safe. Security is everywhere and someone is always watching the cameras thankfully, but not judging. They are NOT judgy. And that brings us to several other employees who helped us and made our stay amazing. Thank you Ronda, Hunter, Dwayne, Pablo, Matt, Mandy, Dawna, Brian, and Leslie! You guys made our stay amazing and we booked again for October already!

We’ve stayed at this property 3 times in the past. It’s gone down hill and the staff is what made it so bad. They were rude, condescending and lazy.

Our stay at the Days Inn was just what we needed! We were greeted and well taken care of by Mary at the Front Desk. She even answered the phone right away when we called from our room with a little issue and offered to switch our rooms. We declined because it really wasn't that big of a deal. Leroy from Maintenance was at our door with in minutes to with the solution to our problem and told us to call him if we needed any more assistance and he would be by in a jiffy to fix anything! I also want to point out Malinda went above and beyond and ran a personal errand for me. She did not have to do that but she took customer service to the next level. While this may be a 2-star hotel, the one thing this hotel does not lack, is the customer service and personal touch each and every employee brought to the experience.

Much better than anticipated. Location was great and easy to walk to several shops and restaurants. Room had a great size fridge, plenty of towels and even a BROOM for the win. Balcony had a great view and spacious. Winnie at the front desk was so nice at check in and check out. Our kids loved the pool with waterfall and the pirate/mermaid meet and greet. Our daughter LOVED meeting Pearl and Ember and talked a lot it the rest of the day. Scuttlebutts pool bar was great! The night time movie at the pool was a prefect nightcap to a full day of beach. Beach access was easy. Breakfast in the morning was a big hit for us and an easy added bonus. Will be back! Highly recommend for families.

My room was fine, clean, and had towels etc. My only complaint was the breakfast. While I understand there was a sign pertaining to food allergies and cross-contamination, staff should still try their very best not to cross-contaminate. One morning, I watched as they brought out more waffles. The server put all the older waffles into the egg bites tray so that the fresh ones could be put in the spot, then he put the last three back. This made it impossible for me to eat as I couldn't trust anything on the line. It was okay, I went out, but the lack of awareness is disheartening. It's 2025, and while I understand you can't guarantee all CC, there should at least be an attempt made. It didn't ruin my stay, I just believe a reminder to be as careful as possible is in order. The signs are there and appreciated for those with severe reactions, but for those of us with mild reactions, it means we can't eat as well.

I loved this property and being on the beach. The bad part about this was the free breakfast. You literally had to wait in line for an hour. It’s not buffet style the “cafe” served you. I didn’t like the set up. We also ate there for lunch and it was not good at all. We ate there once and would not pay to eat there again. Other than that the staff was nice except one older person who seemed to be annoyed and didn’t want to leave her seat to help me.
