The name should have been a give away but when i paid up to stay here instead of the Hilton, I had much higher expectations. If all you care about is being right on the beach at a cheaper price, this is the place for you. The restaurant/bar is open 3 nights a week. The internet is slow. Everything is slowly decaying in front of you, to include the elevator that doesn't work. Lastly, when they say check in is at 4, they mean it. Unlike most hotels i have stayed in across the world, check in is not at 1 or 2. But if you want to get in your room before 4, you can pay $33! I think next time, i will pay less to stay at a nice place and walk the 7 or 8 blocks to the beach.

The front desk clerk was nice and efficient. She had a packed lobby and tried to get us in and out as quick as possible. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are clean. The pool area was great!

Beach location (powdery soft sand & beautiful gulf), great friendly staff, nice pool, outdoor showers to rinse off sand, outdoor jacuzzi, fitness room, parking on site, & clean, spacious rooms. Amazing sunsets. Incredible views from beach side rooms. Some rooms have kitchen sink areas, full fridges & separate balconies. This one did not. Restaurant on site but not sure of the days/hours it’s open now in late August? No idea of the menu or if take out is available. The hotel property is in an area with houses & it’s a bit of a drive to the strip with many restaurants, shops, & other local activities like the pier, waterpark, mini golf, etc. Great location for those who do not want to be in a busy area. The only elevators need cleaning & updating. There were some luggage carts available near them.

The hotel was in a nice quiet area. The beach was great, not that many people. The restaurant and bar was very small and limited. We had a great stay. It is not by all the attractions in PCB. The only complaint we had was there was no ice machines and we had to go buy ice at a store if we wanted it. The office had small bags, enough for a couple of drinks but not too actually keep anything cold.

Dirty, limited lighting, parking was a nightmare - not adequate for the number of guests so we wound up having to park across the street and walk, shower didn't drain properly so you wind up standing in water above your ankles while you shower, the stench of weed will give you a contact high, elevator doors do not work properly/sometimes need to be pushed closed with your hands in order for the elevator to work. All of this and they want top dollar for your stay as if it is a 5-star resort.

The outdoor premises were adequately maintained and very nice. Pool and hot tub were closed for repairs. Commode in our room ran constantly and needs repair. Coffee pot quit working our last day. Very friendly staff. I would stay again

Lots of positives. Away from the chaos of downtown PCB. Quiet beach. Nice area. Down sides are older hotel. The door for our room had to be forced open. Bad patch jobs on ceiling and walls. Pool was closed most of the trip. When open hot tub was cold. Worst bar food I’ve ever had at the bar on site. However, the bartender was super nice. Walking out to the beach was great.

We hadn’t stayed here in about 10 years and it has went down. The decor is older which is okay, but the room was not clean. We had to go to store and get cleaning supplies to clean bathroom. The property has 2 elevators, one was not working the whole visit, the second worked at times. I had knee replacement and using the steps most of the trip was rough. I would not recommend staying there. Beach area was beautiful.

The room was disguating. One bed smelled So strong of urine it could Not be used. The sheets has not been changed as they weee filthy. The cabinets had old food left In them. There was a dead bug smashed on the wall and left. The hotel gave no options to fixing the problem. Absolutely disgusting.

I usually do not write or comment on my travel experiences, but I got to put the word out for this one. The rooms were dirty with old rusted refrigerator. The bed sheets was dirty with stain marks, paper thin bath towels, very small standup shower (3'x3') where the shower curtain keep touching your body when you are taking a shower. The rooms had a funky "drug" smell upon arrival. This place is run down with two old outdated elevators and only one was barely working when we were there. There were unpicked trash all over hallway. The ocean view balcony is shared with other rooms and dirty with rusted handrails. This place is poorly maintained and run down, it's not worth the price you are paying; take your money and business elsewhere.

We went for a quick weekend trip. We got there really late and was worried about how the parking would be but there was still plenty available and we quickly got a spot. The check in process was super easy and all of the staff was very friendly. We easily got a spot on the beach it was not over crowded. The room was clean & it was a quiet hotel. All of the other guests we encountererd were super friendly. We would stay here again.

Overall we had a really good stay. Pros: This place has the coldest air conditioning in any hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I’m a hot sleeper, and I woke up shivering. To some that may be a con but to me it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was great. They were all super nice. They even let us get our parking pass hours before our check-in time., and let us use our parking pass hours after we checked out of our room so we could enjoy the beach longer. Since it’s not by all the big stores and hotels the beach area was pretty quiet. We never had to ‘fight’ for beach space. There was plenty of room to spread out. I don’t really have many cons other than the building/rooms themselves are a little worn. They could use some updating. The concrete on our balcony was coming up/cracking in some places, the outside cover for the air conditioner was falling off, but nothing that would make me want to leave. I found 1 hair in the bath tub when we checked in, but I could tell it had been cleaned so I would assume it fell off of the housekeeper. Also not a big deal, I used some toilet paper to remove it. Was it fancy? No. Was it a great place to stay over all? Yes. Would definitely recommend if you don’t care about fantasy, and want a quiet beach area to go to.

Pros : liked that it had a seperate room and a gorgeous view from the balcony also the bed was comfy and I like that the refrigerator operated perfect and the convience of the beach being so close by Cons: I found hair that wasn’t ours in the place. The parking is terrible had to use a spotter just to back out. And really the main thing was the shower it is a small standup shower with no light to see the bathroom had a light but there was a wall blocking it so it was hard to see taking a shower and the water pressure was more like non existent

The only thing I will point out is the old carpet on the floors and our headboard was very obviously water damaged. But the place was relatively clean and the staff came by once a day to tidy up the room. The views are so worth it.

The beach here was absolutely beautiful! In an area that wasn't very busy in April. Not near any other busy hotels so not crowded at all this time of year. There's a nice area to lay on lounge chair and look over the beach and ocean. Only about 30 minutes from Panama City airport. The bed was comfortable and clean. Huge fridge w/ freezer in room. Rooms could use some updating, but ok. We had a 2 room suite with balcony, beautiful ocean view. Plenty of space.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Beachside and always look forward to our yearly visit to PCB. The room was very clean when we arrived and the staff is always there if I had any issues or concerns. I will definitely be staying at Beachside again!

Location was great as far as the beach goes. That was the only good thing. When we made our original booking we had booked a room with a kitchen. We arrived, and were placed in a room with no kitchen only a microwave. Our room also had no access to wifi other than the bar wifi, which we were denied access to. There was also no cellphone reception in our hotel room at all, and our TV did not work. We also had to go to the front office and wait 15mins just to get some toilet paper, and room service only came to our room once our entire stay, which was right after I had to go get toilet paper from them I will also add. When I asked to talk to a manager about moving rooms or coming up with a resolution I was only told the word would be passed along, and I was only offered $100 back. Our entire stay was $1000, and we never enjoyed our stay in the room because of such poor quality and poor management. If you’re looking to book here for a family vacation, please be aware and make sure you get what you paid for, or avoid booking here at all. I would take my money elsewhere.

Check in was terrible! We arrived around 2 and was told it wouldnt be available until 4, which was fine. At 4, we was told it still wasnt ready and we would recieve a phone call. Checked back at 4:30, told the same. At 5:15, checked again and finally got a room, yet she told us she didnt have time to call. So why tells us to wait for a call.

Arrive at the hotel to check in. I checked into the property and went to my room … they gave me a key and room to an occupied room. The lady slammed the door in my face. If she had a gun I would’ve been shot. I went downstairs to give them info about what happened and they just had to say … they didn’t know and just got on shift and it didn’t display a person checked into that particular room. Just an fyi !!!! Be careful here because they seem to be negligent !!!

Had a great time. In a great location. Down the beach from most of the "touristy" part of PCB so not too crowded. Staff was very nice. The room had small coffee pod maker. Didnt work right. Room was spacious. Shower was tiny. Plenty of room for our party of 3. There is a great little diner across the street for breakfast!

Staff was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze.The location is ON THE BEACH!!!!! It’s an older property and shows its age… but the bed sheets were clean, the shower water was hot, the place was quiet. Great value for the price. Would 100% recommend this place.

The elevator smelled like fish. The bartender Sarah was great. The pretty beach and convenience to it was good. There were no towels for pool or beach. There were some really nice helpfull staff. Expect a bare bones beach experience. We got upgraded to beachfront which was nice.

The Bar Grill is a BLATANT RIP OFF..They had NO FOOD BUT PIZZA LADY INFORMED ME. I said ok its 8 pm i better get pizza nothing in walking distance to eat there. So i said 2 naan bread pepparoni pizzas. THERE IS NO MENU ON SITE She Charged me $38 for 2 flat bread pizzas and 2 cups sprite. Bartender lady from Iowa said do you want a soda $1 extra. I said sure. Got to room looked up the menu online pizza is $9.99....SHE CHARGED ME $38..
