We stay at HIBR every year but had to miss last year due to health and we were pleasantly surprised to see our happy place was as amazing as ever. From the lazy river to the bar and entertainment, the pools, beach and beyond this is the place to be We started this year off thinking we would explore another beach and on Day one we knew we had made a mistake so loaded up and drove 4 hrs to the best place we know. We had an amazing week and no regrets!

Another great stay at Holiday Inn Resort PCB. Beautiful resort, very kid friendly with lots of activities, clean pools, security on site, clean beach, clean shower area, kept room clean all week despite our children dragging in sand every day. Highly recommend.

Loved being right on the beach and the hotel having chairs with an umbrella to rent each day; beach sand was super soft and great to walk on; beautiful blue/green waters with some waves at times, hotel offered golf cart ride to parked vehicle. Only negative feedback was certain parts of the property showed its age, specifically the elevators.

Pros: Several options for kids under around age 10. Nothing quite for the pre-teens other than perhaps family bingo. The poolside movie is a nice touch. Cons: website photos are not an accurate depiction on the current hotel condition. The bathrooms, floors, walls, elevators, room floors are not kept clean. Our room floor had not been mopped. The rooms have balconies which is nice, although be aware at this time of year with the humidity the rooms smell very musty and feel sticky. Air conditioning units, not central air. It’s definitely a place where you need to be okay feeling sticky/beachy during your stay. Which is okay as long as you know what you’re getting into. The food was overpriced for the quality. Both my kids ordered the “lobster grilled cheese”, and because it was dark and I could barely read the menu in the low lighting of the outside dining tables, I didn’t notice the price. $40 for a sandwich that had about 2oz of lobster in it. The cheese was not melted either. Although It did have a lovely portion of avocado. When ten year olds order a $40 sandwich the server probably should have said “ma’am this isn’t probably what he’s thinking it is. Anyways it was decent. Lobster was overcooked and my kids did not enjoy it. It also had a soggy fried green tomato which is an acquired taste for sure. Management was nice, the rest of the staff we encountered were not pleasant. Also, Late check-out needs to be requested very early in the morning. Longer review on Google.

We had a great time during our stay. Evening entertainment was a surprise bonus along with the spa and lazy river pool. We were able to stay close to the resort and get some much needed relaxation time with each other. Staff were extremely nice and kept the resort very clean. The only negative thing I can really comment on is the ice maker was out on our floor, but our room fridge made ice to make up for it.

HOUSE KEEPING IS TERRIBLE. I STAYED FOR 7 DAYS AND I ONLY GOT MY ROOM CLEANED TWICE! I KEPT HAVING TO CALL THE FRONT DESK AND KEPT HAVING TO GO UP THERE WITH MYSELF IN PERSON TO GET ANYTHING RESOLVED. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Hotel is beautiful and we always enjoy staying there. My only issue with this visit is the room was never refreshed our entire stay, I finally had to call the front desk to ask for towels, even stating we were leaving for the morning if they could refresh the room. The only thing done were towels changed and trash emptied, the floor was still covered with sand

I didn't like waking up to a cockroach in my room and when I told the front desk they just blew it off. I have a picture of it and it wasn't a small one. The breakfast was very expensive and The resort fee was expensive and wasn't disclosed when I booked the room. Wasn't expecting an additional charge of $144.

This was our second stay at this resort. We had a great time with lots of things to do in the area. Hotel room is pretty large and had full size fridge. Beds were comfortable and bathroom and large. Only detraction was air conditioner was a bit noisy.

Was very clean! You could tell the room was needing some updates. Fridge was dented up and didn’t quite fit in the opening, baseboards scuffed and scratched and wall dings. But the pool area was great and location to beach was amazing. Lots to do onsite

A great hotel with lots of amenities. My only complaint is that the TVs are old and don't have apps that smart TVs have like Netflix etc. We also couldn't stream from our phone. Normally this would be ok but it stormed the whole time we were there and having access to something besides regular tv channels would have been nice. The shower was amazing! Most hotels have "rain" showers and I never feel clean. This shower was high pressure and it was great. Although I don't have little kids, the hotel had so many things for the kids. They showed movies on a big screen by the pool with speakers so everyone could watch from their rooms.

Every staff member I encountered was nice and pleasant to work with from front desk to housekeeping. The rooms were spacious and clean. My only issue with room was the doors slammed hard when closed, both the entry and balcony doors. The water was very hot when we showered. The beach was only a few steps from the hotel. My only issue is someone charged beach chairs to my room when we never used any. The clerk at the front desk did a little research and determined I was telling the truth and removed the charged. I would stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights with my wife and 3 year old son. The resort itself was great. Had a little of everything. What we didn’t like was the service and the employees at the hotel. They were serious, barely any smiles, when you ask for something it feels like you are bothering them. From bfast server to the girls who was in charge of arts and crafts. The evening waiters at chips was the nicest. We were disappointed.

Overall the property was a beautiful resort. Great pools, loved the lazy river, delicious food and drinks at pool bar. It was very easy to get to the beach and lots of showers to wash the sand off your feet when you get back to the resort. Only things that were slightly below expectations was that our room was not fully restocked when we checked in (lotion, hand soap, etc). Also we asked staff about possible late check out (for the next day) when we checked in. Was told to call the next morning to ask. I called around 645am from our room to ask about late check out and was told to “call back around 9am”. Presumably he didn’t know and wanted to pass it on to the day shift workers. Walked down to front desk around 740am and asked someone at the front and was met with an immediate “no, the entire resort is fully booked and there’s no possibility”. I understood there was a possibility that it wasn’t possible but was slightly annoyed that we kept getting the runaround from multiple people instead of a straight answer at the start. We were paying for a massage and would’ve loved to been able to use a shower to wash off - however there wasn’t any public “getting ready” rooms or showers once you checked out of your room. But otherwise overall a good experience.

When I got to the hotel… And I have stayed here several times… The gentleman behind the counter, treated me with a condescending attitude and ignored my request to be on a higher floor, then proceeded to stick me as far from the elevator as he possibly could and told me that I couldn’t get a better room because I didn’t pay anymore. I will never stay at this hotel again more importantly I’ll never stay with Holiday Inn again there were no people in the parking lot no cars the hotel was near empty and the difference in the cost of my room and those on upper floors was only $10-$20. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this was ridiculous and I felt necessary to let others know.

The staff was so nice and accommodating. At the poolside bar we had Rose and Isadora as our bartenders all week. They were excellent! So friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience there wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here!

I stayed for 4 nights just before Memorial Day weekend. I really enjoyed my stay. The food was good albeit a bit pricey, nothing unusual for a resort though. There were several live shows and performances as well as a large pool and 2 smaller pools for kids. Rooms were well appointed and bed was comfortable. Great location with beach access and 2 restaurants and a convenience store on the property. There is a strip mall directly across the street with a Waffle House, a Mexican restaurant, subway sandwich shop, a dive bar, seafood restaurant, ice cream parlor, bowling alley, arcade and skating rink as well as an Enterprise car rental and a place to rent Spider motor vehicles and golf carts.

When you add breakfast online they charge extra $45 a person for my 11 year old per day yet it was only $72 online for 2 days for 2 people. No where did I see they specify it’s only for 2 people. They had molded fruit on the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is okay the scrambled eggs are terrible taste like rubber doesn’t taste like egg at all. Definitely not worth $45 a day. Hotel is very old and small. Kids waterpark area was nasty and very old, run down and in need of maintenance. You’re better off staying at the other holiday inn.

The beach is amazing. Beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear waters. Cleaning staff and check in staff not very friendly. They are not going to clean the rooms or even make your beds unless you request it ahead of time. Cost of food is ridiculous. $42 dollars for a buffet breakfast. This is not Omni or the Ritz Carlton. Much better price optiona outside the hotel. $60 for a beach chair thats after paying an additional resort fee which is mandatory. Parking free but if you take the golf cart back to the hotel you tip the driver. Easy walk from the parking lot so not necessary. They did not have enough towels for the pool for the labor day weekend and we waited for hours. You also cannot take towels to the beach. Lastly I had to pay for regular coffee 4 dollars a cup.

Our room was very clean and we were brought fresh towels everyday. Staff was friendly. Food on site was expensive- wish there were was a cheaper food option on site.. maybe a grill with hot dogs and sandwhiches for a lunch option that’s reasonably priced.. we did do the pizza one day and that wasn’t too bad.. just got home last night and the kids are already asking when we can go back.

The room was clean, smelled fresh and the AC is amazing. Great for kids and high energy adults. The music is LOUD though, and almost never stops. They host nightly entertainment like movies at the pool & fire shows. Super cool. All the meals/adult drinks are decent prices, except for the breakfast. $45 each for the buffet (There is a clean waffle house right across the street) The absolute one thing I will say that was completely unnecessary, were the leaf blowers at 640am on a Saturday morning. For kids & family time its great. It's definitely more carnival vibe vs adult spa vibes.
