We stayed 6 days with family at this 2-star hotel in Panama City Beach, and it far exceeded expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, and quiet—with a comfy bed, full-size fridge, Keurig, microwave, and small sink. The staff were incredibly friendly, even sending text check-ins during our stay. The breakfast buffet was better than many upscale hotels, and there was always coffee, water, and sweet tea available in the lobby. Located right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S., the hotel offers underground parking ($20/night), two outdoor pools (one a lazy river), one indoor pool, and a poolside bar/restaurant open until 10 PM. Kids loved the nightly outdoor movies and weekend live entertainment, including Hawaiian fire shows. It’s super kid-friendly, but also a peaceful retreat for retirees once families leave. Despite all the activity, our room was quiet. There’s a small store onsite, plus a convenience and liquor store across the street. Just note the $40 resort fee and $20 parking fee. Overall, we’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem with outstanding hospitality!

Staycation tradition We are locals and this is our favorite home away from home when we need a quick break The staff are friendly, there is a tiki hut and food on site. Live music free refreshments throughout the day keeps one happy and hydrated during summer months We first starting coming here when our son was two (I do not swim) and learning to run It was and still is a safe place for me to relax and still keep and eye on little man who’s is 8 now On site is a lazy river , 10 person hot tub, and wading pool, oceanfront, dive in movies, bonfires, Polynesian fire shows, full hot breakfast included in your stay We love it! We have celebrated reunions, anniversary, and birthdays here simply the best

This resort was a wonderful place for a family vacation! The hotel rooms were comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of items to choose from. The bar and grill outside was a wonderful addition so we could stay at the pool all day and eat outside. The lazy river was a hit with my family, and our grandchildren loved the Disney movies playing at night by the pool. The beach was just down the ramp from the pool and we were right there enjoying the ocean. Every staff member was so friendly, very helpful, and always had a smile on their face. I would highly recommend this vacation destination!💛☀️🙌

We were pleased to be updated to an ocean view suite upon arrival - it was very big for just the two of us. One of the best things about this hotel is it's location on the beach. The pool was nice and a good temperature, although the lazy river was a bit cooler. There was a lot of choice at breakfast but the temperature of the food was a bit cold. It was good to have a bar on site that also served food. Unfortunately the bar was around the pool with limited covering so not a good option when it rained on one of the days during our stay. There are not many bars and restaurants within walking distance but we did enjoy a couple of visits to the Salty Goat across the road which had live music.

Excellent hotel. The room was spacious with an ocean view, the bed was comfortable, the pool was very clean and heated, both indoors and outdoors. Except for the lazy river it was very cold, but we enjoyed it. The staff was very kind and friendly. Overall, it was a great family vacation.

Detailed Review Inside: Overall for the money this is a great option. The front desk staff and cleaning crew are top notch. I cannot imagine what it takes to keep clean with sand and wetness constantly. The rooms are also very good size. For me, the negatives were the pools - they are small and maybe 4ft deep so not much fun for adults. Chairs are limited. The pool bar has good food selections but is very overpriced. Very nice bartenders though. If you go to the beach behind the hotel plan to bring your own towels. They do not offer towels for the beach even if you pay for chairs. Parking is pretty tight and limited but also, we always seemed to find a spot. If this had a better pool, it would have made the vibe 10x better. This was our 2nd stay here in 3 years.

Our room was very dirty. We found bedbugs in our bed. Our room was cleaned twice and the floors were always wet. The walls and ceilings in the room were in terrible condition - the paint was peeling off. Someone was constantly pooped in the pool and the pool was closed for cleaning. The air conditioner was very noisy. The beach is very clean and beautiful. Very convenient exit from the hotel to the beach. There are a lot of parking spaces, the underground parking stinks very much, as there are garbage bins there!

We had a wonderful stay and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and updated this beach front hotel was. The kids loved the pool and lazy river. The breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and everyone was working hard everywhere you looked.

Room dirty upon arrival. Asked for cleaning several times. Only on our last day there did they come in and get our trash that was piling up and sweep part of the sand. Had to ask multiples times everyday for towels and track them down for things like toilet paper. Even after asking for solution, there was none. This was our second time staying in this location, but unfortunately after this I will not be going back.

We were very unimpressed with our daily room cleaning. The beds were never made, and floors were never cleaned. The only thing that was done was our towels were changed out and garbages taken out. Everything else about the facility was good.

The breakfast bar was super . Staff was friendly , but our room was not cleaned for two days and we had to go down and ask for towels and wash cloths. The floor got kinda sandy and no vacuum was used. We loved the view and access to pools and the beach.

Overall this hotel has amazing beach access. The bar/grill was also top notch. Easily the best food I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room set up was nice, it’s just that there were rust stains in some areas, and there was hair on the bedding upon arrival. In regards to the cleaning it was OKAY. But there is room for improvement as far as thoroughness. The staff was nice and accommodating though .

This place looked clean when we arrived but was so dirty my daughter walked around with no socks and her feet were black. The king bed was broken and there were roaches. I will never stay there again. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone and when I did they refused to give me a refund when me and my family had to pay for another hotel to stay at. Run away if your thinking of using them.

I stayed a couple of nights here with my mom, sister, and her son (5 years old). It was a wonderful experience! The view from our 7th floor suite was amazing! The Lazy River pool was a huge hit for my nephew. The property was clean, centrally located, plenty of parking, great big breakfast served every morning, and the two pillow top mattresses were incredibly comfortable! We also had a bunk bed, full refrigerator, absolutely gorgeous view of the Gulf! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint (and we had to have the only room with this issue), but the bathroom door was too big for the opening making it impossible to close all the way. Even, with this minor inconvenience- The view and the comfortable beds can not be beat in PCB!

Rooms were large and clean for the most part, shower needs a good scrubbing. Bathroom was nice and large, could use extra places to hang wet swim suits towels and clothes. Bunk area for kids was great! Good amount of counter space in smash kitchen area, large fridge. Breakfast was good, if you're staying for extended period same thing gets old but it is good. Staff not exceptionally nice, most pleasant staff were house keepers. No issues with any staff though. Parking easy/safe---BUT should not be an additional $20 per day, that's ridiculous!!! All of the fees on top of room charge is out of control. It was fine but we will try a new hotel our next visit. Appreciated free water, coffee, and tea in the lobby and water/tea poolside along with towels to use at pool area. Nice entertainment nightly. Food was good at the bar but pricey.

This hotel is RIGHT on the beach. Our room on the 8th floor overlooked the gorgeous gulf. Staff was fantastic, so kind and helpful. The amenities offered were great, live music every night we were there, the poolside bar offered great drink and food options. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, probably one of the best we've ever had. Coffee, cold water, and iced tea available all day and we were just steps from the sand. Room was really clean and perfect for what we needed, the balcony overlooking the water was the best place to drink our morning coffee. This place was not cheap, but you really do get what you pay for and we'd be so happy to book again in the future.

Room was really clean and perfect for what we needed, the balcony overlooking the water was the best place to drink our morning coffee. This place was not cheap, but you really do get what you pay for and we'd be so happy to book again in the future.

Amazing! Very luxurious for a Holiday Inn. Perfect for traveling with kids and family. Our room was huge, it had two Queen size beds and a bunk bed. The hotel, room and amenities are beautiful. The beach is clean, crystal clear, gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had lots of choices. I loved that our room had a large refrigerator and a microwave. We will definitely be coming back.

The room was clean and nice. The shower had a ledge and foot ledge that was half hanging off the shower wall. The plantation blind was a huge trip hazard. Why install something that distracts from view and could potentially be a danger? We enjoyed our stay though.

We loved the hotels location. All rooms have an amazing ocean view. Room was clean and spacious. Everyone we talked to from reception, to room service to bartender by the pool were super friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the shower, hate the rain forest shower head need more water pressure also didn’t have any hot water this morning.

The hotel staff was very friendly, especially Bianca at the front desk, she made us feel welcome and checkin was a breeze. We had requested extra blankets for the kids, Bianca made sure that they were delivered prior to our arrival. The hotel has a large outdoor heated pool, hot tub and lazy river in the deck area facing the beach, our kids loved the activities on the deck. The breakfast was also excellent.

All staff was wonderful except one manager (Jordan) that never returned a phone call the front desk clerk promised. Therefore i paid for a night i never stayed there. Underground parking was great! Breakfast was good except watery eggs.

I could not of asked for a better stay for my birthday. The lobby was very clean, and the service was exceptional. Ethan was so kind and informative. He wished me a happy birthday, and was able to upgrade my room to a gulf view. At breakfast he asked how our stay was going, and always had a smile when greeted in the lobby. The pool/spa area was also very clean, and absolutely breath taking. I have zero complaints. Ethan really understands costumer service and absolutely went above and beyond for us.

While traveling from Texas to Florida we may have had chaotic trip putting us hours beyond our original arrival time, Angel was a total sweetheart. We called ahead to let him know we were super late and sleep deprived but were almost there. He assured us he would be there ready and waiting for us. He greeted two delirious travelers with a smile and warm welcome all at 3 am. He was the cherry on top of a long day!

This hotel is RIGHT on the beach. Our room on the 8th floor overlooked the gorgeous gulf. Staff was fantastic, so kind and helpful. We were pleased to be updated to an ocean view suite upon arrival - it was very big for just the two of us. One of the best things about this hotel is it's location on the beach. The pool was nice and a good temperature, although the lazy river was a bit cooler. There was a lot of choice at breakfast but the temperature of the food was a bit cold. It was good to have a bar on site that also served food. Unfortunately the bar was around the pool with limited covering so not a good option when it rained on one of the days during our stay. There are not many bars and restaurants within walking distance but we did enjoy a couple of visits to the Salty Goat across the road which had live music.

Spent 5 nights at this HIE&S and enjoyed it very much. For the price it’s a great value. It includes a large breakfast buffet, easy access to the beach a lazy river and 2 swimming pools with one inside. A business area and exercise room is also available. While we were vacationing there was a nightly movie poolside and Hawaii dancers. A couple of nights featured a bonfire on beach. The room was spacious and had 2 queen beds and a set of bunk beds for the kids. TVs were available for both sets of beds. The shower was great and so was the large refrigerator with ice maker. Definitely will be back.

This resort was a wonderful place for a family vacation! The hotel rooms were comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of items to choose from. The bar and grill outside was a wonderful addition so we could stay at the pool all day and eat outside. The lazy river was a hit with my family, and our grandchildren loved the Disney movies playing at night by the pool. The beach was just down the ramp from the pool and we were right there enjoying the ocean. Every staff member was so friendly, very helpful, and always had a smile on their face. I would highly recommend this vacation destination!💛☀️🙌

Loved our stay here. Plenty of lounges and chairs pool side. The bar/restaurant poolside was really good and convenient. The live music daily and evening activities were a nice touch. Family really enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was included with our stay. Every staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Really night place to stay, right on the clean beach and located close to everything. Pools were great and having breakfast there was convenient. Rooms were spacious enough and the regular size fridge was definitely a plus. Panama City was a pleasure to visit. just a couple of negatives, be prepared to be hit with additional fees the minute you get to the counter, like $40 bucks a day. They didn't do a good job of cleaning the rooms or elevator areas. Glass doors to elevators elevator buttons and panels weren't cleaned. Other common areas were good. Need to put a small table out on the balcony with those two chairs. Overall it was a nice place to stay

If I could leave a book about this place I would! We originally booked 4 nights and added an additional 2 nights because it was too great to leave! Dana at the front desk was more than helpful at check in, helping me decide on when to book the extra nights, and several other things. The hotel managers were very nice as well. Cami and the male bar tender at the pool grill were amazing! Their job never stops! This place had so much more than I was expecting and I am so happy with our stay! We will definitely be back next year for spring break again! My only take away, which is to be expected, the hotel drinks and food are very high priced but so delicious! Never had a complaint about food or drinks just the price , plan to splurge if you don’t want to leave the hotel! Well worth it!
