La Quinta by Wyndham PCB Coastal Palms

My door kept getting stuck and while it did eventually workt it was irritating. The lights by the pool are non existent.

The cleanliness was good. The area wasn’t far from restaurants or the beach. Staffing was nice. Loved the hot tub, pool was a lil heated, and shower was hot and had good pressure. Check in was a little slow. Seemed like it was just a lot going on when we got there. The room seems like it could use a little maintenance. Door stopper kept falling out the wall, tub water stopper fell off, and the mat in the tub had dirt at the placement line like it needed better cleaning. Lastly, later when we came back with food all parking was taken up front so we had to go to the back which led to having to walk to the front in the dark beside the side door entrance was working for the room key card. Otherwise it was a decent stay.

What a terrible hotel. Shocked to see other people gave it a high rating. I booked a room 5 months in advance. It was supposed to be ready by 3pm. I had to settle for another room. The smell of the room was like a pesticide factory. The room still had roaches. The policy is to clean your room after 4 days. No wonder why La Quita has a roach problem. Only one ice machine was working in the building and it was on the 3rd floor. The fitness had 5 pieces of equipment. All of the equipment was at least 30 years old. 2 treadmills and 1 bicycle that didn't work so, I had to go outdoors to work out! It was cooler outside anyway because the air conditioner was unplugged with 12 screws sitting on top of it. It probably hasn't worked in years. No need to work when none of the equipment works. The outside door that takes to the swimming pool didn't work. If you went outside to the pool area, you better make sure someone is around to let you back inside or you had to walk all the way around the hotel to the front lobby to get back in. I wanted to leave the first day but, I would have lost 4 days of that I had already paid for. I learned a very valuable lesson. Any hotel that won't reimburse you your money if you're not happy with their service, it's for a reason. They already know their hotel is terrible and once you are there you will want to stay somewhere.

We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub very much. Staff was always trying to keep the hotel clean. There were portions of the hotel that were dated and a whole countertop was missing in the dining room, but every time we asked for towels they complied without hesitation. Everyone was friendly and doing everything to make the stay the best possible.

I did not enjoy the breakfast or the fact the laundry room was full and only one washer worked. Overall the stay was great

No daily house keeping or change of sheets. Found ants on Day 2 but to the staffs credit they resolved it quickly with spray and changing the sheets. Breakfast is basic and to the point (coffee, eggs, paddy sausage, cereals, ect). Pool and Jacuzzi was clean but average.

At our time of staying, the dryer had stopped working. And some of the jets in the hot tub was not working. Other then that, everything else was good.

Customer service was friendly and accommodating when I requested for additional hour pass the depart time. I ask they have a stronger lighting for parking especially in the back of the building and improveme in thr front. Too many dark areas for safety concern. For an older building, it's well maintained. May need to update some work on the bathroom tiles since they all seem to be loose and uneven. I still recommend coming back to this hotel.

Good location needs to upgrade to a larger television way too small. Breakfast get shell eggs. Big lights in the parking lot was not working. Mattress was not comfortable.

The pool and hot tub was not the cleanest. The room and bed was very clean Breakfast was hot and fresh Entry of hotel coming out has huge hole near red light that almost busted my tire . We would definitely stay again. No one is going to be perfect

Had to request room to be cleaned again before bringing luggage into room. Mattress cover was dirty. Contacted the front desk and issue was resolved.

Very unclean inclusing black mold on ceiling/bathroom

Bathroom/ shower was disgusting. Grimey floors in bathroom and in the main room. Shower curtain was torn at the bottom, water on the floor after taking a shower, curtain also had multiple holes in it. Shower not draining quickly/ clogged.

Carpets in all the hall ways were filthy. I doubt the floors in my room had been cleaned even though it was not carpeted

It looks unkept. The door to my room looked as if was kicked in before, cracks in the wall, dirty floors needed a mop, room service never entered my room to refresh, l had to ask for more towels, no change for laundry room, dirty elevators, dirty carpet. I tried leaving but no one else had anything available.

The floor was nasty spelled like poop in the whole building. My room smelled like cigarettes. The cleaners don’t use vacuums they only sweep and don’t use mops. All the furniture was very very used. The bed was wore slap out wasted my money. DO NOT GO To this place it’s nasty. The hallway was stain in every room door way

The room had a smell of feces. The hot water in tub leaked thewhole time, the wall behind the shower must have a leak cause the wall was wet . The bathroom floor needed to be steam cleaned as it was sticky, dirty, & slick in spots.

Neighbors were extremely loud both nights and checkout this morning the staff was super rude. There was also a lot mold/mildew in our shower

After the first night discovered bag of dirty linen and underwear in the closet. Debris on floors. Place has seen it’s day.

Mold was growing in the grout on the tub, and it didn’t look like it’d been cleaned very well. You couldn’t walk around barefoot or your feet would get nasty…I expect to get sandy feet at the beach, not my hotel room. The sheets on both beds had spots on them. Breakfast wasn’t replenished very quickly as guests ate, so you might not get much. The waffle machines didn’t work properly either…the insides stayed gooey, while the outsides got too crisp. We’ve stayed at a lot of La Quintas while vacationing and never had any complaints, but this one was lacking.

I liked how spacious the rooms are

Hotel needs a little bit of a face lift, but clean and comfy. Amazing breakfast staff. They are working so hard on the fine details to provide the customer the best possible experience. Nice verity of breads, cereals, waffle station, eggs, breakfast meat and biscuits or potatoes depending on the day. Cons: walls are thin, often over heard conversations of guest or dogs barking. Could be an issue if your a lite sleeper. Very convenient location. Easy access to beaches or shopping.

Hotel staff was great. The bath/shower mixer handle was broken off the mixer and was fixed before we returned back. It’s a dog friendly hotel and a dog across the hall barked constantly and staff tried to fix the problem but whenever the owners weren’t there it barked constantly, for hours. After the mixer handle was fixed the tub/shower dripped all the time. When dripping from the shower it got the bathroom floor soaked because the water dripped on the handle, splashing to the floor. The room was cleaned after the guests before us but it wasn’t thorough. There was sand on the floor, makeup stained face towels that looked washed. One of the front desk clerks seemed like she didn’t want to be there, not friendly at all, no smile, no greeting until I greeted her.

When I arrived the TV didn’t work. Attempted to call front desk and the cord that connects to the phone would not stay connected. Finally got TV working. However TV small and disappointed in the few channels offered.

The water pressure was amazing it was convenient to shopping and some wonderful food however the air conditioner barely worked had it set in 60 ° and i was sweating if i did anything shower etc, i even went to town to buy an industrial fan to help cool the room all in all it was an ok stay wouldve been wonderful if i wasnt sweating my a** off

Check in went well, room was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all, just what we were looking for at a great price.

Very Unfriendly front desk service!! Check in was not good! I even had family staying there that had issues with checking in and front desk. Hotel was in a quiet location, out of the way. Cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating and hotel was clean. Unfortunately, this will be marked off my list of places to stay. I've stayed in other La Quinta's and never had this much trouble. First time in PCB and this was not a good experience with stay.

The hotel was nice. Good quiet location. Front desk service was not good. Not friendly, never spoke to us or checked on us as we came through. Check on was very frustrating!! Hotel charged us a day ahead even though it was pay at property and she blamed in 3rd party and wouldn’t correct the issue we had, not helpful at all! They gave some of our families rooms away that they had booked and were not very nice. The cleaning staff were very nice and accommodating! This was the worst experience we have had with front desk staff. I normally don’t leave so detailed reviews but this was not the best stay! Will not stay again if ever in area.

I was pleasantly surprised with the large size of the newly updated rooms. Our adjoining rooms were great and the staff accommodated us at the last minute. We were a family size of 3 adults and 3 children...our rooms were perfect with micro and fridge included. Front office staff was great...especially Donecia. They were very professional and supportive. The warm cookies were an extra delightful treat!!!

Came in late and night auditor was quick, efficient and very friendly! The room was clean and cozy!

Such a friendly staff. This is my go-to hotel in Panama City Beach.

Very friendly staff specially fromdesk Dianece , she be the one who every company would like to have as their representative. The whole hotel was very clean, the breakfast was always attended. There is not a single thing that it could be said negatively about La Quinta Inn hotel at Costal Palm at PCB, FL. We are planning our next trip there.

Horrible experience with front desk staff , very unprofessional should have mor experienced staff dealing with customers

This hotel was one of the worst I have stayed in. The check-in front desk person was rude, and completely unprofessional. There were 6 people in my party. 2 of us are blind and 4 of us are sighted. I travel with a guide dog, who is trained to guide me around as a mobility aid due to my blindness. The front desk person wanted me to fill out a pet form, saying it was company policy. When I explained that my dog is not considered a pet because he is trained as a service animal, she said that there was a form for this and I had to fill it out if I wanted a room. To be clear, it is illegal for someone traveling with a legitimate service animal in a public place to fill out a form. I tried explaining this to the front desk person, but she wasn't hearing me. I asked to speak with her supervisor, and the other person there wouldn't speak with me either. I asked for the hotel manager, and I was told they were not there and they were getting texted, and they were going to see if I could still have a room after declining to sign this form. I offered to call the police and see if maybe an officer could assist them with following the law. Front desk person said I could do whatever I wanted to, but if the manager said no, then I could not have a room. Eventually, I was given the 2 rooms I had pre-paid for with my advance reservation. Because we didn't feel welcome, the rest of the stay was unsatisfactory.

Access to my interest were very convenient. The drive to dinining, the beach and shopping were all within twenty minutes or less.

It was close to everything I needed to get to.

I visit Panama City 8-10 times a year. This hotel is my first choice! Great price, facility and location. Great staff!

Clean property away from congested summer traffic. Relatively close to other businesses but not close enough to the beach to walk. Beds were too firm for us, bedding was clean and bright, a/c worked well. Room and services were great, breakfast was very good. Bathroom was clean, white towels were bright and very absorbent. Did not use the pool.

An excellent place to stay. Far enough off the beach to be relatively quiet. Close enough to be convenient.

Simple, solid place close to the Naval Dive Base. No complaints. Staff was super nice.

We were waiting for pancake for two hours since 6 am I thought they started preparing the breakfast early before 6 so we decided to leave and went home.

Karen prepare breakfast every morning she did a fantastic job keeping the food coming out hot cleaning the tables after every guest.

Breakfast is ready and fresh coffee 6:00 they are not just getting there to start it. I need to leave by 6:00 for my job but love my coffee and of course small pots don’t not brew it like the commercial big pots. Always immediate hot water in bathrooms.

The room was clean, the pool and hot tub area was clean. They ran out of towels outside and the desk and staff replaced them quickly, the desk staff did amazing. However, the breakfast service was the worst I've ever had. When we got to breakfast there were no plates, no forks, we wandered about for a minute before using a few little pastry plates. Eventually, a lady came out from the back with just one handleful of forks... disappeared for more than a few minutes then came back with a small stack of disposable plates... disappeared again for several more minutes then brought one bin of eggs then continued this one item disappearing act as guests searched and waited for items. The gravy for the extra dry biscuits tasted like alpo gravy. The coffee was closer to tea in transparency and closer to water in flavor.

This is the best value in Panama City Beach. Hotel is immaculate inside and out. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Karen did an outstanding job with breakfast.
