Enjoyed our stay 6/4/2025 Was a little concerned after reading some reviews. The staff (a young girl and young guy) were very friendly and helpful at check in. Be sure to bring $100 in cash for deposit , it's listed several times but people still seem to not understand that from the reviews I've read. It you're going to treat the room right you will get it back at checkout. You will need to list the info for any vehicle you have too. Was a little more out of the way of things than I thought it would be from the maps. Definitely take back roads to travel not front beach road. It is not a new or luxury hotel. Expect what you book and pay for. For the price being at the beach I got what I paid for. Room was decently clean not perfect. There was a light out that they immediately and kindly came to replace as soon as I told them. Had no problem providing a little extra shampoo and conditioner when there were only one of each for the 4 of us. Tub plugs need replaced as they were a little black. Fixtures could use a good deep clean, but for the price it was fairly clean. No bugs of any kind seen anywhere. At checkout the more adult lady was pleasant as well and gave no issues with checking out. Was not able to swim so I cannot review the pool. We ran out of time for swimming. Beds were not the best, nothing wrong with them but too firm for me. AC worked well, stayed cold. Hot water stayed hot through all 4 of us showering one after another. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the staff. They were awesome!! The room was old and very dated, but clean. The dryer didnt work but one of the housekeeping guys was nice enough to dry our towels for us. The cash deposit seemed scammy at first, but seeing some of the other clientele, it made sense. We stayed one night on a girls trip and would probably stay again for one night. If you are a lone woman, who does not carry, i would probably pick a better area. They do have excellent security cameras so... beach is a mile away

You get what you pay for. Old inside and out. On the main drag into town. Right across the street from an amusement park. If looking for a nice quiet location, this is not for you. Upon arrival to check in, the staff member had the door locked and was out at his vehicle. I was not aware I was going to have to provide a $100 cash deposit. Conveniently, ATM machine outside the front door, but they charge $4.95 convenience fee. The room numbers are very small and difficult to see/read in the dark. The parking lot was filthy with trash all over. Signage is poor around the property (enter, exit, pool, asphalt driving arrows, vending machines, etc...). The A/C was on upon arrival. The rooms are dark, I did not trust walking barefoot on carpets, the bedding was ok, and the mattresses were fully encased in covers. The cloth covered chairs are all stained, our door security lock was just hanging on the door unusable. The bathroom was a bit scary looking. There was no tv channel guide. We got what we paid for, which was a place to sleep. We did not use the shower, microwave, or refrigerator. And, we did not see or use the pool or vending machines. Our stay was short, one night. If we had planned to stay longer, we would probably not have booked this hotel.

Great location, especially during peak seasons when anything past walmart is full of traffic. The price is always nice on the pocket which leaves more money for my small family to do extra activities, and all the best attractions are a short walk away. The hotel is basic but cleaner than most of the ones we have been to even the nicer spots on the beach, thats all you need when your gone most of the day enjoying yourself or working. They have a side parking lot big enough for boats or large trucks and trailers.

If only I could post the video of the verbal abuse I endured from the owner, while trying to get compensation from the 5+ errors on their end, multiple hours of my vacation wasted, coming back from the beach having no water for hours, unnecessary 60$ I had to spend to replace all of my personal bathroom items due to ceiling leak. Not to mention the place is moldy from the inside out (Even the pool had mold) my family one by one fell ill within the 5 days we stayed (most likely due to the mold) Just spend a little extra and stay somewhere else. You couldn’t pay me to take my family here again.

For the price I can’t complain too much, however the shower door was off track. The sitting chair had someone’s phone number written across it and stained pretty badly. The swimming pool was green and all the pool chairs were busted very badly.

The motel premises appear generally neglected and unclean. In the area behind the hotel, there is a container with items scattered around the parking lot. The check-in process is somewhat unusual, requiring a $100 cash deposit, which is not a standard practice for motels or hotels today, especially given that fewer people carry cash compared to the past. The carpet in the room was quite dirty with numerous stains, suggesting it hasn't been vacuumed or deep-cleaned recently. The electrical outlets and lights behind the bed were not functional. The television was on all the time, but the remote control did not work. The bathroom floor, toilet, walls, and bathtub were very dirty. The bathroom extractor fan was broken and did not turn on. The light fixture inside the bathroom was broken, old, and rusted. Overall, the room seemed worn, dirty, and run down. On a positive note, the bed sheets were clean, and the employee present during check-out was very pleasant. Having stayed in numerous motels and hotels both within and outside the USA, I have never encountered a small motel as extremely run down and dirty as this one. The nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The ceiling over the shower had mold and was painted over so many times it was bulging from the ceiling. There was clear evidence of a past or present bed bug infestations. The smell was awful. The towels were stained but the people at the front were very nice.

It was pretty much what I expected for the price. Beds were clean and check in and check out attendants were really nice. The room really needs some TLC. There were holes in the walls in the bathroom along with mildew/mold. There was also mildew/mold on the furniture in the room. It did its job for the short visit we were there.

What left us dissatisfied was that since we entered the hotel we were unable to access the wifi, my husband went to reception and was told that they did not know the reason and that there would be no other room to put us in Maia near reception, even though there were two rooms next to reception that were empty, as they had the windows open at all times with no sign of people who would be staying there.What I liked was the cleanliness, where the room was clean and the sheets too.

For a 6.8 rating I thought the hotel was going to be nicer. It’s out dated and old. Don’t know if anything is cleaned because of how out dated the rooms are. The shower was good , got an ok night sleep. As far as the hotel I would not have paid anything to stay here. I guess you do get what you paid for.

Nothing negative to say. Good, solid 6 day stay for us. Air blows cool. Shower didnt drain properly the first day, and the front desk sent maintenance to see about it pretty quickly. Friendly folks at the desk. Housekeeping respected our belongings and kept us with towels, bedding, and toilet paper. They do a good job here at the executive inn, and ive paid more for less at other places. If staying directly on the beach during a holiday weekend is out of your budget like it was for us, these folks are a great option, and ill probably stay here again.

The only thing good about the place was the night auditor. I was told the price was one thing & then the next day be charged almost double. When I inquired about it I was rudely told the manager can change it whenever he wants.

There was mold in the bathroom we were staying in and the whole check-in situation was a huge hassle. They needed everyone's ID, my car registration, and another $100 cash deposit on top of the rate for the room. The staff wasn't exactly friendly, they didn't really seem like they wanted us to be there at all. The beds were fine, but again, the bathroom ceiling was filled with mold and you could see the spores all over. It also reeked of mildew when I went in the first time. I wish I'd gotten photos but we were only there for one night and I was ready to leave as soon as we got there.

Staff was extraordinarily rude at check in. They require IDs of all adults in room, which just added to check in time unnecessarily (companion had ID stashed well, unprepared to need it), lengthening check in as we couldn’t get started without all IDs present. A $100 cash deposit was required as well, which was not disclosed prior to booking or I wouldn’t have booked. I have zero desire for the hassle to get that back in the morning at checkout. The lady who worked the overnight was quite lovely and really the only food part of the stay. Bed was comfortable, and AC worked well, so there’s that.

Service was good manager was very kind and helpful, had to give cash deposit for damage and everyone staying had to provide picture ID , never had to do that anywhere!

My room smelled like it had mold. Plus my 100.00cash deposit that I had to give them was stolen by them cause I didn’t come that day to get my deposit back even though I called them as soon as I realized I had forgot to get it and keep getting the run around saying I had to call back during the day time to get an answer on when I could pick it up & after a few days of calling I went in there when I was on that end of town & was told that since I didn’t get it immediately after check out that they get to keep it!!!

First I’m going to say I’m not too picky when the price is right. At $55 a night after taxes and fees it can’t be beat. It even has a pool (I didn’t use it). The room was clean without bugs. Was it spotless-no, remember I said $55 a night. You could walk to the beach and all the attractions in town. It’s walking distance to one of the best buffets in town and the tourist Walmart. I only live a 1.5 hours away but wanted to fish out there and needed a place to sleep. If you’re on a budget this place is Fantastic. Staff are kind and the area is safe. 10/10 for budget hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again when I do a staycation with my son.

You get what you pay for. Old inside and out. On the main drag into town. Right across the street from an amusement park. If looking for a nice quiet location, this is not for you. Upon arrival to check in, the staff member had the door locked and was out at his vehicle. I was not aware I was going to have to provide a $100 cash deposit. Conveniently, ATM machine outside the front door, but they charge $4.95 convenience fee. The room numbers are very small and difficult to see/read in the dark. The parking lot was filthy with trash all over. Signage is poor around the property (enter, exit, pool, asphalt driving arrows, vending machines, etc...). The A/C was on upon arrival. The rooms are dark, I did not trust walking barefoot on carpets, the bedding was ok, and the mattresses were fully encased in covers. The cloth covered chairs are all stained, our door security lock was just hanging on the door unusable. The bathroom was a bit scary looking. There was no tv channel guide. We got what we paid for, which was a place to sleep. We did not use the shower, microwave, or refrigerator. And, we did not see or use the pool or vending machines. Our stay was short, one night. If we had planned to stay longer, we would probably not have booked this hotel.

Great location, especially during peak seasons when anything past walmart is full of traffic. The price is always nice on the pocket which leaves more money for my small family to do extra activities, and all the best attractions are a short walk away. The hotel is basic but cleaner than most of the ones we have been to even the nicer spots on the beach, thats all you need when your gone most of the day enjoying yourself or working. They have a side parking lot big enough for boats or large trucks and trailers.

This hotel could use some remodeling. The room was ok, but obviously has seen some better days. I don't recall if there was a coffe pot in the room. I did appreciate the refrigerator.
