Budget Motel by definition. There is lots of promise there but the upkeep and cleanliness is less than desirable. AC unit overtuffed with dust and dirt and most importantly the tile floor, although rather new and of good material, was for lack of a better word, filthy. Like, black feet dirty from walking on it barefoot. We didn't remove our shoes/sandals to get around within the room. The room itself was fine for the price demanded, but the lack of decor, lamps, or wall hangings made the room less than desirable. Shower and bathroom were more than adequate. The kitchenette was itself dirty and if needed would've sufficed, but in it's current state was also unkept. Bed was comfortable but only had a sheet with NO blankets in the room to speak of. Being Phoenix in early September isn't a BIG deal, but it's always nice to have that option if needed. All in all, best description is a barebones room with no amentities and need of better attention to housekeeping cleanliness. But for a low budget motel room, simply adequate.

Everything was good until some lady woke me up at 4 am, asking for two male names and when my husband said no, she said oh well I have your card I found it on the floor but the front desk only gave us one and we had it already. I don’t know what would of happened if we never answered,

Staff was nice and accommodating. My only real complaint is that I wish the room were a lot cleaner. The first night, a flying cockroach came out of my bed and a found a cricket in the room the day after. Men's whiskers were in the fridge and in the shower. Luckily, pest control came the following day so that was good. The sheets have a lot of stains which is disappointing. The power also went out but I don't know how much control the staff had over that. This hotel has a lot of potential; the remodel was done nicely. The housekeeping is tremendously lacking which is a shame because it is a huge part of a pleasant hotel experience. Wish the vending machine accepted cards or tap to pay.
