The Champagne Lodge & Luxury Suites

Property was romantic and loved the large hot tub but it needs major updating. The steam shower didn’t have steam. The shower head did not function properly. The door had to be latched or it would blow open. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I have mixed feelings on this property. I was very excited for the pool suite which was quite a bit of money to book. When we arrived, we noticed there are no windows for natural light within the room, so it was definitely something to get used to. We noticed housekeeping never visited our suite in the 5 days we were there. Certain lights didn’t work, and we had issues with our AC. Our shower was broken so we could only take extremely hot showers, and I mean boiling. After 3 days we finally had the issue fixed, but it was slightly inconvenient. We also had to ask for it to be fixed multiple times and tried explaining it was broken prior to us entering the room, but it seems as though we were looked at as the one who damaged it. The power also went out a few times which was scary since its pitch black with no windows. However, whoever helped us eventually correct the issue (may have been the owner) was quite friendly and accommodating. The staff also were pleasant to work with. It was beautiful decor inside and everything was well cleaned. Overall, we did enjoy our experience here, but hope in the future things are inspected and fixed prior to our stay. We hope to visit again in the future despite everything, as it was amazing to have our own pool in our suite!!! And the bed was comfy.

Swiming pool suite was awesome. Pool is warm an jetted.

The hot tub and steam shower plus we got free upgrade since we stayed a couple days earlier also

The property & room was ver clean & quiet. No distractions we had everything we needed right in the room. Loved the huge hot tub & steam room shower. Will visit again soon…

Controls for speakers in the rooms need updating and some pairs need to be made to steam room door otherwise great room/place and the mini bar prices are unbeatable for a hotel will recommend

The spa room smell like mold, the jets on the hot tub were not functioning properly and the steam room was not working properly as well. The lighting was very poor and some of the lights didn’t work.

Free up grade to a larger whirl pool but The steam shower was out of order

I loved the whirlpool jacuzzi tub, and the lights above the bed. I didn't like the fact that the steam room didn't work in the shower. Overall nice getaway!!

There was a roach in my room , when I went to the front desk to tell them they told me it was normal and there was nothing they could do.

When we checked in we where given a pool suite. Before we put anything in the room we inspected it and pool was dirty so we went ttro office thwy shiwed us another one which was cleaner but the place needs a ton of uogra3des one being mattresses

Sheets had what looked like water stains and pillow cases has some form of dry orange scum . Had to request for clean ones. The 3 stars are for the jacuzzi. It was exceptionally clean. The room was very underwhelming and did not live upto the photos you may see online while booking. Everything is old and hanging in by the thread. It’s a very average private establishment and you get what you pay for kind of thing. The staff was very professional and responsive. Otherwise, I was disappointed.

found a BEDBUG IN THE BED, brought the killed bug to the front office, where the manager then crushed the bug and pushed it on the floor, responding “it’s a common bug, we”ll look at the room” no apologies, no compensation. Birthday was ruined. Will never stay or recommend this location. Staff was very rude I’m so disappointed.

We had to switch rooms because the floors looked nasty and then went to the next room and hair was all over the vents. The rooms were poorly cleaned this time. The staff were very accommodating but the last time I was there the steam room was not working properly so I’ll say check in early so you can check the integrity of the room and have them clean it properly and that all the aspects of the room works.

Our stay was wonderful. The property was very clean. Staff were polite and welcoming. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub & winding down from our busy lives. I would highly recommend a getaway!

It was such a great escape. Smelled clean and was beautiful. Comfy beds, great set up, huge tv.

Outdated and tv was on the fritz would turn off randomly and the light switches didnt work in some areas.

We loved the Jacuzzi and I enjoyed the shower even though the steamer part was not functioning. We were underwhelmed by the bed and noise. The bed was no better than a motel bed, and the noise was the same. You could hear traffic on the interatate all night long. We were thankful we brought our own blankets.

The rooms need to be updated

I had a sander room. It could’ve been a little bit better. We had low water pressure. I felt like I was in a box actually.

It was a beautiful room, but a little on the dated side. I gave 4 out of 5 a tars because the mini fridge did not get cold & the bed had a sink spot in the middle. But to be fare, I did not complain to them & give them a chance to correct it, we just made do. We were otherwise "occupied " on our first anniversary trip 😁. Would definitely go back!

Never received my deposit back and it’s been over 16 days. Been calling the front desk for past week. Never available to answer the line.

I will be back from the time I walked through the door to check in I felt a very good vibe they welcome you to their place with love they explains everything to you that you need to know anything you need they will try their best to help if they can first time I rented at a hotel in was welcome so nicely I love it I really do recommend

Place was very clean and very friendly , staff was super friendly and very accommodating! Definitely would book again :)

Swimming pool

i would like to say the easy upgrade and nice service from the front desk was all you needed to have a good night. they did wonderful!

The room itself was lovely, but whoever checked us in was pretty snippy right out the gate. She did give us an unexpected room upgrade for free and a discount on early check in which was super sweet, but her attitude was mostly unpleasant.

I’ve called multiple times regarding not receiving my $100 deposit back after staying Nov. 17. and they all make up lies saying different reasons why. I’ve gotten: 1. It’s my bank, 2. it’s the holiday, 3. it’s because of Expedia I’m calling the cops after the holidays on them for fraud as I’ve seen multiple reviews on Google and here saying it’s happen to others. It’s very sad. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room is a lot smaller than anticipated but I guess does the job for an intimate two. The room was clean but had an off chemical smell, even in the sheets. The staff checking us in was very welcoming and informative. However, the staff upon departure was horrible. They rushed us out the room by calling us 13 minutes before check-out time telling us we had 5 minutes to leave. I checked the time and asked if she sure it was 10 or 15 mintues. The staff said no you must leave in 5 minutes or you will be charged an extra fee, an hour for the room. Which the policy states on the plaque in the room that guest will only be charged an hour after staying in the room. Luckily we left in time. They ended up giving us our deposit back after making us wait to check the room. I would not be coming back here for the horrible service.

Overall the stay was lack luster at best. The staff were not that engaging when we checked in. The steam room has not impressive and the tub had lacking jets. Overall not a bad place though for the price I expected more

Sherry was a manger there during my stay who told me that everything that was wrong was my fault my vent was hanging bothering stink chipped lights didn’t work above bed bathroom door handle was broken I was blamed for blood and wet floor that had nothing to do with me took my money for sheets Anna refused to show me the sheets I would never stay there and i would never recommend this place to anyone toooo pricey and it’s worn down and the manger was not helpful at all and was very rude I’m literally still in tears this was our 1 year marriage anniversary

One of a kind experience, great privacy, friendly staff, unique place and I would very much like to stay again some time.

The staff was very welcoming. The room was very nice. The jacuzzi tub could fit about 3 people and still have a little room. Loved it. The steam shower was ok. It had a lot of grout in it. Just bring shower shoes and youll be good. The location was perfect. In a suburban area, tucked away. So its very quiet. 30 minutes to downtown when its after work hours. Its Chicago, traffic is traffic. Lol. But there are plenty of shops around. I would definitely come back.

The Continental breakfast was a joke there were only snacks cakes and coffee

Everything was clean, it was quiet, comfortable, breakfast was a little lacking but it didnt take away from the experience for the price. I suggest bringing a cash deposit

I guess everything was alright, but... the neighbors we had were so load pounding music til 3 am. We couldn't sleep at all. Also the breakfast was horrible for paying that amount of money to stay.

Love the room just as recomendation to update some details in the room and more comfy pillows but overrall love the place. They offer affordable prices on drinks and nice staff. Love the free light breakfast.

This hotel looks cool online, but the staff is kinda rude, the breakfast is mainly little debbie snack cakes, the towels are faded/dingy and bleached, the rooms are cool for lovers but need grout work done and the lime and calciun buildup is CRAZY. You can tell they arent taking care of the property.

Everything was nice but i purchased a spoiled orange juice.
