Comfortable room, the Internet was lousy, kept kicking me off, going in and out. Also, when we needed a cart to check out, none were available. They let residents keep them in their room overnight.

The door lock was defective, the air conditioner didn’t work, our 3rd floor room had ants and after five only the receptionist was there to address problems. She said she was ‘new’ and the next morning, when we repeated what was wrong with the room, the other receptionist said that other rooms on that floor had the same complaints. The rooms were shopworn and the whole experience was substandard in comparison to what we paid for the room.

Carpets need a wash/deep clean, WiFi is trash, and their breakfast really leaves more to be desired, but other than that, good place for the price. Location is top notch, which made it worth it.

The hotel appeared to neglect real cleanliness. Looked as if it doesn’t get touched for months, the horrific smell as soon as we walked in our room was stomach turning and all together a horrible experience. The Air conditioning works off of the thermostat which was broken and the service desk attendants were not of any help. Our key cards would quit working almost every other time we used them and would have to keep going to the front desk to have them replaced, in which they all acted like we were bothering them. Look before you book!

Please do not stay in this property. We had to switch rooms because the first room had mold covering the ac unit. The mildew smell was terrible. The second room wasn’t cleaned properly, there was crumbs on the living room floor and the cabinets were visibly soiled. We still found mold in the bathroom so we checked out after one terrible night.

Liked the space with the rooms but it did not look like the pictures and was dirty in a lot of places especially the couch. Very stained. Wipe everything even head boards those were dirty too.

If it wasn’t a non refundable I would have backed out of the room & booked somewhere else ..The room was worn down , saints all over the furniture & curtains & dirty smeared headboard & kinda gross . Some of the lights didn’t work & the elevator was really dirty. I took pics of my room

Hotel is very outdated, needs basic repairs. Half of the outlets in the room did not work, most lights did not work some had no light bulb. Shower curtain was ripped on both sides, toilet seat was broken. Floor was dirty and carpet had stains. Sofa in room was very very dirty.

The property was very rundown and in need of a remodel. There was a hole in the door of our bathroom that had been patched poorly, the room was dirty, with stains on the sheets, marks all over the walls, hair in the shower and stains on the chair and the couch. Very disappointing.

The place was very unclean and the house keeping was cleaning the next door room and threw the sheets outside and was in front of our door. They should leave it in the room they are cleaning. Not in thw hall way. The trash can in the hall way was filled to the max and water melon on the floor next to the trash can. It was Pouring out the trash can. Down stairs there are ants all over the trash can crawling all over the can and walls. This was very gross. Third floor the walls are not clean and the elevator is very loud while door open and shutting it is squeaky. Does not feel safe. Coffee pot in our room is dirty. And the coffee is stale. The bed covers is old and threads are sticking out the bed spreading. Please update this holtel facility it is very unsafe and I did not see one sanitizer station anywhere around the lobby.

Was a decent stay. They’ve tried to upgrade the facilities. However, the furniture is still outdated. The bed was uncomfortable. The walls had cracks and some electrical outlet plates were not on the walls. The shower was old as well. I’m also not a fan of the price hikes they do when there are events in town.

The hotel itself looks well. But walking the hallways you could hear everything from every room. Our comforter had yellow stains on the bottom of it and if you dont like morning light they dont have black out curtains. I also asked for a extra pillow because the pillows are half the size of a regular one and they told me they couldnt help me with that.

The room was bigger tham expected. There was a full sized fridge ,a stove top, 2 Tvs a desk and a couch. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Usual breakfast food including waffles.Nice pool.

We got an amazing price for a really nice suite room. This worked out great traveling with kids. However I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to sleep in that pull out bed. So the kids just slept in bed with us. Maybe I misread, but the free breakfast is pretty sub par. Waffles, breads, yogurt and cereal only. No hot food. Also the drain to our tub wouldn’t stay open so we had to rig it with a straw, otherwise every shower was a bath.

It’s a little outdated. Elevator sounded old. Hallways were definitely dingy and smelled like cigarettes. Rooms were decent. You can tell it was outdated. The tub was a little old looking. The handle bar in the tub, there was a one inch hole near the hinges. I wouldn’t trust it to be safe if someone had use it, to get up. I liked that it was close to a lot of stores and eateries. Felt safe around the area.

When checking in late the first night the gentleman at the desk was very rude and hateful. He commented that my credit card was invalid when after taking to the CC company my card was never ran or processed. The room was dirty, the shower had water stains and cracks in the ceiling, someone above us was so loud it was impossible to sleep for two days. I ran into the gentleman that was at the desk again and told him he never ran my card. He said he didn't care and if I didn't like it to take a card from the counter and complain! This was actually the third and last time we will stay at this location.

Great experience. Felicia checked us in and was so friendly and welcoming and made the start to our weekend amazing. Not only was she sweet to myself, my mom and my puppy but I also witnessed the same kindness with other hotel guests. The room was clean and fully supplied which i was impressed with having stayed at multiple other hotels over the years visiting my mom. I always get a suite with a kitchenette. It was clean & stocked with all supplies which in the past i have seen some hotels been severely lacking in dishes & sometimes even linens. We had a great experience and i will be booking for my future stays. Thank you again to Felicia she deserves kudos.

The room according to the front desk was cleaned before we checked in. When We checked in it was not clean. Dishes were dirty, food on the wall and stuff spilled on the carpet. When house keeping came in all they did was take EVERY single towel in my room even the folded/clean ones and NOT replace it with new towels. They also took the trash bags OUT of the trash can and didn't replace the bag. They did not wipe anything down nor did they make the bed. This was done 2 out of the 3 times housekeeping was in my room. The door latch that you switch over the inside to stop the door from opening was broken and locked me out of the room 2 times with NO one inside. I had a bottle of about $180 worth of prescription pills that disappeared while I was staying there. I had another week booked at this hotel and I cancelled it and went to a different hotel in the area because of the above. Think twice before going here!!

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. We were behind packing on the day to check out and we told the front desk we might need extra 30 minutes to 1 hr and they were okay with it without additional charges. We will come back for sure!

The room was spacious (we had a suite) and had kitchen facilities. The room was clean, but lacked some minor maintenance (bathroom lights not fully working, missing a toilet seat bolt--which my husband got a bolt from the front desk and repaired, and the kitchen was lacking in utensils for both cooking and eating). We were conveniently close to the freeway (though we didn't hear freeway noise), and close to shopping. We were just a short distance from downtown and the airport. Overall, it was a good stay and I would definitely see us staying here or at another Hawthorn again.

The elevator was broken when we got there and we were first assigned a room in the second floor when we asked for handicap accessible. They did move us to the first floor after getting into the room and it was missing a coffee maker. The cleaning people kept stealing our bar of soap and replacing it with a new one. We started putting it away so they wouldn't keep wasting them. They didn't vacuum until the fourth day of our stay. There were always ants in the counter with the coffee even after the breakfast was put away. The breakfast was disappointing because they did not offer eggs, bacon, sausage, or other proteins. They had hard boiled eggs that were kept cold and they were gross tasting. They didn't restock after big groups went through so we never saw the complete selection.
