Sorrento Flats

Incredible service. We got lost on our way there and Luigi came out to find us and helped with my luggage. Breakfast was great with many options and the hotel is conveniently located close to shops, the train station and ferry. The only downside was that we were able to hear a lot of street noise (people,cars and banging) that woke us up even with earplugs on. Other than that, great spot.

The owner Luigi tried very hard to please customers but I had to tell the truth. This hotel has 2 properties. The front desk is in a street without car access, which Luigi never told me despite I had message conversations on Wahtsup. Taxi diver dropped us in main square and we had to drag luggage walking in narrow & crowded papple stone street. Then Luigi leaded us to walk to the house we stayed throught the same crowded streets. On hotels.comwebsite they says they have elevator but both properties don't. Our room was on 3th FL. The staircases are very slippery. I have bad knee due to car accident. It was very difficult for me. Every day, we had to walk up and down several hundred staircase to access the port in order to get on the ferry. Luigi did not tell us about there is a elevator at the port. If he had told us, it would have saved me all the misery for 3 days. He told us above the port elevator after we checked out. Maybe for him , there is no need to pay 1.2 euro to use the port elevator but it wa super important to me. I chose this hotel because it said there is front desk 8am8pm. But the house we stayed has nobody. The 1st evening, I found there was no cups for tooth brushing. Only 2 small tea cups. I had to wash the cups so we can brush teeth. Then wash them again so we could drink water. And the next morning, after brushing teeth, I had to wash cups again so we could drink tea. Show cap is too small to use. Bathroom is very squishy. Terrible place for the price.

Luigi is the most attentive and gracious host, helping to set up private drivers and providing suggestions for restaurants and things to do. He responds quickly and thoroughly to questions. He met us and brought us to our room, which was very bright, clean and comfortable,including an electric kettle and mini bar. The room overlooked the Main Street which was very busy, but we heard nothing through the sound-proof French doors. I love how bright is was but you can completely block out all light by closing the outside shutters. The beach and ferry port are within 10 min walk and there is a beach bag with beach towels in the room. Great water pressure in the shower. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants, sights. Be sure to explore all of the little cobblestone streets off the Main Street. Luigi greeted us every morning via WhatsApp message to make sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay! Great hotel but what separates Sorrento Flats is Luigi and his family. They make you feel at home right from the very moment you walk in. Breakfast was excellent and the cappuccino was one of the best of our entire trip. Thank you Luigi

Great location in centre of old city. Clean and modern B&B with only a few rooms. Amazing breakfast. A great host who liked after us throughout our stay. Excellent dining within a few steps. Will definitely be back.
