Best Western Adams Inn Quincy-Boston

There was no pool it had been filled in with cement. The restaurant was only open late in the evening. The continental breakfast was always ice cold no cleaning services at all.

One elevator and it malfunctioned. We had to carry all of our luggage up three flights of stairs.

The water front is very nice to view. The breakfast was great and they have coffee at all times. Around it is quiet and there is a walking trail you can access. The hotel is older and could use a remodel. You have to pay to park a vehicle.

Staff are great. Bathrooms in room need repair and upgrading. There are photos of a pool online at this hotel. There is no pool on the property. Mentioned to the staff working. They said they have notified owners but the photos have not been taken down. False advertising on ownerships part.

Our room was directly over their event room, and they were having an event that evening. We had to go to bed early {9:30 pm) because we had to get up at 4:30 am to go to an event the next morning elsewhere. Unfortunately the hotel's event that evening was playing very load music which came right up through the floor into our room. I called the front desk to ask them to quiet it down, and they said the event would be over at 11 pm and they could not do anything about it until then. They could not move us to another room as they were full up. We did not have a peaceful nights sleep.

I was surprised, given its location, that parking was a separate charge billed through a separate online portal. That is very annoying. But there was plenty of parking around the property.

The property was undwr some kind of construction. Lots of noise from work or dogs barking. Breakfast was a plus to the property but we had to be moved because we dound a live rat in our room.

The elevator was out of service my whole stay

They charge you for parking once you get there even though they have a parking lot. Room was not what was described. Receptionist could not have cared less when we brought it up

The property was fine. Close to the highway so getting in and out of Boston was pretty easy. Breakfast was good. Hotel elevator wasn't working part of the time we were there but fixed before we left. Restaurant didn't seem to be open while we were there. A guide for TV stations and a controller that was better paired with a digital TV would have been nice. We certainly would stay there again!

Bathroom dirty, would not stay again

The beds were comfy and the sheets appeared clean. The breakfast was sufficient. The hotel itself looks ok at first glance. There was a definite order in the room and the walls had questionable marks on them. This made wonder about the beddings cleanliness. The bathroom had peeling paint and a shower head that sprayed out of the side. It sounded like someone was walking around above us all night.

The room was outdated, stains on the sheets and carpet, keycard did not work and an old-musty smell throughout the hotel!! These are the facts!

Ground carpet was wet, black mold in many areas in the bathroom, quilts and towels were dirty and not clean

Rooms were dirty , appliances outdated, rugs not vacuumed. and very noisy. Looks like the hotel is used by low-income people. NOT HAPPY NOT WORTH THE MONEY !!!!

Love the fact that it is by the river. The daily view, especially when we walk our dog, was relaxing. Staff were nice and accommodating. Pet friendly hotel and there were parks close to the hotel to take our pup for walks. The area is quiet despite being close to the highway and we still get some privacy because of the bridge by the hotel. The rooms were not in the best condition, especially the bathroom. Carpet smells and feels sticky (so definitely wear slippers/shoes). Couch also felt sticky and smelled gross. The big plus with the room was the soundproofing. Some folks were loud at night and you can hear them in the hallway, but not from our room. Would definitely come back here if they fix those minor issues (carpet, couch, bathroom).

Very close to downtown boston and Logan airport, lobby and restaurant are well kept and clean, staff was friendly and helpful BUT the bathroom was in need of a lot of work. There was peeling paint where it looked like water had damaged the wall and hair and dirt on the counters and shower wall. Also you have to pay for parking even though the parking lot is connected to the hotel.

The sewage system was terrible. The smell in the room was horrible to the point I wanted to vomit.

Terrible. Walls are paper thin and heard noise from the bar until 2am. Rooms need updated.

Nice hotel with good view and short walk to T station. Unfortunately, the water in the shower/bath was barely luke warm on 3/3 days. Tolerable, but not comfortable to linger in.

The hotel was not very soundproof. We could hear the people in the room next door and people talking in the hallway.

Fantastic location great staff awesome breakfast unfortunately, the room that we were in on the smaller side was very noisy both inside with the ac unit and outside with the charter buses. For what I paid for the night, I’m very disappointed

Ok hotel but I had a terrible experience staying here. An event of some kind in the ballroom below my room had the walls vibrating for hours. Picture, if you will, a car with a gigantic subwoofer parked outside your hotel door. I was looking for a relaxing night before my AM flight the next day and I chose the wrong place. The staff did not mention the event during check-in, did not offer to move me when I complained. This hotel needs to decide if it is a respite for weary travelers, or a nightclub, and market itself as such.

The room was ok . The shower was broken and the AC was not cooling .

Room was quiet and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the river.

Refrigerator was noisy and also the room was right across from the ice machine which also was noisy. Other than that the hotel was pretty good.

Hotel was good. We had an amazing view, the pub food was delicious, and breakfast was very good. The only problem we had was the water in the room only ran lukewarm. Told front desk, but but wasn't fixed before we left. Definitely made for uncomfortable showers.

The staff at the desk especially Lauren and in the breakfast room (Elsa) were very attentive to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

I already complained about the issue with check-in we waited for an hour early in the morning for chekin even thought we have paid the amount and showed the confirmation details from Expedia to them we were asked to wait for a long time and for this we asked for an hour extra for checkout but they said yes while checkin and later while check out they made a scene unnecessary and said that we will be fined so we left with in 10 minutes.

Customer service was great

My experience was not the best. I would hope this experience was an anomaly. The hotel was definitely clean and having the option to dine at the hotel was nice. The location was convenient. Front desk staff was mostly friendly. Unfortunately, the elevator was out multiple days during our stay and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs when we arrived. Housekeeping did not clean our room on days promised (after 3 days) and I had to request it three times (over 3 days) before it was completed according to their promise, not due to an extra request. Needless to say, at that point, we needed things, like toilet paper which had run out. Some of the guests played music obnoxiously loud in the middle of the night for a couple of the nights (1-2am), which did not seem monitored and unfortunately interrupted my sleep. My rental car displayed a notification of “theft attempted” following a morning of late night music playing. The fire alarm also unfortunately went off twice (different days) while we were there, causing evacuation (in the rain) once after the electricity also was out and was not restored for several hours (at least 7), meaning no lights/no AC/heat etc. These issues combined did not make for the best recipe for happiness with my stay. I felt like there should have been some accommodation/credit/ apology provided, given the amount of issues that occurred but none were offered.

The stupid Hotel Front Desk Manager canceled my reservation and ruined my vacation. I came to the hotel and was informed that my reservation was canceled. I was shocked! The Hotel Front Manager said I had double-booked and she would fix it for me. Nope, she canceled my entire booking. I had to find a room in the middle of the night, across town, and pay more than twice for a room. The dumbest person to be in the guest services.

The staff was very nice upon arrival. Our first room didn't have hot water and they were quick to move us to another room. The second room was a little loud, but we were across from the elevator. There was an issue where the police showed up, but other than hearing the police outside out door, it didn't have any impact on us. We used the laundry room, those services were all fine. The continental breakfast was average, we enjoyed that there was instant oatmeal available all day. The coffee was okay also. We did not use any other services of the hotel. It was in walkable distance to the transit center which we used every day. Overall we had no issues and would stay there again.

The ladies at the front desk were literally rhe only friendly, personable people we encountered in four days in Boston. Maybe that's just coming from being used to Texas hospitality, but... it was nice.

This hotel is overpriced for the quality of the rooms and service provided. The rooms were filthy — the floors were clearly not cleaned properly. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. When I went to check out, I had to wait over 30 minutes with no staff in sight. Eventually, I walked around the property and discovered the front desk agent and manager casually chatting with a kitchen staff member, completely ignoring the guests waiting to check in or out. Extremely poor customer service and overall a very disappointing experience. I do not recommend staying here.

Only one staff member working on an apparently sold out day. She was clearly overwhelmed. However Lauren was calm under pressure and was as helpful as she could have been. She and she alone was wonderful.

Nice room with view of river - easy 15 minute walk to subway station, nice breakfast and nice restaurant also on site

This local is convenient to public transport to Boston, South Shore, Cape Cod and Providence. Auto traffic insane, but doable. Always have a comfortable stay😎

There's dining in the hotel at the pub, and the free breakfast was great. If I ever make it back I will definitely stay here again.

Decided to stay here, so close to downtown Boston. About 10 minute drive

Location not close to other restaurants or shops to buy food or drink items. On-site restaurant only open for dinner hours, so if arriving early afternoon there is not much possibility. Rooms spacious, but the fan in the bathroom sounds like a lawn mower. It goes on automatically with the light, which is unnecessary. Leaving the door open will air out the room. Fan very annoying. No possibility for depositing cans, plastic in recycling containers- or at least not visible to public

Staff were helpful and nice. Room needs updating, minor repairs, but was clean and had what I needed. Shower water pressure is very low, but it did the job. Being located within a 15 min walk from the T station was perfect, and the onsite pub/bar was great for a quick dinner.

The location is beautiful, right on the water, yet close to Boston.

Location was perfect for me. Facility was nice. Nice restaurant bar overlooking the bay. Room was a little run down. Tiles were falling off the wall in the bathroom. And room was small. Only had a single double bed. Thankfully I was traveling alone. Thought the price was rather high for the room I got. Felt like I was in the basement.

The property is in a great setting on the water with a great walk that follows the river. Nice staff of people who are willing to help you at all times . A great breakfast with hot foods and a nice assortment of choices of other things. And maintenance people who are ready to help you .

Giant hairy bug in the room, took me 9 tries to get something out of the vending machine, breakfast was pretty bad (cold pancakes, cold "omelets"). The bar says it's open until 11 but at 9pm check-in we were told "she's closing up soon". My room did have a nice view of the river.

Staff was great . Check in was AWSOME & accommodating. The Pub food & service was great . We had a view of the river which was super relaxing . Bed was comfortable

Evidently there have been recent changes to previous amenities ,like a grab and go breakfast for people on very early flights. We asked the person taking care of the breakfast area about it, and she didn’t know anything about it, but referred us to the front desk who informed us it was not offered even though there was still a sign advertising it. Breakfast was good though on the morning we were able to eat during regular hours. The dining area outside the breakfast area, which is open at night, had overflowing trash and dirty tables in the evening/morning.

Excellent stay! The breakfast was really good, and the room was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Adams Pub was quite convenient. Breakfast was excellent.

The people are very friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk to the bartenders to the housekeeping staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use an update but the price was within our budget and access to Boston was close and very reasonable. The food in the Adams Pub onsite was excellent and much better than the Quincy Market in Boston. The breakfast was ok, there was a decent variety and served hot. I would stay again and absolutely recommend it.
