Best Western Plus Richmond Indiana I-70

Meh. Under construction. Should be nice when finished but looking run down and torn apart now. My room had elevator noises all night. Wi fi did not work. Pricey for what it offered.

Property is under renos so the lobby is a makeshift table but it was fine. Breakfast had good options. Only complaint we had was not enough accessible outlets in the room. They are now behind the new storage solutions (which a very nice).

The patio just off the lobby is wonderful and quiet. Perfect for an outside nightcap or supper.

I was there end of April. The elevator was out of order which does happen. But on return visit June 3 the elevator was still out of order. For the amount of money paid to stay for one night and have to carry baggage up stairs was really disapppointing. The gal at desk was so kind as to offer to help with my things. I did refuse as I am still capabe but what about others??? I am sorry but this will probably be my last time staying at your Richmond, IN hotel. Very sad as it is very conveninent for my traveling.

The hotel was great, everything was clean, well stocked, and the breakfast options were great and tasty. The staff was friendly and efficient. They are doing some remodeling so there were some things out of place and the fitness center was closed, which was a bummer. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice. It was warm when I stuck my hand in which was good. It was quiet and felt safe. We would stay here again!

It’s fine but the elevator is sketchy. Construction debris around parking lot. Nails etc.

There was construction going on and they'd start early in the morning even on Saturday and Sunday. It was awful getting woken up by them. Sunday morning I went to take a shower and it was luke warm at best. The tile when you first walk in wasn't grouted and the whole experience wasn't worth the money.

Property was under construction so be aware of that, had to take the stairs as elevator wasn’t working. Had some noisy neighbors late but that’s not the hotels fault. Breakfast was good. Front desk clerk was very nice.

This is an old run down hotel in need of some work. There are out of order signs on doors from bathrooms to the pool. Although we were told the pool was OK to use. Seeing the out of order sign made me wonder. There appears to be some work being done, as there are new doors in the stairwell. Not sure where they are going, but hope it is the rooms. They were having trouble with with getting the room keys to work at times. The walls are so thin, we could hear our next door neighbors coffee discussion.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, so I am cutting them some slack. The lobby was being redone, front desk was in a temporary spot. But they were handling it OK.

Hotel is remodeling so a bit of a mess. Room was newly remodeled and very nice except for the ants every where. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was good, I like the scrambled eggs

Arrived at 1 AM without any issues. I've traveled a lot for business and personal reasons over the years, and this is probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever had! Breakfast was also very good. I only wish there had been actual cream (not prepackaged sweetened stuff--can't eat sugar) and ice available at breakfast. All in all, great stay, though!

The hotel was freshly remodeled and very nice. Very pleased with the cleanliness and decor. Loved having a walk in shower vs a tub. Typical breakfast, but glad to have nonetheless. The downside is that it’s located adjacent to railroad tracks, and it was very busy. Also, the heating unit turning off and on (like usual) was loud and also kept me awake. Not to mention there were people in the hall taking very loudly at 3:00am.

rooms are connecting rooms. very noisy, can here all conversations of others even if they are talking normal. If you have kids next to you, like I did. look out!

Good place to stay. Beds are clean and comfortable, bathrooms updated. Wifi is a little weak, and even the tv broadcast has "stutters". Good breakfast. and clean area.

Convenient hotel right off the highway. Much better than we expected and overall very good. Just need a more comfortable bed. It was bouncy and very soft. Was like an older bed. Not like a newer typical hotel bed

I’ve been to hotels all around the country and this one actually has a smart tv—a smart tv that actually works as it should! I also like how upgraded the place is. It’s really clean and I seen that they had a pool! The bedroom was nice it had an industrial modern look to it.

The staff was extraordinary. Excellent customer service and the best breakfast out of all the local hotels. The outside is being renovated. The staff responds quickly to any issue. Will return to this BW!

Quick, easy check-in. We stayed two nights and were pleasantly surprised to find our room cleaned when we got back to it on the second day as most hotels don’t do that anymore. The lobby and breakfast areas were decorated nicely and were very clean. Coffee was available at all times as well. There were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area and the price of the room didn’t break the bank. Kudos to the friendly efficient staff as well. We’ll definitely stay again when in the area.

The man checking us in was unprofessional and rude. The room was fine.

Should mention remodels it was just a bad experience very tacky not happy at all with experience. Staff was slow and unhelpful.

I left my hearing aid charger in the room. I called the front desk and a young man took my information and room number. He checked the room and found it. He called me as soon as he found it to let me know. He knew I was worried

despite the repairs to a broken water pipe that made it a mess in some of the hotel...the staff made a great effort to normally run the property for those staying there.

Room was nice and all but my girlfriend and drove in and got there about 2:15ish am and we waited for a little bit and no one came up to check us in. There was no sign stating the gentleman was away and that he would be back soon. I went around knocking on the employee only doors and went outside and still couldn’t find the guy working. We have been there well over 30 minutes now waiting to be checked in and I’m getting upset because I’m tired and it’s almost 3am and we have to drive 14 hours back home the next day. So we decided to call the phone for the hotel and no one picked up. About 45 minutes in we call Best western support and they try calling the hotel and no one picks up then they tell us they will try to get ahold a manager so they can call someone or come up there then a couple minutes later the guy walks in from being out behind the hotel through a far door to outside then walks all the way up to the front and ask if we were there to check in, then said sorry he wasn’t expecting anyone mind you that we had a reservation for a room and had been up there for over 45 minutes now and he didn’t care. He saw that we were from Texas and was like wow that’s a long drive and trying to talk small talk like we didn’t wait for 45 minutes while he was doing whatever at the back of the hotel. If I didn’t already pay for the room I would have gone somewhere else. I was very frustrated with my stay and that ruined the whole night. I would love compensation for my troubles.

This was a very nice hotel. The lobby was open and well kept. We appreciated that the TV was not on constantly. The room was very clean along with linens & sheets. The AC worked very well and was quiet when it kicked on. This is conveniently located off the interstate but we could not hear the traffic. The only thing we would rate low - trains rumble by occasionally but luckily do not blow their horns. We had earplugs so this did not disrupt our sleep. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. We actually stayed at this hotel Sat Apr 5- Sun Apr 6.

Only stayed one evening. New facility was nice, clean. Close to multiple restaurants, downtown, and US 70. Had to wait five minutes or better to get service to check in, but rest of experience was fine including a decent breakfast.

Love the location and the amenities

It was fine - good continental breakfast - good value for the price. Not very soundproof and we were near a busy railroad track. Also other guests slammed doors a lot.

While the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and upgrades that make the entryway, lobby and ground floor hallway a little chaotic, the staff is very welcoming and eager to assist, and the upstairs floors are looking good! My room was very clean with new fixtures and the bathroom was very nice as well. Comfortable and quiet and just off the highway. The price was right too!

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average and the coffee was excellent motel coffee.

The quality of the breakfast has gotten worse especially if you want healthier options. Hard boiled eggs or plain yogurt with fresh fruit would be good options. Also, we tried to share a show from an iPad to the TV using cast and Bluetooth and were not able to get it to work.

Loved the shower and the beds. The AC/heat unit was consistent and quiet. Very pleasant stay. Hot breakfast was very good and would have cost $25-30 for two if we had to go out to eat. The waffle with the topping and whip cream were excellent

Great value! Internet isn't the best, slowed me down answering this survey! No hot water for tea at breakfast, and no staff to complain to so I went back up to my room and microwaved water. 8:45 AM. I hope there's some for me to get at check out.
