The room was very nice but we went to use the hot tub and our key wouldn’t work so they fixed that finally got in and the hot tub was cold and murky went back to the desk and they finally told us it was out of service didn’t even apologize! Wish they would have disclosed that at booking or even at check in, or with a sign on the door!

• There were dead bugs in the room. • Trash was still in the trash can when I arrived, suggesting the room wasn’t properly cleaned. • Upon check-in, the front desk required a $100 cash deposit solely because my driver’s license showed a local address. This policy was never mentioned on Hotels.com during booking. I would not have booked this property had I known about this cash deposit policy or the condition of the room. The only redeemable part of my stay was the wonderful woman working the breakfast area, who was kind, attentive, and clearly cared about the guests—she was the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

Our room was pretty dirty. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers were TAPED with blue painters tape to the bathroom wall. Bathroom floors were dirty. Pullout bed mattress was filthy. No one was in the front office when we arrived. Air conditioner did not cool the room at all. Do not recommend.

We were really disappointed with our recent stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was far below expectations. One of our family members had to switch rooms because there was blood on the sheets, mascara on a pillowcase, and a used towel on the floor. Our own room wasn’t much better — it was dirty, and the toilet didn’t work. The overall experience left a lot to be desired. For the price and brand, we expected much better. Hopefully management addresses these issues for future guests.

The room smelled damp from the moment you entered the room, there was mold in the bathroom, the carpet was super dirty and full of stains, and the sheets were stained with liquid and torn. The only thing we really liked was the breakfast and the pool hours but even the housekeeping service was terrible. do not be fooled by the photos they do not tell the truth

Aside from the beds being made, our room had NOT been properly cleaned. There was food on the counters and if the fridge, dirty utensils in the sink, someone’s underwear hanging in the shower, and the only towels were in a garbage bag on the floor in the bathroom (presumably used and dirty.) We tried to go back down to the lobby to get a new room, but the clerk was GONE. We couldn’t find an employee anywhere. Granted, we had checked in very late at 1am, but there should still be SOMEONE there. By 2am we were all so tired and our kids were already asleep in the beds, so we just went to sleep in the dirty hotel room. The next morning we found an employee and tried to remedy our situation, but they told us that we had already slept in the room and we had bought the room through a third party (Expedia) so there was nothing they could do. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

This was one of the nicest hotels that we’ve stayed in over the last two weeks of our vacation. The only thing that we couldn’t take advantage of was the TV. It was stuck on a cartoon channel and we couldn’t figure out how to work it. We called for support but the employee didn’t show up to help. We gave up on it. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

I was impressed with my room. Clean and spacious. The room had a safe, bar area, couch area, desk and bench. Really liked the room. The pool area was neat and clean and the hot tub worked well. The location was very convenient to find and get to. Plenty of places to shop and eat close by on I40. Less than 30 minutes from Palo Duro State Park. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend this Comfort Inn for single or family stay.

We have stayed here multiple times and this was the first time we were slightly disappointed. We were put in the handicap accessible room (not really a big thing but just not standard). The beds were very strange and wobbly and bouncy. The head seemed lower than the foot of the bed. The shower would not drain. In the past this hotel has been on point for just a simple overnight stop. I reported everything to the front desk. Hopefully this was just a one off.

Nice property with your “normal” breakfast. The room was nice and clean. The water pressure was not there and the water was luke warm at best. Otherwise very convenient to the interstate and good for a quick overnight stop!

I was placed in the wrong room at check in. At 10 pm I was in bed with lights out and I heard someone entering my room. The light was suddenly turned on and a woman walked in. Both of us were in total shock when we realized we were booked into the same room! I was offered no apology or compensation from management for this incident. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times a year for the past fifteen years. This may change.

The night staff of three behind the counter could not find our reservation. We booked three rooms but they could only find one. They were completely booked. Per our suggestion, they called to check for availability at another hotel. Meanwhile, I contacted Expedia. The Expedia staff walked the Comfort Inn staff through accessing the other two room reservations. Perhaps more training is necessary. Did not appreciate the “it was my problem” attitude! Tired travelers prefer hospitable and Helpful staff! Missing knobs on the faucet handles. Pink scum in the sink even after cleaning. Musty smell in the room. Rooms were great size. Breakfast and breakfast staff were wonderful.

The staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. We felt like I was disturbing them. They didn’t even tell us where the elevator was to get to our room, we had to ask. Our room had 2 queen size beds and the bathroom was stocked with only 1 bath towel. The breakfast was decent.

My wife and my mother-in-law, and myself traveled 5 hours and got there at 2:15pm. The front desk girl would not check us in until 3pm. We asked to talk to a manager. We were told there was no manager on the premise. There was only 2 cars in the parking lot and we saw no other people in the lobby or anywhere in the hotel the entire time we waited. Finally at 3:00 we got checked into our room by a different person. It was very annoying to have to wait. When we went up to our room we still saw no maids or carts. We believe they could have been more accommodating.

The day we began our trip, I realized that somehow I had two Hotels.com reservations for the same hotel on the same night. I called the hotel in a panic, but the lady at the front desk immediately took care of it. The hotel wa clean and comfortable for the one night we stayed. The only down side is that the surrounding area wasn’t the best. It was fine for one night though.

Nice room for one night and equipped for longer. The bed was a bit soft for me but the Mrs. would have loved it. Breakfast in the lobby had eggs,bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles and more. Impessive.
