The room was fine. We stayed here the night before our flight. Our trip to the airport was early, 430am, and the attendant advised us that a ride share would be called if we needed to go to the airport when the shuttle wasn’t available, cost covered by the hotel. Great! However when we returned from our trip and called the hotel around midnight the woman who answered informed us the shuttle wasn’t running. I explained the previous employee promised us a ride share would be provided to transport us back to the hotel and she flat out refused to provide one. My 3yr old daughter was crying wondering why no one would pick us up. Needless to say we were forced to pay $60 for an Uber to get to our car at the hotel. AND the hotel charged us $50 to park there while we were away. The only reason we booked here was that transportation to/from the hotel was included. What a lie! I messaged the hotel in an attempt to resolve the issue before a negative review, and they couldn’t even be bothered to respond. Don’t waste your time/$ staying here, especially if you hope to have transportation to/from the airport. Complete ripoff and horrible customer service. One employee called a Lyft to the airport, the next refused to provide one from the airport.

The front desk staff during check in was probably the nicest and friendliest that I have ever experienced. The gentleman in the morning wasn't a morning person but no biggie. The shuttle was on time. The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfy. No tissues in the tissue box is my only complaint.

You get what you pay for. For the price, I was happy with the size of the room. But there was no body wash in our shower. It was an empty bottle. Bar is run by receptionist who said, “I’m not a bartender” so if you’re looking for an onsite bar this isn’t it. Pool and rooms dated. Waffle makers were broken and everything else didn’t look appealing. Had a cup of coffee. Location was great for the airport early in the morning.

Its location is terrible. The property is behind the freight docks of a shopping center. There is no shuttle to the airport. Instead, they have a contract with Lyft which is nice, but it’s not offered 24 hours. My flight left at 5am and I needed to be at the airport when their free Lyft was not offered so it cost me $25 to get to the airport using my own account.

When advertising airport shuttle, actually have a shuttle. Their shuttle consisted of ordering a Lyft ride, which can’t always be reliable to get you on time.

Only stayed one night and arrived later in the evening so didn’t spend a lot of time with amenities but the pool was so cold….had trouble enjoying that. 2 of 4 kiddos couldn’t last in the cold water more than a couple minutes. Rooms were clean and breakfast was pretty average. Overall pretty average. Nothing bad but nothing that overly impressed me either.

Given that this Hyatt Place was showing as 8.6 in reviews, we were not expecting the appalling condition of the hotel rooms. 525 was shabby to say the least. Mutsy smell. Ceiling stained and carpet soaking wet on one side of the bed by the air conditioner. Paint peeling, furniture damaged. The feeling was ICK! We were given another room 102 which was only slightly better. Elevator chugged to the 5th floor. Hallway walls banged up and stained as were the carpets. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff pleasant enough. Would we stay again? Absolutely not! This place needs an overhaul. It's put us off the Hyatt Place chain.

ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES! Got to the hotel late Wednesday, at the us open all day and evening Thursday and Friday came back to room in the afternoon to discover 1 roach in the bed 2 in the sink and 1 in light cover. Discretely talked to front desk, they moved us to another room which the a/c sounded like a train. Front desk took my Hyatt # and said they would add points. This never happened, called today and was told since I BOOKED ON EXPEDIA they couldn’t offer points but offered $40. I told them what they could do with that. They were aware at the time I booked on expedia. AVOID!

I have never posted a review before, especially not about a hotel I’ve stayed in. However, I feel compelled to share my experience to help. I have never posted a review before on anything, let alone a hotel that I have stayed I am posting this review to save others from my mistake and staying at this hotel. The pictures of the hotel are completely staged and false advertisement of what the hotel does not look like. This is a very out dated hotel. It is dirty, the carpets are stained, the floors in the elevators have stains on them. I never once saw a housekeeping cart in the hallway of the floor that I was on once in teh 3 days I was there. The rooms are dark and dreary, and there were bugs in the room. My husband killed one on the counter by the refrigerator. I thought it was a fluck thing until I woke up the next night and a black bug was crawling across the bathroom floor. The entire room set up was ridiculous but imparticularly the bathroom door was litterally shaved doen to by pass the toilet so it would close. The windows are super thin I heard the crowd of people hanging outside Saturday night until 0200 Sunday morning by the entrance of the hotel carrying on and partying. The breakfast is horrible. There was some sort of mystery meat hash I couldn't make out what it was. No labels on anything. Barley any selection or variety. This was a complete fraud/rip off of money for what the hotel charges. Save yourself the angst. I will never stay in a Hyatt Hotel ever again.

We came in for the George Strait concert. The staff members were friendly and efficient. The room was dirty. Especially the bathroom. Cobwebs and dust in the corners. The shower wasn’t clean. The carpet was dirty and there was a tear in the bed sheet. The hire sprinkler was missing the trim exposing the space above the ceiling. One of the worst hotels we have ever been to.

We booked 2 rooms for multiple nights a year in advance. The morning of our arrival the hotel cancelled our reservations because they were overbooked, and our credit card had been renewed during the year, so the number they had on file was no longer valid. No offer to find us other rooms nearby - just an agreement that travel is hard and a suggestion that we should call the third party to resolve the issue because they were busy and had two other reservations they still needed to cancel.

This will always be our choice when visiting Pittsburgh! I started staying here because I could bring my dog. He has since passed, but this time I brought my boyfriend and his kids and we met up with his parents from Ohio and we're already planning to come back. The staff really made our visit special, especially Stephanie and Brianne. I didn't get everyone's names, but everyone we encountered was very friendly. The breakfast and pool were also great and we love the rooms. Can't wait to come back for our next visit. Thank you for a great stay!

It is a decent hotel and we stayed here before, however this time it didn't go very well. We arrived close to midnight , check-in supposed to be available till 1 AM, however no one was at the desk to do the check-in. We waited and waited and waited. After 30 minutes of waiting, I started to call trying to reach someone who could assist. We already paid for the whole stay, so going to a different hotel wasn't an option. After another 30 minutes on the phone with a supervisor, a guy showed up at the desk, in place of a person who should have been there, and was able to finally give us the keys. Apparently, the person who was supposed to be at the desk, just left early. I suggested that person to be fired, obviously bad for business. Not sure if I will give this hotel another chance.

Stayed with my wife and daughter. Called the front desk asking for a down free pillow for my wife she is highly allergic to down feathers. The evening shift front desk kid was rude and refused to find us any extra pillows and a pack and play for our 9 month old daughter. We found one down free pillow that my wife used and i ended up having to sleep with out a pillow after stripping the bed of any down filled items. The room had no soap and when we asked for some the same front desk attend acted as if it was a burden and had an attitude when we asked for some. The morning front desk worker was very nice and did help get us an airport shuttle.

We had two rooms and had a big group with us. The staff throughout our stay were all very friendly. Check in was easy. Our rooms were very clean and they always restocked what we needed. The A/C was not working in one of our rooms, we cleaned our own air filters because it was pretty full of dust and after that it worked better. The pool was very clean and very warm. Breakfast was great everyday. Our kids were able to be kids without any issues, the staff laughed at them playing tag which was nice since most of the days were filled with rain. Overall, when we come back to the area, we will use this hotel for sure.

Everything about this place worked out for us. I must say that the staff was beyond exceptional. I don’t think I ever stayed at a place that had a better staff. There are plenty places to eat. There are places you can shop if you have free time. We stayed here for three nights and will stay here again if we are in the area.

Proximity to airport and shops/restaurants was a plus. Roads in and out of hotel are not in good condition, and there is litter outside the hotel in the parking lots, bushes, etc. Hotel itself was clean and staff was good. Room was good but sink faucet was loose and would move, as well as toilet handle.

Just 15 minutes from Acrisure Stadium and located in a shopping center with high traffic stores, this is exactly what we needed for our short stay. The room was clean and everyone was super friendly. I’d visit again.

The breakfast was subpar. Fruit cocktail out of a can, overcooked eggs, ham was dry, and potatoes tasted like the potatoes you forgot in the back of your freezer for a year. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The sofa was so uncomfortable it felt like you were sitting on a park bench. There was mold on the grout in the shower. They currently do not have a shuttle but they pay for Lyft. Honestly, I expected better for $212 per night. I would not recommend.

The rooms were clean and smelled clean. The service was helpful and friendly. The pool was a good size and not over chlorinated. The bar was ok, not alot of selections. The food at the bar was good. Garlic fries were delicious. The included breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had. They even serve Starbucks coffee. I would stay again for sure
