The pool wasn’t working. The lady at the reception told me while me 3 children were present that the pool needed maintenance because people do all sorts of nasty things in there. I asked if we can get a refund to go to a place that does have a pool since that was the main reason we booked - kids really wanted ti use the pool. Hotel staff were very friendly, from check-in, housekeeping, and check-out. I felt very welcome there. I received an upgrade to my room at no additional charge and i was very impressed with room 330. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. Parking was in the front of the hotel only and i was unable to see my vehicle, which im weird and prefer to be able to see it. Next time, ill request a room facing the front of the building, no biggie! Id definitely return to this location!

We arrived in a 26-ft UHaul truck and parking was tight. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an adequate parking space. We could have gone to a less expensive place but the Hampton was the best value in terms of quality versus price.

Old water-wasting toilet doesn't flush very well (slow water flow). Also the very odd auto-closing bathroom door was quite annoying. Inadequate bathroom exhaust fan...worked better if bathroom door was propped open with wastebasket. Staff was very nice. Also room had strong stale odor from old carpeting... too much residual cleaning products. The room furnishings and decor had been updated recently which was nice, but carpeting was tired.

I checked in my room around 8:45pm. I noticed a smelled when I first opened the door but I was so tired they I just flopped on the bed. Shortly after, I took my shoes off and walked to the window to close the blinds and my socks began to get very wet, that’s when I noticed the entire carpet was wet. I cashed down to the front desk and didn’t get an answer. I laid back down and went to sleep. Sounds 12:45am, I got up and went down to notify the desk clerk. He told me he’d come up to check but had to find security. He never came. My socks are wet, the room stinks of mold,

Our first room had a broken shower. The staff argued with us over a different double which was “more expensive” and forced us into a king which didn’t fit a family of 4. Even the second room had issues, with lights constantly flickering and needing to be repaired. The beds were awful, incredibly springy and made it almost impossible for 2 people to share a bed. Breakfast was pretty good, and the location was central to nearby sports fields. But beyond that, we do not recommend this hotel.

Area is generally safe but the tagged pumps at the gas station next door make you wonder about the area. Breakfast was mediocre at best. No bacon, chicken sausage? Warmed up pre-cooked eggs seem to be the norm these days but a sad decline in breakfast quality. The property is about 20 years old and starting to show its age a little but above average clean. Room tv's are too small and again show the properties age. I enjoyed the extra pillows and was able to obtain a couple more from the front desk. Linens were decent and bed was reasonably comfortable.

This was our second time staying here. Both times we have heard a lot of noise overnight, mostly from the hallways. I recognize that the behavior of other guests is not overly controllable. However, if there was a more sealed door (there was literally a 1.5 inch gap underneath our door open to the hallway) and perhaps better insulation, the noise would have been much better.

It was a good hotel in general. The only things I didn’t like were: they had no clocks in the room and there is an incidental hold of $250! That’s insane. It ain’t the Ritz. I wouldn’t stay at this chain again for this reason alone.

We liked the room with its little kitchenette sink and microwave plus a table and sofa. The room was clean and updated and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was being on the highway side of the hotel. If only hotels would put another pane of glass in the windows, one would not hear the traffic all night. Some people might not notice it. Earplugs helped; being on the far side of the bed helped. Sleeping on the sofa probably would have helped. All was great except for more ambient noise than we hoped for on our side of the hotel. Took off one point for it, but it wasn't any worse than many other hotels and not as bad as some.

The front desk staff was amazing I checked in, and my phone battery was running low. I didn’t have a charger and they explained to me that I could use my car charger to plug it into the USB plug in the room and it worked great. the room was spotless and clean and fresh Breakfast was awesome and check out was at noon. I enjoyed the later check out.

Terrible experience checking in. I had to wait 45-50 minutes in the lobby to get a key and finalize my check. Initially, I was told there would be a delay because there was a shortage in housekeeping staff and there weren’t any two queen bed rooms available. While I was waiting in the lobby, 3 families behind us were given their rooms without any issues/delays. I approached the receptionist and was told they had booked another family under my name and we had to wait until that family came down to the receptionist and left the room in order for us to be provided with a room. Over all this experience was disappointing, inconvenient, and misleading from the upon check in. We were told we could not receive any discounts for this inconvenience because our booking was made through a third party. This made our family feel as if our stay/service wasn’t valued because we didn’t coordinate our stay with the hotel directly. Overall, this was a horrible experience for our family and the severity of this incident was disregarded.

I love that it was on the edge of town. I went for a run on the country roads in the morning that were literally across the street. Yes, there were also numerous eating options right next door and within walking distance.

The stay was good as usual. AC worked great unlike the last time I stood at this hotel. Water pressure was good. I do not like the toilet seats; they pinch my skin. They are the ones with opening at the front. The free breakfast was sub-par for a hotel of this type. Specifically, there should be more selection of hot items, and better quality. Hampton Inn is running on a reputation that it no longer earns. The room was ok, but noisy and smelled like smoke. The hot breakfast was a bagel topped with a blend of eggs cheese and sausage (unfriendly to most diets and religions) and they were horrible. The fruit was bananas that were somehow green and bruised. To me, the hot breakfast used to be worth a little more money, because it saved me from going out for breakfast.

We travel for softball tournaments frequently. This is a great place to stay when we play at Rainbow Fields. The staff is very friendly, it was clean and comfortable, and they serve breakfast at 6am for those families with early game times. We will definitely stay here again.
