Great place at the best location! Just be aware that parking is extra, not a big deal and runs around 20 bucks per day which is not bad given the location. Parking is crazy expensive anywhere beach related. The bed was great and AC cold as a fridge. Highly recommended and priced right. For those commenting on the remodel; the main lobby is almost completed. Not a big deal. Easy to walk anywhere here. Downstairs are a nice Mexican taco and ice cream shop.

Extremely convenient hotel that is right on the Broadwalk in Hollywood Beach. Lobby is beautifully remodeled with complimentary coffee all day and a little dining nook that looks out over the broadwalk and beach. Property's common areas were very clean. Our room smelled strongly of cleaning supplies the first day but other than that, was great. Very comfortable beds and linens and large towels. The only small annoyance were the trash cans in the room and bathroom. They were tiny. There was a lovely fresh smell throughout the lobby and stairwell - I recommend the Hotel Sheldon use that same scent in the rooms - it's top notch!

The property is still being renovated. The rooms are neat and clean. Right on the beach. No food amenities on property as of yet. The rooms have microwave and fridge, but no coffee maker. Lobby staff nice. I think when it is finished it will be okay.

Great location! Hollywood Beach Boardwalk and the ocean is right out your door. Price is relatively cheap, but perhaps it’s because they have minimal services— lobby receptionist but no concierge, no restaurant, no laundry, etc. But if you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay while you soak up the sun, this is the place.

If you have loud or many kids I wouldn’t exactly recommend as it’s an inside hotel and some people may complain. Other than that the location is great & staff is very nice. Elevator broke down so we had to carry all luggage down the steps, but that could happen anywhere to anybody at anytime. O

First and foremost, walking to our room, I’ve never smelt a cleaner hotel in my life. Our room was nice and clean. We were staying in this hotel before Hurricane Milton came though. Being from Kentucky, we didn’t think it would be safe to ride out the storm or take the chance of getting stranded because our kids were at home. Without hesitation, they refunded us the days we didn’t stay at the hotel. We’ve been to Hollywood Beach numerous times and when we go back, we will be staying here not only for the cleanliness but for the thoughtfulness when we were scared we wouldn’t make it back home in time for our children.

The room fridge had the previous guest food still in it, and one of the pillows had a mysterious brown streak on it. I had the pillows changed out. The room obviously was not cleaned properly. The location was perfect, walkable to a bunch of local restaurants and shops.

The bed was wonderful. The view was incredible! It was difficult to find out where to check in. Parking was a trek due to weather. There was mold on the ceiling above the shower. The bath ceiling had been repaired many times. Beware! The hot water in the shower is scalding hot! Nice closet space, room came with 2 chairs and an umbrella for the beach. It was mid 40’s and misting rain. No beach time! Available restaurants were way overpriced!

Smelled very odd throughout lobby and in individual rooms. Also the hotel room itself leaves a crack all surrounding the outline of the door, so when others get home from their night it is as if they are inside your room in terms of sound and light.

Staff at the desk was a bit rude. Cockroach crawled on me while I was sleeping, flushed it in the toilet. The painting fell off the wall while I was asleep, of course I woke up. Bad luck I guess. But besides that a nice modern clean hotel in a beautiful location.

Most of the staff were very friendly(night desk was not), the location is the absolute best part of the property, the rooms were clean and would be cleaned as often or as little as you like. Chairs and umbrella & beach towels provided, broom and dustpan in the room, we had a microwave, small fridge, coffee pot and coffee bar is available in the lobby. There is a safe in the closet and black out blinds. The worst part was the uncomfortable bed and the light that comes in around the entire door at night. If you are light sensitive at night, I recommend a sleep mask to block out the light and it was very easy to hear noise in the hall and other rooms, however, the noise level seemed to be fairly low after 10.

What a great little gem. We booked this property because we wanted a beach front hotel with a view from our room and walkable to coffee shops/ beach. Parking was a breeze, check in was great. The lobby isn’t anything fancy, and is undergoing some Reno’s it appears which is fine. The elevator/ hallways are blah BUT the room was wonderful. Beautiful view from our room, great size tv, good shower, clean. The beach chairs and umbrella, and coffee machine in the room were a wonderful surprise. I recommend this to anyone not looking for anything fancy but wants to be close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops. We walked the whole boardwalk. It was wonderful. Great value hotel. No amenities but wonderfully clean and welcoming.

This was a very pleasurable stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was also very clean and comfortable. I have one complaint and I hope the owner reads this. We went with five couples, and we all made reservations at the same time and paid the same amount. When we got there, I was assigned a room that was probably half the size of two of the other couples rooms. I have never been in a hotel room this small. There was literally no place to put any toiletries. There was no place to put the suitcases to empty them or when they were empty to store them. The closet was a joke. The bathroom was so small that when you sat on the toilet, your knees touched the wall in front of you. I cannot believe that They would rent this room out for the same price of the other rooms. I was going to complain to the manager, but I decided to suck it up because two of the other couples I went with had the same small rooms. I will go back to this hotel, but I will not ever stay in one of the tiny rooms again. Please make sure when you go there to look at your room before you take the key. Other than that, the stay was great.

Right in the middle of Hollywood beach broadwalk. Beach was a minute from hotel. Hotel gave you two beach chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach. Clean rooms, Location is what makes me recommend this hotel. Live bands down the street five minute walk. restaurants and a few shops. Bathroom was very small with no shelves or hooks anywhere. But if you just want a clean place to lay your head at night this is great location wise. Everything else is just average

Highly recommend! Very comfortable. Pros: On the boardwalk. You are on the beach. Cons: There are 2 oceanfront Balconys and only a metal railing separtating the 2. But still would get the balcony room everytime!

husbands wallet stolen FROM OUR ROOM while we stepped out for breakfast.Police was called. I insisted on going up with a friend while maid checked the room, which had already been moved into. While taking the elevator back down another employee was in the elevator and the maid asked her what she was doing and she sarcastically said "helping you look for the wallet" and rolled her eyes. I held my cool for about 3 seconds and said that i didnt appreciate her making a joke about it. His ID. Cash, credit cards were all in his wallet and we were leaving the next day for a cruise. The first girl told me that was the third "lost" wallet that week. The wallet was there when we left, but gone when we got back from breakfast. Front desk wouldn't show the camera that was pointed towards our room during the time frame we and the officer asked for, she said we were being rude and didnt appreciate it. She showed it for 15 mins AFTER the time we needed to see. Officer defended us stating we actually were NOT being rude, we were upset because all husbands stuff was missing. We knew the time frame and she wouldnt show us the camera. No warrent so we couldnt push that. The manager was called and (i heard this too because we were right beside the officer while he spoke to her) she told him she didnt know what the big deal was, we could just get new cards and ID. This was our third time of staying here but i have never felt more betrayed or violated by a staff as i have from this staff.

The location was superb, right on the broadwalk on the beach. Patricia was very helpful when our plane was delayed by weather. The hotel provided beach umbrella and beach chairs which were great and handy to have.

It was a nice little hotel on the boardwalk. Clean. Anais at the front desk - very nice and answered all my questions upon arrival and there after. Very pleasant hospitality.
It was a nice little hotel on the boardwalk. Clean. Anais at the front desk - very nice and answered all my questions upon arrival and there after. Very pleasant hospitality.

Arrived on an overnight flight. Room wasn’t ready but Tiffany at the front desk was so welcoming. She stored our luggage and provided us with a place to change clothes along with beach chairs and umbrellas to go sit on the beach to wait for our room. We had such a relaxing day on the beach. Multiple bars nearby to get drinks from and beautiful sand to chill out on. After check in we got to our very good room. Only thing keeping it from great was that the bathroom was very small. Other than that the room was big and we had a beachfront view to die for. Restaurants nearby were all good. I really couldn’t recommend this place enough. There was noise outside which should be expected but we were so tired we slept right through it all. Again, Tiffany was more than gracious and gave us everything we needed for a great one night stay before cruising out of Everglades port.

I recently stayed here and I must say, it was an experience I would not wish on anyone. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel is not living up to its advertised standards!!!!!! First and foremost, the staff interactions were far from welcoming. There was an overwhelming sense of indifference from the employees. The front entrance was supposedly under construction, but it appeared that no real work was being done. This gave a very unprofessional and neglected impression right from the start. The rooms were not only outdated but also dirty. To make matters worse, the walls were paper-thin, providing zero privacy. I could hear every conversation from neighboring rooms, which made it impossible to relax. As for amenities, there were virtually none to speak of. The only “perks” were some cheap beach towels and the hotel’s location on the strip, which is hardly enough to justify a stay here. I paid for hotel parking at the hotel’s nearby lot, and upon returning, I found boots on my rental car!!! The attendant explained that hotel Sheldon’s staff must have forgotten to submit it to his log!!! Thankfully, I had my receipt, and he was able to remove the boots and cancel the tow truck. However, when I brought this issue to the attention to the next hotel shift attendant there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Instead, I was told to come back in the morning to speak with a manager, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Disappointing!!!

The staff was amazing! Anise (not sure of spelling) was so great, she got us checked in early. The place is older but clean, they’re doing some updating! You walk out of lobby and you’re on the beach/boardwalk. Close to airport. Lots of dining and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently stayed at the Hotel Sheldon and had a great experience. We Got to the hotel early, our room wasn’t ready but the staff was very nice and gave us a parking pass, which was included in our reservation directed us to the lot which was less then a block away. After we parked they let us use some beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. The staff took down our phone number and called us about an hour later to let us know our room was ready. The room was updated and had a small walk in closet with a safe, a mini kitchen with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee machine. There were also beach chairs and an umbrella in the room to use. The bathroom was updated and very clean. We did not get an ocean view room, but still had a nice view of the intercoastal and A1A from our third floor window The location is excellent, right on the Hollywood boardwalk, just steps from the beach, next door to Margaritaville and walking distance to a number of other restaurants and shops. I’ve stayed at two other Hollywood boardwalk hotels recently and each charged additional fees for parking and beach chair rentals, one even had a secret resort fee. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Hollywood and I will definitely stay there again. Thank you Hotel management and staff!

Fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff. Gave great recommendations for places to get a good bakery breakfast and Argentine grill dinner. Also got us a taxi to cruise port. Doing some Reno’s, but honestly does not take away from the charm of the hotel. Will stay there again especially as they provide everything for a day on the beach right outside the doors.

Hotel was undergoing a renovation in the lobby, so it looked like a mini construction zone, but did not diminish the excellent service and location this hotel has to offer. We had a room overlooking the ocean and the only issue we noticed (and it wasn't that big of a deal) was it can be a little noisy if there are crowds on the broadwalk. Although, that location also makes it great for views and people watching. Will definitely stay here next time we visit.

The hotel has an excellent location, right on the beach. Staff are friendly and competent. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella are provided. Good value for the area. Only problem was the incredibly loud music from the yogurt store. It made opening our front window an unpleasant experience. If you don’t mind ear-splitting music all day from 10am to 12pm, this is a great place. Not for us, which is a shame since everything else was wonderful

This is a good little hotel along the beach strip of popular hotels. I like the smaller, less noisy and crowded feel of this hotel. They have 2 chairs and an umbrella available for guests. I like that bc most hotels will charge you $100/day for those things. It’s nice to go right out to the beach or walk along the strip. Giorgio’s across the street away from the beach was the best restaurant within walking distance.

Great location! Hollywood Beach Boardwalk and the ocean is right out your door. Price is relatively cheap, but perhaps it’s because they have minimal services— lobby receptionist but no concierge, no restaurant, no laundry, etc. But if you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay while you soak up the sun, this is the place.

The hotel location is excellent. The beach, shops, restaurants, and entertainment are all very close. Our room was very clean and the ocean view was beautiful. Our room had been recently updated, and it appeared other updates were in progress. We arrived early and the staff held our bags until our room was ready so we could enjoy the area. There were beach chairs and an umbrella in our closet for use, as well as beach towels in the lobby. Coffee and a hot/cold water dispenser were available in the lobby throughout the day. Although the room was updated, the mattress was firm and on the thinner side. I slept well, but would have preferred a more plush mattress. We would definitely stay again.

The staff were polite and the location is awesome, but there is no way to get sand off from the beach. And over the 3 night stay, we ended up having to request clean towels bc there was 0 room service. Thankfully they provide a broom and dust pan in each room. It was awesome that they also provide beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels.
