The hotel in general was good. My only complaint is that the south entrance card reader did not work and as a result, I had to walk all the way around to the north entrance just to be able to get to my room. That was a bit inconvenient, but other than that, my stay was good.

First red flag is when we arrived the parking lot was filled with huge pot holes and broken concrete. It was very difficult to maneuver the luggage cart without our luggage falling off due to the wheels hitting the broken concrete. Unfortunately, this was just the start of the problems that we encountered. Our room was filthy dirty. The carpet was stained, pet hair on the desk chair, stains on the fabric chair, shower tile had mold in it, toilet seat was ready to fall off, and hair on the bathroom floor! When I went down to the lobby to voice a complaint I witnessed approximately 30 bugs swarming all over the floor in the lobby. To say the least our experience was highly upsetting. This hotel should be condemned.

Only one elevator made for extremely long wait time. The staff worked very hard to make everything pleasant but were defeated in their attempts by a very dated hotel that is in desperate need of renovation.

The entire property was ran down. From potholes in the parking lot, to the stained carpet throughout the hallways, to the dirty rooms. The staff was even being stingy with linen. I requested 2 flat sheets for the couch for my daughter and was told only one sheet is allowed. If it had not been for the power outage at our home i would have left and went without a refund. I highly do not recommend.

The price and size of room are good. Breakfast was fine. But you get what you pay for. The door knob to the bathroom was broken, mini fridge door didn't close all the way, an outlet was missing the cover plate, several light switches didn't do anything. But worst was that the pool wasn't working. We only book a hotel with a pool as we have little kids. So to get there and have that missing as a part of our family trip isn't acceptable. Notice should be made to those who have reservations that major amenities are no longer in service. Would spend a little more next time for somewhere else.

Had a room for four people had two sets of towels. Pool was cloudy when it was open and was closed all together on one night. I won’t go back. Seems like a poor renovation was done. Elevator floor looks like it was glued on and not very neat looking. Not worth the money.

Pool was NOT heated, hitel knew o booked room with 5 kids. Only reason i got room as xmas gift for kids to be able to swim as website stated. It wouldve been nice if someone mentioned it when I called asking about day prior. Front desk confirmed maintenance was aware of issue and claimed pool maybe warm. It was freezing cold period! My 2 older kids toughed it out, the youngest two didnt. Sole reason i got room, manager supposed to assist this AM. We\'ll see if the issue gets resolved to enjoy actual "heated" pool.

I plan on sending a letter to Holiday Inn about the run down condition of this hotel. We had to go to the front desk each day because towels, bath mat, toilet paper, and/or body wash was not in the room or refilled. One front desk person said she couldn’t give us towels. Later we saw the laundry room was right behind the front desk. It wasn’t locked up so she could have given us towels. I have pictures of the horrible condition of our room and the stained carpet in the hallway. I forgot to take pictures of the outdoor seating you couldn’t sit in because it was broken. The shower liner was so crooked that you tripped on it while taking a shower. There are no grab bars in the shower to help assist an older person. The Holiday Inn name use to assure you of a reasonably priced and clean experience. This place was neither. If I could give negative stars that would be too many.

The bed was comfortable but the property is tired. The bathroom had a lot of mold in the shower and the shower curtain was all moldy along the bottom. No hand towels, no additional roll of toilet paper and the body soap was empty in the shower. Would definitely not stay here again.

Bedbugs. Ruined our experience traveling with a family of 5. The room itself was quite spacious but it had a funny odor to it. Bedbugs discovered second night in with itch all over our bodies. Moved hotels immediately after finding bugs crawling around the room. Very inconvenient experience. Worth spending the money somewhere else more comfortable and clean.

I planned an occasion for my wife and I to have fun over the weekend and decided to pick this location to spend the night in. We thought it would be clean like the one in Troy/ auburn hills Detroit. We were wrong! We had to switch king rooms twice. It would’ve been 3x’s but it was already late. Besides the receptionist had limited powers to make decisions. For the hotel. I paid with a debit card card and it would’ve had taken too many days for a refund along with Tim wasn’t on our side to pick another hotel close by. HI asked to speak with a manager and I was told that one wouldn’t be in until Monday, it was Saturday. . Both rooms were not clean. Especially both bathrooms. It was hair in the tub and sink a gyms shoe print on the shower floor. The pillows smelled as if they were just flipped over. Etc. the receptionist could only offer a 10% discount ($11) dollars off of the total bill. I wasn’t looking for a free stay . Monday came around and no call from the manager that was supposed to call me back. At least for an apology. But No! I will never stay there let alone recommend anyone to stay there especially if they are from out of town.😡🙂‍↔️

Stayed in a suite that had dirty carpet stains, the cable went out on both TVs and the king bed broken springs. They ran out of clean towels due to not enough staff. The desk rep was very professional and did her best to make any accommodations. Location is very convenient but they need to put a little work in to make it a better place because it has potential.

This was an below average hotel property for Holiday Inn, because you can hear guests foot steps from above floor; it just seems the hotel floors are ply wood, bot concrete as other hotels i have stayed at. Every step you take is a stomp sound: too much noise pollution due to structural building. Only way i will return is if its a free stay. If your a heavy sleeper, then its a good fit for you. Front reception staff is friendly. Thank you.

Weekend stay with late check in was all good. Staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we walked through the door. Our room was clean, spacious and the only complaint was that our desk lamp didnt work which made that area of the room a little dark and difficult to work in and our key didnt work on the blds side door outside so we got new keys after night one. . The hotel itself was quiet, near shopping/dinning/attractions. All in all a pleasant stay and would recommend/ stay again.

The first room they gave us, it had an active water leak coming down from the ceiling. The second room they moved us to, the shower did not have a liner on the curtain so whenever we used the shower half of the water would be on the floor. The toilet seat was broken, the TV had no signal. Overall the staff were very friendly but the actual location needs to remodel.

Upon arrival, I thought the hotel looked very nice and updated. I had a long wait to check in due to a customer dispute during her check in. I got in the room and there was a used wash cloth hanging in the shower, no conditioner or lotion in the attached container. I booked for 5 people, I had 3 towels, I called the front desk and went down there a total of 3 times asking for more towels, but NEVER received them. I unfolded the pullout couch and there were multiple large stains. No sheet blanket or pillow to use for that. I called down and only received a pillow due to no extra sheets or blankets. The sink in the kitchenette backed up and I was unable to get it to go down. Paid $50.00 damage deposit on Friday, now Monday and haven't received it back yet.

Great stay, a little disappointed in that location. It’s our second time staying there and both times we had issues with check in of our rooms. The first time we were not able to check in until about 3 hours after check in time and this time the type of room we booked was overbooked, so we weren’t able to get the room we had booked. We love the Holiday Inn Express chain. We stay at them quite often. Just disappointing check ins back to back at the same location. Great hotel and great staff otherwise.

The hotel overbooked. They called and stated that they knew the day before my stay that they were overbooked and waited until we were 30 minutes away from checking in to say sorry you don't have a room, find another hotel. Did nothing to help find us a room elsewhere or anything. Was very rude and uncaring that they left us high and dry and couldn't have cared less that we had nowhere to stay. This happened to us before at another brand hotel and once we had arrived at check-in they called all local hotels in the area, found us a room which was an upgrade from what we had booked from them and they got it for a cheaper rate for us. Will definitely not use this Holiday Inn Express. We came from 6.5 hrs away to find we had no room and could find nothing available for our budget in the area at all.

Somehow, my reservation got canceled. I made the reservation same day. The front desk person did an amazing job of reinstating my reservation. I had a confirmation number and receipt of payment. Easy location. Right next to sams club. Quick & smooth check in. Clean room. Very cold due to the air being on but the window was wide open. I did tell the front desk. Because anyone could just jump out. Beds were too soft. Just uncomfortable. Pillows had feathers coming out. Felt like needles sticking you in the head. Haha But overall it was quite and relaxing.

My stay here was enjoyable...nice & quiet I had the King Jacuzzi Suite the space was nice 2 TV's a sitting room little work area kitchenette bathroom had shower 🚿 bathtub combo the Jacuzzi was back where the bedroom area is & also television 2 🛏️ was so comfy location was good right off the freeway lots of restaurants around...hot breakfast in the morning 7-10a coffee eggs pastry sausage cereal milk juice waffles toast nice selection will stay here again

I normally do not submit reviews, however, this property hit a different nerve during this stay. We selected Holiday Inn over other options within the area for their known reputation—this property does not uphold to normal standards. There were cobwebs in every corner, ants in the bathroom and a giant spider (that had been there for quite some time) taking up residency in the bathroom. Dead beetles lay in corners and the ceiling/walls were severely damaged. The breakfast was not great either—as the pancake machine and coffee were both on empty and regardless of staff standing there—were not taken care of. At 5:30 am, someone above us (as we were on the bottom floor) ran around their room from 5:30-6:45 am. I am not complaining about the movement of people but suggesting that something be done to help aid in the noise transmissions throughout the hotel.

The negative reviews I saw really surprised me. My room was updated, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Central location to what I needed. Many places within walking distance also. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast both mornings was hot, fresh, and delicious.

There were parts of the hotel that was run down and it was evident - repairs to the baseboards. Parts of breakfast were cold, they ran out of yogurt before 8am, pancake machine was broken.
