very clean hotel and the staff was extremely friendly. lots of places to eat in walking distance of the hotel which was nice. very disappointing that the pool wasn’t working being that it’s the middle of the summer. part of the reason we picked this hotel was because it had a pool so that was a disappointment. breakfast was also not the greatest.

Room was too small for the amount and size of the furniture. There was a chaise preventing easy access to one side of the bed and the desk had a useless tier above it encroaching on room space. The parking lot was extremely tight with no turn around. You had to drive down a row and if there were no vacant spots, as it was twice during my stay, you had to back out and try another row (repeating the process if that row was full.

The hotel was very nice but, picked this hotel because the other hotels pool I was considering was shut down for a month. When we got back to our room the next day, after our beach outing and wanted to go to the pool, it was closed because the pump went out overnight!!

The only thing nice about the hotel was people are very friendly but everything else is a disaster. From 10:00 pm to who knows there is no hot water, part of the carpet is piled, the faucet was clogged, the breakfast always was dry, like eggs, sausage, biscuits etc. One night we came and they was no parking space. The pool was dirty with bugs. Like I said people are friendly but the hotel needs some TLC.

The staff and the service is excellent. While I was able to park every time I came back to the hotel, I have the impression that parking may be limited. The morning breakfast and the swimming pool is excellent. I was given a room with a shower designed for wheel chair use. When the shower was used it often spread water across the rest of the bathroom area. While I see these rooms as necessary for people who need them, they should not be given to people who do not need them. So far this year I have stayed in this hotel for about five weeks. The hotel delivers reliable quality and an affordable price. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean.

I have bad asthma, so one can’t go by me! But the minute I walked in, i smelled a musty, mildewy, damp smell!! My room had a dehumidifier that was overflowing and wasn’t empty! I started coughing and sneezing and having respiratory issues! They changed my room and I spent the night in a different room, but in the morning i was wheezing and had to leave the hotel! The staff was absolutely wonderful, they tried really hard to help me !! I can’t say enough good things about the kind helpful staff! But unfortunately i can never stay in this hotel again!! The air quality is just awful

The property was just off the Interstate and very conveniently located. It was quiet and the front desk staff were nice. However, we did see a cockroach on one of our room walls and also centipede in the bathroom!!

Friendly staff. Very nice beds and always very clean towels. Room was very nice, clean bathroom, but the carpet was soo dirty that our feet would get soo dark it was nasty. We though it was our shoes, but nope it was the carpet.

This place is bare bones and I mean BARE bones. I would not stay here again. It’s dirty, the window shade had moth holes in it. The bathroom door lock was broken, the shower had mold stains, and there was a random beer can under the “couch”.

The hotel was slammed after hurricane Milton so it was sold out every night with displaced locals and work crews from all over. The hotel has a lot of deferred maintenance and isn't very clean. The room was decent and the bed was comfortable. Just an older hotel and not very well cared for. Located in an area with quick access to major roads.

The hotel is older but has been renovated. Everything was comfortable and generally clean. There was mildew on the caulking around the shower. Breakfast is generally what you would expect in a Holiday Inn with hot items. These vary from day to day so you don't have to eat the same thing every morning. The staff, particularly Audrey, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They have a Keurig coffee maker in the room, which is great for a good cup first thing in the morning. Coffee in the dining room is even better, fresh ground! All in all a good and comfortable stay.

Was slightly hesitant due to reading a few reviews about bugs but decided to book. We stayed 2 nights without issue. The carpet was a little dirty/stained, but we just wore house shoes. Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable and clean. No bugs seen. Breakfast was alright, could’ve been worse or better. Checkout was fine. Would stay again.

The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. But there were a few things I didn’t quite like. There was an awful smell in the elevator and hallways. The first room I was assigned didn’t smell great, but the second one smelled fine. Also unlike other Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at, the rooms didn’t have a privacy screen that allowed light inside the room. It only had the black out screen. If I had stayed on the first floor, I would have needed the black out curtain down all the time for privacy which is not ideal.

Good stay. Main complaint is that they have the motion sensored thermostats and after being gone all day to the hot beach, we returned to a hot room also. Temp was set at 74. So it took some time to cook back down.

Far from a comfortable stay! First room I was assigned gradually got hotter and hotter. Tried to call the front desk and the phone wouldnt work. Tried calling the hotel from my cell phone and the line wouldn’t connect after following the prompts. Went to the lobby to switch rooms. The front desk agent was not kind at all. Seemed to be bothered about my request when I explained the ac and phone issue. Cut me off as I was telling her about trying to call on my phone. Rude… got to my next room which was very cool but had a horrendous stench! Went back down to the lobby, met with annoyance again by the agent and switched me again. The final room was cool and had a better scent but still not a fresh one. Mattress was very pilly, no pad, pillows had no support at all! And worse, the walls are so insanely thin I could hear every single thing my neighbor did. Blowing his nose, microwaving food, talking on the phone, belching peeing…. All of it!! Will not stay here again!!!

Rooms not as spacious as place next door that we stay normally. Lady that ran breakfast area was very rude-I poured some drink down what I thought was a drain (area under where drinks come out) so that I didn’t dump a cup full of liquid in the trash bag of trash can and she literally yelled at me-I’m a grown adult and she yelled at me as if I was a child.

When I arrived at the hotel, I had to mail a card for a family member’s birthday. The General Manager, Tonya, helped me to do and went out of her way to ensure my card got mailed out in time. When I checked out of the hotel I left my necklace in the room and Tonya went out of her way to quickly check on my necklace and immediately responded to me and made certain my necklace was mailed out to me that day. Tonya and the other staff are very helpful!

Our room was very clean and could not hear a lot of outside noise. Staff was amazing!! Front desk representative Chad was awesome and gave us info on local restaurants and activities only known to locals. Chad told us about a drum circle and dancers on the beach that we were able to watch and was a great experience. Breakfast was great and had long hours. Hotel was clean and not to far from town. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was so disappointing the minute we walked in the lobby Your night guy at the service desk couldn't break a smile if you paid him. And of course wasn't happy that he had to put his phone away and get up off the couch to help us. Had no answer as to why one of my daughter's rooms was not listed SO she had to pay for another one just to get in and relax. His answer "You'll have to take this up with a manager in the morning. I don't know" In other words "Fend for yourselves folks"!!! Upon entering the room she notice the sheet were dirty so they moved her to another room where the air conditioner didn't work so the moved the AGAIN! Still HAD paid for 5rooms when I reserved 4 which was ALL I needed. I would have left in the first 5 minutes if I wasn't about to lose my money which would have amounted to approx. $2,900 /we will never ever stay at this lace again and my travel agent was the first to know> NOW I have to write letters to your executive people to get my money returned for the the 5th room that went UNUSED!!!!!

I was looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay on my road trip to Miami. This Holiday Inn was right off the freeway and easy to check in. It was a great place to get a good nights sleep and even a quick workout in the gym in the morning. Definitely recommend!

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Venice was perfect! All of the employees we spoke with were super friendly and welcoming. Check in was very quick and smooth. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was the perfect start to the morning. And again the staff was great and sooo friendly. The location in perfect youre close to everything without having to be stuck in those super busy areas. They also have a couple restaurants in walking distance. Perfect stay

There were no washcloths available. It was suggested we use a hand towel instead. Breakfast was disappointing. The bowl of oranges had moldy and totally shriveled up oranges in it. When I called it to the attendant's attention, he said I'll check it our but continued looking in his phone. The attendant was not wearing plastic gloves.

Pool was small & had lots of leaves. No waffles. Pancake maker out of order AC in our room stopped working & had to move to another room. We were given credit for inconvenience We had to wait 55 minutes on arrival for room to be ready.

We loved the coffee that was made by the staff in the breakfast area. The Costa machines that made coffee were not good. Too strong and not very good tasting. Really liked how nice the staff were.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. Excellent free breakfast in the morning, I just feel it should start earlier then 7am for us early risers. Convenient to beaches and downtown Venice. I would stay here again.

The only thing nice about the hotel was people are very friendly but everything else is a disaster. From 10:00 pm to who knows there is no hot water, part of the carpet is piled, the faucet was clogged, the breakfast always was dry, like eggs, sausage, biscuits etc. One night we came and they was no parking space. The pool was dirty with bugs. Like I said people are friendly but the hotel needs some TLC.

Breakfast is generally what you would expect in a Holiday Inn with hot items. These vary from day to day so you don't have to eat the same thing every morning. The staff, particularly Audrey, were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They have a Keurig coffee maker in the room, which is great for a good cup first thing in the morning. Coffee in the dining room is even better, fresh ground! All in all a good and comfortable stay.

The staff are helpful but this property is going through a renovation and have their supplies sitting in the parking lot. Our room was not the best, the carpet needs a deep cleaning, there were things broken, hole in the wall, and the shower floor needs to be scrubbed really well. The breakfast was ok with enough selections that my kids were happy. The pool is well maintained and nice.
