The staff was attentive and courteous, but unfortunately the hotel itself feels very outdated and poorly maintained. The room had several noticeable issues: towels with frayed edges, a stained carpet, holes in the curtains, beds that were far too small, dated furniture, and an old television with no Bluetooth or AirPlay connectivity. Overall, the room did not meet the standard one would expect from a Barceló property. The parking experience was also unnecessarily frustrating. Even after prepaying, the ticket did not work at the exit machine, making it impossible to leave with the car without additional assistance. After so many years in operation, the hotel clearly needs a significant renovation and stronger attention to maintenance. In its current condition, it feels more like a basic three-star hotel than the level of quality guests may expect from this brand.
