I was worried at first after reading some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was always friendly and happy to help. We could smell our room has been freshly painted. It was a good sized room as far as Parisian standards. Breakfast was good and varied. Being next to Gare de L'Est, we brought ear plugs expecting a bit of noise. I recommend people do this. Location made it very convenient to get around the city. Only problem was that only one of the lifts were working, which is a problem when everyone is using them. But I would definitely stay here again.

Centralt ved Gare l’Est og tæt på Nord. Vi brugte dog hverken metro eller tog, da vi hellere ville opleve Paris til fods. Let slidt hotel og uden den store komfort. Fx. ingen stole på værelset. Udmærket badeværelse med karbad, der også var der, man douchede. Karret var glat at stå i og man måtte derfor være ekstra forsigtig, når man trådte ud. Dejlige senge - sov fantastisk, glimrende aircondition. Lidt støj fra banegården, men slet ikke generende. Fantastisk udsigt fra værelset på 5. sal over banegården og Paris. Hurtig elevator. Aldrig kø. Brandalarmen gik 4 ud af de 7 nætter mellem kl. 04.00 og 06.00, hvilket var både utrygt og højst irriterende. Klagede i receptionen, der undskyldte og sagde, det var et problem i køkkenet, der udløste den, men hvad hjælper det??? Dejlig morgenmad uden alt det varme (bacon, æg osv.). Rigtig lækkert brød. Der var også en vandautomat, hvor man kunne tanke drikkevand i sine flasker.

Avoid if possible. The hotel has a very convenient location and if you are on the top floors facing the station, a great view; however, this is not a hotel to the high standards Ibis delivers everywhere else. The building is run down, old, dirty carpets, you can find rubbish in corridors, just one lift working, etc. On top of that we had water coming down the A/c by the door that damped the carpet, were moved to another room and didn’t have a working A/c, finally ended up on the 8th floor in a better room, still you could see pipes installations in the bathroom and noise all night long. We didn’t have good nights sleep here. Breakfast was good (typical French and nice to start the day) As I said it is convenient to take trains from Gare de l’Est station for days out from Paris, nothing else. Hopefully Ibis will work to bring this hotel to their standards or just take away your brand from it as expectations were very high for what we found

I picked this hotel for convenience as it was close to the concert I was attending, but it was a bit fawlty towers to be honest. Receptionist possibly new as didn’t really know what to do, and no personality or friendliness- ladies at an Ibis Styles in Bordeaux were exceptionally good. Lift didn’t work. And I was having a rest when someone just entered my room! It was very hot weather so it’s a good job I wasn’t starkers! And I know it was near / next to a train station but Jesus H Christ I think my room vibrated, maybe I could have slept better if the pillows weren’t the worst pillows I’ve ever put my head on. At least the room was stylish and clean so it wasn’t all bad

I was pleased that my room had a bathtub. However, there was hair stuck to the bath which indicates poor cleaning. It was very hard to change from filling up the bathtub to use the shower head. There was no door to the wardrobe and no hangers. So disappointed because my last ibis experience was in Prague and there it was a great experience.

L’hôtel en général a été une déception. La chambre était très sale. Une couche d’enfant se trouvait sous nos commodes. Il a fallu qu’on se plaigne à la réception pour qu’ils puissent nous amener des coussins et changer nos draps (chose qui devrait être fait en temps normal). Les serviettes ne se faisaient pas changer, les murs sont tachés. Les fenêtres étaient insalubres et j’en passe. La seule chose sur laquelle nous ne pouvons pas nous plaindre est l’accueil chaleureux du personnel. Du début à la fin ils étaient souriants et courtois. Au niveau du service à la clientèle, c’est un 10/10. Au niveau de la propreté, c’est à revoir…

The location so close to the metropolitana and buses. The breakfast was good, good choise and wide enough. In general right value for money. The room a little bit small. The cleaness level basic, Moquette everywhere leaves me perplexe from an hygenic point of view. Guys working there both at the reception and in the breakfast room nice and always smiling.

Mi habitación no tenía buen aire acondicionado, se metieron los moscos horrible y el piso 4 huele a limpiador de pisos. También estaban reparando ese piso y eso se debe avisar o compensar. Si tienen el sueño ligero no se hospeden ahí ya que al lado está la estación de trenes.

Room was nothing like the image of the property. The rooms are painted black, not orange so seemed very dark and dingy. The room air conditioning didn't work. We were told that the hotel doesn't turn on the air conditioning units until the month of July (This was Not stated when booking!!). We were offered a fan, which helped a little, but was generally blowing hot air around the room.(average daily temp was hitting around 26 degrees!!) On numerous days, the towels were not changed, and the towel rail had no heating, so it was horrendous having to use tiny towels. The noise from the tannoy announcement system at the train station behind the building was so loud, you couldn't open the window. We had the train station announcement jingle stuck in our heads for the entirety of the stay! It's not the fault of the hotel, but there are large numbers of the homeless in this area, so it generally stinks of sour urine, and when it's a really sunny day, the stench is unbearable. It's safe to say, this was not a great experience of the hotel and i have already advised anyone who asked about our trip and this location to avoid it at all costs.

This is a nice, no frills hotel. We arrived in Paris late in the evening and just needed somewhere for a night. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well and the breakfast was perfectly fine.

Room generally well kept but basin plug wasn't working. Desk and stool too small to be much use. Clothes hanging space has room for a safe which would be useful. Lighting a bit poor if you're using the desk.

Viaje en familia con dos niños. Habitación muy cómoda y muy amplia con mesa de comedor y cuartito para ropero y meter maletas. Desayuno sin comida caliente pero muy bueno y rico. Personal muy amable. Supermercados muy cerca y boca de metro a 50 metros del hotel.

THIS WAS THE WORST STAY EVER. We have booked a family room but upon check-in there were no rooms available so they have to split us into two tiny rooms. The front desk clerk refused to speak in english with us and I was luck I knew some french. Staff was always rude and unfriendly. We payed the whole stay at check-in and did not had any extra charges due. A couple days later the hotel charged my credit card I used to make my reservation, which was different from the one I paid the hotel charges, almost 500 USD extra. I tried to call the hotel many times, sent emails and never got a response back from them. Some of the calls I made they put me on hold for almost an hour. I still don’t have a resolution for this and I had to contact my credit card company to help with this dispute. IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SCAMMED DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.

I stayed at Ibis Styles Paris Gare de l’Est and had one of the most stressful hotel experiences I’ve ever had. At midnight, the wall-mounted hairdryer in my room overheated dangerously and could not be unplugged. The staff on duty (temporary hire) managed to contact the manager, but the only “solution” offered was to give me tape to cover it. Despite my concerns about a potential fire hazard, I was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing else could be done. Shockingly, they even asked me what I wanted to do about it, instead of taking responsibility for guest safety. To make things worse, at 7am the next morning, the fire alarm went off for no reason. There was no explanation, no apology, and no reassurance from staff. While the temporary staff tried their best within their limits, the management’s response to safety concerns was unacceptable. I’ve stayed in many hotels before, but I’ve never experienced such disregard for guest safety and comfort. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Check in was fine, and the room was reasonably clean. The television and one bed side lamp wasn't working. Breakfast was standard. When checking out the receptionist implied that I didn't pay the city tax when I checked in. I had paid the city tax by bank card and I showed it to her via my banking app. I was then accused of paying the city tax to the wrong Ibis hotel!! No, I would not stay at this hotel again.

We arrived at our hotel about an hour before check in, so our room was bot ready, we left our bags and went about our visit to paris. We ended up getting back to the hotel around 11pm. Myself my wife and 2 young children. We checked in and headed to our room, only to be greated by someone fast asleep in our bed. We headed back down to reception amd eventually were given another room. Now i can only assume that the family rooms were all booked as this room was definitely not a room regularly given out. The bathroom was absolutely discusting and covered in mould. The heat didnt work, nor did the plug sockets. But the kids were tired so we just went to bed as it was midnight at this point. The next morning we mentioned this to reception and they just said "oh sorry" and left. Regardless to say i would not recommend this place to anyone.

Convenient to several train and metro stations as Gare de L’Est is a few meters away, Gare de Nord is about a 5-10 minute walk and the Chateau-Landon metro is right under the hotel however none of the main tourist attractions are very close so the location of the hotel is not very easy to pop by to change if weather conditions change or to drop off any purchases.

住宿地點離地鐵只有兩分鐘，離巴黎北站走路也只有七分鐘，搭RER 進出機場都很方便。早餐品質很不錯而且選擇性佳，平價旅館算是物超所值。但是靠車站軌道那一面的房間有可能較吵，我們住臨街的一面隔音很好，非常安靜。

La proximité entre la gare de l’Est et la gare du Nord, surtout pour aller reprendre le RER-B a la Gare du Nord, pour aller a l’aeroport. On peut meme se rendre a pied a la Gare du nord. Bien situé aussi, pres d’une boiche de metro

The hotel is in a very good location. Metro station next door, bus stop on both side of the road, 10mins walk to Gare du Nord station. Easy access to town. In terms of the hotel itself, the facility is a let down. The bedroom are not spacious, no complementary hot drinks in the room. The breakfast spread is not something I was expecting. Just pastry’s, had to boil our own eggs. No chef to cater for our dietary needs. Food choice is very poor. The staff are nice and very friendly.

Hôtel très bien situé, au pied de la station métro château Landon. Gare de l'est a 5 min à pied et 10 min à pied de la gare du Nord. Personnel a l'accueil très gentil et très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix copieux. Chambre convenable, très bonne literie. Salle de bain un peu vétuste mais très bien pour un petit weekend. Je recommande tout de même cet hôtel.

Städning var bra. Rummet var också okej men badrummet är i behov av uppgradering. Lagom stort rum, relativt bekväm säng. Negativa var att personalen hälsade inte, en gång mitt i natten/tidig morgon gick brandlarmet igång utan anledning. Frukost fanns inte mycket utbud alls.
