The Raceby Hotel, Doncaster South Yorkshire, Part of the AG Collection

The rooms were in a poor state with paint missing and peeled from doors and door frames, with the same dated decor as the previous owners. I also had to go and ask for a bedside table as there were none in my room. Also there was no do not disturb type cards to hang from the doors. Around the back where my room was, there was cigarette butts and litter between the path and the grass and a strong smell of cannabis, especially in the passage near the stairs. Definitely not worth the money paid for my stay, and i shall not be using this establishment again.

Room was okay, however no working heater. Didn’t match the pictures. Looks like a motel rather than a hotel. Maybe it’ll be nicer in the summer?

Breakfast was fine, but we didn't use the spa. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff.
