Best Western Eau Claire South

Super nice hotel. Clean and modern.

New looking and nice. Very quiet at night. Wish room had been darker in the morning. No drapes, only blackout curtain. Breakfast was meh. But that’s par for the course. Would recommend and stay there again.

We traveled with our dog so had to stay in one of the dog friendly rooms, when we arrived room smelled like dog the minute we walked in and also there was blood on the floor in front of toilet. Thank god we were only staying for 1 night. Breakfast in morning, which we went at 9am was disappointing due to all food was gone except a small amount of scrambled eggs and some bagels and bread. It was suppose to be open til 9:30.

We booked a king room, but the bed in the room was definitely not a king sized bed. It was most definitely a queen. When I book a room with a king bed, I expect to get a room with a king bed. And your typical rock hard bed. There were NOT anywhere near enough parking spots for the number of rooms/guests at the hotel. Breakfast was clean and a typical hotel breakfast. Staff was not aware that this was Eau Claire Marathon race weekend. Decent price, but for how far from all the race events, I will not stay here again.

Usually stay at this hotel when I'm passing through and never had a bad night! Room is always clean, beds are comfortable and parking is good. Even close to target it's quite and not too busy.
