The motel is in a good location - just three blocks from the waterfront. There is a a nice family restaurant across the street with reasonably priced breakfast. As for the property, the outside is clean and pleasant. Parking is tight, and just adequate. Some guests will end up on the street if the motel is full. The rooms are sparse. They have beds, small tables, and a fridge. However the rooms have almost no storage, so your stuff will undoubtedly end up on the floor. The bathrooms are tiny and the showers tinier. At the risk of being hyperbolic, one needs to exit the shower to turn around. The rooms smell clean, though the floors were pretty dirty. They are swept for sure, but I recommend wearing shoes in the room. The bed was bouncy and springy. If you like sleeping on a pile of metal, it will do. The staff was courteous and helpful checking in and when we needed help with prematurely expired keys. Overall, the rooms are fine for a quick beach stay, but for the price I would expect more storage and a bit more comfort.

Nice staff, very clean rooms. Fridge and microwave is always a plus! Air worked amazing. Place is very well kept, my only complaint was the shower head was broken so water only came out of half the head. Also the water pressure was real low. Other than that was a good stay, just not much parking.

The room is very outdated and the bathroom did not match any photos advertised. There was some mystery stains/marks on the rooms interior walls and door. Dirty tile floor in the bathroom, along with the prior guest’s hair on the floor. Easy check in process but I will not be staying here again.

The photos on the Expedia looks very nice but it was totally different when you walk into the room. The room is very dirty. There is blood stain on the bed sheet. I called the property but no one answered so my husband had to go out and find the staff to get us new sheet. As soon as we put the new sheet on our bed and found out there’s another blood stain on the new sheet that we just got from the staff. Unbelievable. And the bathroom counter has lots of water stains. The shower room floor was dirty. It was a terrible experience.

Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean comfortable. Rooms have been updated. Plus the size of the room was amazing. Extra large lots of space to hang out and be comfortable. Located near walking distance of water front and stores dining on Main Street. The staff and management was very friendly and helpful. This is our new favorite place to stay.

Nice clean hotel close to the harbor, shopping and food. It is an older hotel so the walls are very thin and it is on the corner of a busy intersection so traffic noise was frustrating. We still enjoyed our stay, the staff is wonderful!

Room was newly renovated and was really nice. Unexpected window shade wiith beautiful coastal picture that served as a black out curtain as well. Coffee, toothpaste and toothbrush, along with body soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. Very friendly front desk staff and housekeeping staff. Very quiet and peaceful. A 5 minute walk to stores, restaurants and local pubs. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be going back.

I haven’t slept at all!! These walls are paper thin. Could hear every word in the room next door. Unfortunately these neighbors were up the whole night talking or arguing ( swearing non stop), plus TV was on.

Clean affordable, continental breakfast to go with in room coffee would be nice. The wall are paper thin, can hear people yelling, coughing, snoring, loud tv volume from other rooms. Bathroom sink shower had cracks. Bed had no support and foot board made loud sounds when u accidentally kicked it. Will not stay again, there are better options on the area.

I stayed at this property over the weekend because my in laws were also staying here. When I entered my room it smelled horrible of cigarettes. I opened the door and windows but after about 10 minutes I started getting a headache so I asked my sister in law to come see if something smelt weird or if it was just me. She said she could definitely smell it so I went to the front desk(mind you it had only been 10 minutes since receiving my key to the room) and the woman at the front seemed very annoyed after I explained the situation and said she was going to go smell it. She came back and said she didn’t smell anything and didn’t know why I wanted another room. I told her again it was a very strong scent. She started huffing and puffing while she checked the computer. She ended up giving me a different room but I don’t think the doubting me, being annoyed and huffing and puffing was necessary. I will not be back here next time I stay at morro.

Room was very average at best. On par for the price though, it was one of the lower cost options in downtown Morro Bay. We only stayed for 1 night and didn't need anything luxurious. It's walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, coffee. Nothing special, but not terrible either.

Very nice place, conveniently placed. A couple of bars a few blocks away. Restaurant across the street. Also to stroll to the rock and other shops on the Embarcadero is 3-4 blocks away. Looking forward to staying again

Great location 3 short blocks to the water - made my quick stay here extra perfect. The modest room was clean and pretty comfortable, and earplugs helped me sleep despite a little noise outside the building. The Hungry Fisherman diner across the street was welcoming for a quick bite before I left town.

The property lied in description they had 0 continental breakfast no air conditioning. If I knew it didn’t have these items I most likely wouldn’t have booked. Other than those items the bathroom and room was ok. Shower was awful, the beds were pretty bad too.

I was just in town for a weekend cycling event and have stayed in various other places as well. The hotel, while basic, had plenty of room as was recently updated. This was fine for my short trip. The only thing that may be better was if coffee/refreshments were offered in the morning as there was room for it but it was not being used. The location is good near the harbor and shops/restaurants
