We visit Minneapolis regularly and ALWAYS stay at Hotel Ivy. The staff is so welcoming and nice, the valet service is fantastic and worth the money, and the rooms are perfect. We love the big bathtub, the robes, and the bed is very comfortable. Couldn’t say enough good things about this hotel. It also has the best gym you could imagine in a hotel.

It was ok. The ad to book property is inaccurate when it comes to having a spa/hot tub and sauna. To utilize these services it cost $450 per person and would need to be booked prior to arrival at least 5 days. I was unable to access these details until we arrived at hotel. The soaking tub was a nice amenity to have though. Clean room. The robes were unusable as they were crispy as an old towel that has not been washed. Not fluffy. For a luxury hotel that advertised these wonderful amenities, They should have been luxury.

I was quite disappointed that there isn’t a better deal for those who just want to use the spa ammenities. You have to book a full price spa service to use the spa amenities. Not even a discount for guests? GFCI was broken in the bathroom. Be sure if you use valet, call like 15 min before (wait time was February on a Thursday imagine peak season). That’s if there is no one else is ahead of you I wouldn’t have booked my stay knowing we can’t use the spa with out paying an extra min $100 each even just for an hour. There are other hotels that have these type of amenities included.

For rating and price, I expected more from the property. There wasn’t a great seating area in the lobby. We had spa appointments and was very disappointed in the cleanliness of that area and my massage.

My room was very clean but I did have a hole in my comforter the tv remote was missing only one robe and we had no ice bucket I was somewhat taken back by theses issues but the spa was amazing

Fruit flies were flying around in the bar. Light bulbs in the bathroom didn’t work when arrived. They were replaced promptly though. I was able to adjust the temperature only upon entry the first day, was super cold. Heard someone being robbed outside across the street. Waited 2 hours for the Masa restaurant to open at 5pm after told by staff, just to google that they didn’t open until Tuesday at 5pm.

The property itself is fine. Things inside the room are getting a little beat up. I wouldn\'t necessarily rank it as "luxury". I booked my 1 King Bed Superior Room a week in advance. At check in the guy at the desk said I was booked for a queen bed. I told him I booked a King. He said he would "upgrade" me to a double queen room! I then got out my confirmation and showed him I specifically booked a king. He said he\'d "see what\'s available". After we said we\'d just cancel he then found me a king...that I had booked! Im not sure what they were trying to do but I\'ll definitely be booking elsewhere for future downtown stays.

The Hotel Ivy team went above and beyond for our 11th anniversary celebration. We were greeted with welcome drinks at check-in, and the surprise anniversary amenities in our room (cake, Prosecco, and card) were such a thoughtful touch. Dinner at Masa and Agave was excellent, with outstanding service. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. However, our experience was significantly impacted by construction noise from the floor above, starting at 7 AM with drilling, pounding, and knocking. The AC/heating unit was also quite loud. For a hotel of this caliber, and especially during a special occasion stay, the early morning construction noise was disappointing and affected our rest. That said, the staff's exceptional service and attention to detail show the hotel's true potential. We'd love to return and experience the Ivy without the construction disruption, as everything else about our stay was fantastic.

The room is large... Cieling is high... Lots of volume, bathroom is big... Bath will take two. Good view of the city uppper floors. Be aware of third party reservation scams... If you think you are on the hotels web site... You might not be and will be charged a huge fee without warning... You will be unable to cancel as well.

The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. There was a big bathroom which included a nice tub. We enjoyed the bathrobe and slippers. They checked with us by text to see if we needed anything. Very professional and gracious.

Everything was wonderful at the hotel ivy, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. If they get better more comfortable mattresses I would consider staying at the hotel again in the future….

The beds are hard as a rock. If thats your thing. The hotel and staff are wonderful. We had to get a bunch of blankets sent to us for it to be comfortable.

I am an active duty service member on travel orders and wanted the GSA rate. The hotel staff said this is not possible because I booked through Orbitz. They openly mocked my service with an insincere thank you for your service comment ridiculed with sarcasm. I would like a full refund and want the propery removed from Orbitz listing.

After check in I was sent a text message, which asked the anything I needed could be done through texts. Such a familiar way to communicate! WiFi, food, DoorDash, anything I asked was answered within 2 minutes! Only negative (and no big deal) was no ice buckets or ice machine! They did send some up to me, so that’s why this was no big deal.

No restock on amenities despite asking - no ice despite asking in person at the desk 4 times - no second bathrobe despite asking - honestly service was way short - baker got there $60 per day but didn't lift a finger to help with a cart to load or unload yet expected a tip - I will go anywhere but this property next time - it's actually a place ran by people that just don't care and at $400 per night - we deserve better

They messed up our massages. They charged us for an upgrade then didn’t do it. After a while they refunded it but did nothing to make up for it. The room service was horrible. They took 45 min longer than the hour they told us. If room service is going to take an hour then I’m fine with that but not if it’s almost double what time they told us. Then when it came the order was wrong.

I booked this stay for a friend for her birthday. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and gracious in making this a very special stay. I am particularly grateful for David at the front desk who did such a remarkable job and worked with me at every step of the way to make sure my friend's stay was special. I had a lot of questions and he was very patient and knowledgeable. Such amazing care and hospitality. My friend said the amenities were excellent, but for me, it's really about the staff, especially David, who were so, so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend Hotel Ivy.

A friend and I booked a room at the Ivy as a treat while we were in Minneapolis for a hockey tournament and it did not disappoint! Probably the most attentive, professional and just plain sweet staff you could ask for from the valets / doormen to the front desk and restaurant staff. The building and our room were gorgeous, well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed delicious breakfast at Breva and had dinner one evening at Masa & Agave (we recommend the Tamarind and Classic Margaritas) where the food and staff were outstanding. It was just a fun and relaxing weekend that was upscale but not stuffy in any way. We will be back to stay again and highly recommend The Ivy to anyone staying in Minneapolis who wants an above and beyond hotel experience.

The rooms were spacious and very clean with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant which was delicious and open until 11pm which was very convenient. We had a fabulous stay including room, staff and yummy dinner at Masa & Agave. Only one minor complaint, hotel said pet friendly. We had to walk a couple blocks to find a grassy area for our dog. I would still give hotel a high rating.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at. If you're in between this and another hotel, please choose this one and you will not regret it. The on site restaurants, in room amenities (alcohol options), room service with top notch guest service, quiet rooms with blackout curtains, the ambiance of the lobby. A friend and I booked a room at the Ivy as a treat while we were in Minneapolis for a hockey tournament and it did not disappoint! Beautiful property. Bartender at night was annoying. Flipping her hair and talking with a few customers but ignored us. Suggest for such a speciality hotel a bartender with more manners and better customer service
