Like all CitizenM, the lobby was fabulous and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Lovely 24 hour bar and restaurant- dinner food was simple but good. Breakfast and coffee (espresso drinks too!) are delicious. The room was not great- it had a weird smell and looked like it could use a good refresh. In the hotel's defense, I didn't ask for a room change bc I was too tired to make the move so Im not sure how they would have handled it.

Futuristic hotel close to the Schiphol Airport. After exiting the airport head to the right pass Sheraton hotel walk about 5 min to get there. Automatic self check in. I was able to get in earlier after 1100am. Rooms are compact but comfortable excellent for short or overnight stays. Mention goes for very comfortable beds!!! Everything is controlled by iPad which is ok for the most part but a bit inconvenient when trying to watch tv. Must activate iPad each time you want to change the channel. Overall great convenient stay next to airport.

Excellent staff! Comfortable beds, pillows and crisp bedsheets. Super convenient location, literally a 5 min straight walk from Schiphol Airport, no transportation needed. In house food and bar 24/7 awesome socializing and work areas.

One night stop, 5 mins walk from the terminal. 1st experience of the Citizen. Reception a bit confusing at first but help is at hand, very simple to check in but remember to take pic of room no in case you forget… Bar area and lounge great Room was space age, amazing bed, the shower is fun, I loved it, others may hate it

The hotel is generally as advertised: short walk from the terminal, sound proofed, etc. Rooms very small but well designed. Great solution if you need to sleep before your flight or don’t want to navigate transit after a late arrival. Only one negative: They were having some kind of major plumbing issue off the lobby which stunk up the first floor common / dining areas, making them unbearable… despite the counter-fragrances deployed. But they had it mostly addressed and aired out by the morning and it was possible to eat breakfast buffet OK.

Great funky hotel! Fantastic lobby with incredible cocktails! So close to the airport, only a 5 minute walk. Also had great food options for dinner. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet! Highly recommend!!

Really cool space, had a couple of issues. The washroom in the room wasn’t completely clean. It got taken care of when it was brought to the attention of the staff. Close to the airport a great place to stay if travelling. Rooms are unique in size so not sure I would want to stay for a prolonged period of time but that’s just me.

The staff were exceptional - truly friendly. The room was quirky, but there were sticky rim marks on the floor and desk from what I assume was a sweet drink the cleaners couldn’t get out. Great location, and easy to get to from the terminal building

I always stay here when I have an early flight out and it has everything one could need. Super efficient. It was a little less clean then normal but still 8/10. I also know they had a lot of travelers as there were many cancellations at Schiphol. But bedding towels all clean.

CitizenM was amaze-balls! Customer service was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was super comfortable and modern. I will definitely stay again. Location was great. I was able to walk right back over to Schipol and take the train to city centre for 5.60euro

Room was clean, but really small for the price. Walkable to the airport and easy to find. Wifi and TV kept on cutting out, but for a single night, it didn't matter. Dinner in the restaurant wasn't great with not a lot of options, but good enough for one night. If you need to be close to the airport, this is the place to be for one night.

Wasn't as sound proofed as they said. Could hear people opening and closing their doors and walking around with luggage. Still could hear the planes and cars as well. Overall good place for a night. Probably not the best idea for a longer stay

This was our choice of hotel for the night prior to flying out of Schiphol. It is very conveniently located to the airport: a very easy walk to the terminal (5-10 minutes) along a covered walkway. Staff greeting was cordial, and they were there to provide help with the self-check-in, if needed. The room was very compact but impeccably clean. In spite of the airport proximity, it was very quiet. There was an iPad available to control the curtain, the blackout blinds, the TV, and the lights. The bed fit up against two walls and the window-wall, so for a couple, one person would have to crawl over or around the other to get in bed. The hotel worked well for our one night stay at the airport prior to an early morning flight.

The proximity to the airport is the #1 pro to this hotel. The room is a bit bizarre. No walls separating toilet, shower, and bed. There are frosted glass doors that encase the round area for shower and the other round area for toilet. No place to lay your luggage, to open it, except on the bed. It’s fine for one night, before an early flight. Limited menu in the bar/canteen

De ligging op de luchthaven maakt dit hotel erg geschikt bij een vroege of late vlucht. De kamer was schoon. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit, maar aan 3 zijden ingesloten door 2 muren en een raam. Het bed is groot genoeg voor 2 personen, maar door de plaatsing tussen muren in de kleine kamer zou ik dit hotel niet kiezen voor een verblijf met 2.

We arrived at around 2am after a late flight to be greeted by a set of auto check in screens telling us no rooms were available. Fortunately a member of staff walked over and was able to retrieve our booking. After an unusually long wait we were given our key. We went to the room, to find the ipad that controls most of the functions was displaying an error message - no amount of button pushes would get rid of it so there was no way to turn off the TV. I tried downloading the app, but after several minutes of stupid questions it gave a system error. I ended up lifting the TV off its wall bracket to find the power cable to turn it off. At approaching 3am this is not what we needed.

Disappointed by the self serve check in . I paid almost $200 a room and only kiosks. Nobody there when I checked out. The good thing was I didn't realize there was a time difference between London and Amsterdam. Had I not stayed at the airport, I would have missed my flight.

I landed alone at around midnight at the Amsterdam airport and it was impossible to find my way to the hotel which I assumed was attached to the airport, based on the maps I saw, but it was not. So many of the airport doors were already locked which made it even harder to leave the airport at the exits closest to the hotel. I would recommend the hotel give much more detailed instructions to travelers. I finally gave up and took a taxi the very short distance to the hotel. In the light of day, going back to airport was so easy, but in the dark, I got very confused and lost. Once I got there however, it was a lovely experience. Check in was easy, the room was high tech and fit my needs perfectly. There was food for purchase in the lobby and a very nice bartender made me a drink at the bar. I would stay there again.
