We arrived late in the evening, and the lobby smelled like gas. I let the person in the lobby know and she said it was okay. It made me feel uneasy about falling asleep. Our room didn’t smell like gas. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed two nights with no issues other than the smell in the lobby both evenings. It may be a gas smell from the kitchen in the restaurant.

The hotel is going through a needed renovation. Our room was recently updated. Large, comfortable space as we had a suite. Hotel’s Hot tub should be avoided as it looked green; pool was small, unheated, but still fun for our kids.

Elevator was slow the night we checked in. Upon leaving the elevator was not working at all and had to take the stairs down with all of our belongings. Staff was very friendly, however and the property was clean.

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn. They are currently renovationg and aside from just seeing it in the lobby, we never heard or smelled anything. The staff was amazing and quick to answer any questions. We loved Tonys too downstairs for breakfast both mornings.

It was great except the pool area. Big clump of hair in the pool. Hot tub bottom had sand and there was mold in the room on the ceiling and wall.

The room was clean and everything seemed to be in working order, but the bed was elevated, so it was difficult to climb into and the walls were extremely thin so we could smell people making extremely burnt coffee in the rooms next to us and that woke us up very early in the mornings and the hotel states it has breakfast, but it’s through the restaurant and that did not open up until 9 AM so anyone trying to get an early start that is not possible with this. Also, there was only one working elevator so you’re waiting for a line to be able to get up to your room if you’re on the fourth or third floor plus there were no working soda or vending machine machines on the floors.

There was an event downstairs and the microphone was so loud it sounded as if the emcee was in our room with us. It was humid in our room and the shower drain had a terrible odor. We had to request a plunger because the water pressure was so low it wouldn’t flush. Ate in the restaurant downstairs, it was decent but over priced.

Due to a long check-out line, we were unable to speak with hotel staff before departing for our softball tournament. We observed spiders in our room on three separate occasions. Unattended alcohol bottles were present by the pool, and excessive noise from running and yelling made sleep impossible. Breakfast service was excessively slow, with a wait time exceeding 20 minutes despite few occupied tables. While we possessed $40 in breakfast vouchers, we were still charged approximately $10 despite our total being less than the voucher amount. Following contact with their chat service, a case number was assigned, but promised follow-up was not received. After repeated attempts, a manager offered IHG points as compensation, which remain uncredited to my account after over a week, despite further follow-up.

Well the first night there were ants all over the counter, wall, and floor by the refrigerator area. When I tried to call the front desk, my phone in the room would not connect. I kept getting a busy signal. I went down to the desk and the lady at the desk was pleasant and did end up coming upstairs to spray the area with an insecticide. The next morning the ants by the refrigerator were dead, however, there were more across the room by the garbage can, TV area, and desk. I again notified the front desk. The gentleman was not as willing to help but did eventually end up going up to the room to spray. That evening, the ants were gone, however, the button for the elevator had been pushed into the wall. It seemed a precarious thing that could lend to a fire hazard. I could not change rooms as there were no other wheelchair accessible rooms available. The accessibility was decent. The beds were a little too high for an independent transfer and the microwave was on an upper shelf I was unable to reach. But I was not traveling alone so this was not an issue.

It was soundproof as advertised. However, we had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great location, conveniently close to everything. There is a bar and grill on the main level of the hotel. The staff was attentive. We had extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel appears modern.

The staff was very very nice, from the young lady that called us prior to our arrival to explain the Holiday (thanksgiving) scheduling of meals , to the Manager Tom that checked us in. very accommodating. Will defiantly return when in the area again.

The restaurant staff, although very friendly, were completely confused by meal vouchers. We were there with entire baseball team for tournament and every single family had to fight with the staff over free meal vouchers. Very stressful. Some of our friends paid full price because they gave up arguing with waiter Toilet in our room stopped working several times. Easy fix by lifting tank lid but still should not have been an issue No one at front desk for many visits to ask questions. Had to keep checking back until someone was there

Went to watch our son & his Quincy volleyball team play at home. Our first night, there was a really loud & vibrating sound that seem to come from our bathroom & far living room walls. The night manager, Leah, could not figure out where nor what was making the noises. She found us 2 other adjoining rooms to meet our needs because we had a large 1 bedroom suite. By the time we got settled into our new rooms, it was almost 1am. Loved how spacious & clean the rooms were. And Leah gave us several meal passes including comping one of the rooms for our entire stay. She was very efficient & professional. Despite the inconveniences the first night, we would definitely return here again.

We stay in hotels about 30 days a year in various countries besides the U.S. and this hotel hands down wins the award for the worst service. Its like the management probably has never stayed in a hotel. The desk people don't even acknowledge you. We had a suite and there were only 3 hangers in the closet for 2 people. I requested a few more and after 4 days still couldn't get them. The room wasn't cleaned on the second day and I had to ask 3 different times on the 3rd day to have it cleaned

Had to wait over 5 minutes for the desk clerk to come back. We tried to make conversation about the 100 mile rule to stay there. She was rude and said they were catering to business travel and there were plenty of other nearby hotels for others. Weird that is your business plan, yet you have preteen running all over and you allow dogs. Though it was very cute!!
