Only complaint was parking. They share with the hotel next door and so you can use either when you pay. They didn’t have enough for the weekend when we stayed, the other two nights were fine, but we ended up parking everywhere in the lot. However, the front desk woman had waved one night of the parking and everyone was so accommodating. I will absolutely be staying here again!

Due to construction work by the City of Omaha, several cylindrical holes, each about 8 inches in diameter, were left in the sidewalk next to the hotel. These holes were neither marked nor cordoned off. My grandson and I were walking back to the Hampton Inn around 8 PM on August 4th when my 12-year-old grandson stepped into one of the holes, sinking about a foot deep. He screamed in pain and quickly pulled his foot out, his shin already red, swollen, and blistered. With the help of kind passersby, we carried him back to the hotel lobby. The hotel manager immediately provided first aid and comforted us, helping us calm down. He then provided a medical facility so we could find a doctor to examine our child in this unfamiliar place. I am very grateful to the manager on duty that day, although I have forgotten his name. I am also very grateful to the Hampton Inn for having established standard operating procedures for such incidents, prioritizing the service of its guests.
