Tv was old and had a black spot. Cable was obviously shared so the quality was poor. Breakfast was sparse as were the rooms. Uncomfortable bed, chairs. The pool had not been cleaned or skimmed recently. Had a greasy film on the top of it and not been chlorinated. No towels at the pool either and they only give you 2 towels in your room. The decor and furniture has not been updated and they used vinegar to clean the towels so they smelt funny. While everything was clean, a deep clean has not been done in quite awhile. Air conditioning and hot water all worked well.

It was good the money, there were no ice machines, the pool and breakfast area had a lot of debris/boxes. The shower needs recaulked, and it didn’t drain well. Employees were all nice, they were cleaning often but some things just need replaced our blankets had holes.

it was good overall, they are renovation parts of the hotel so it was not fully functional. the pool was not heated and felt like ice. the room overall was good, slightly dated but unsure if the room we stayed in was updated or not yet.

I was aloud to check in early. There was no trouble having a late 12 o clock check out which was great. The place is going under renovations currently. In the few days I was here they did a lot of work already. I’ll probably stay here next month and I’m sure the renovations by then will make this place even better. The pool was perfect

Great work revitalizing this hotel. We had stayed under previous ownership. My only complaint is a bunch a local men were allowed to gather ourside the pool in thirr trucks and sit in the parking lot and drink. A bunch of older men, getting drunk, while my daughter is swimming is NOT what i consider family friendly. If this is corrected by management,i would recommend. I was impressed.

Remodeled lobby and rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and linens. Tropically warm indoor pool. Breakfast. Very convenient to I 90, 2, 80, and on rt 57 to head in any direction. Restaurants, grocery stores, Lowe's, gas station all hear.

Pictures can be deceiving, the photos online looked very nice but upon arrival the whole place was rundown. The room was spacious but had hardly enough furnishing to even set bags down on and the ones that it did have were covered in cigarette burns. The continental breakfast can hardly be called that. A gas station has more options than this and had no options for dietary restrictions. The amenities offered online were not functional, the vending machines and ice machines weren’t working. Would not recommend.

Run down, dirty rooms. Spider webs and dirt in the corners. Bedding was soiled, including comforter. Mattress was terribly stained. Comforter had a cigarette burn in it. Floor was warped. Ceiling plaster was falling down.

Saw a mouse in my room while brushing my teeth. Scurried under the sink, up a pipe leading into a massive, open hole in the wall. Upon that discovery, I started searching for more. Then found mouse feces under my mattress. Will never be staying at Red Roof Inn ever again.

Do not stay here! The bathtub had hair and other debris, there is dirt built up in corners, the air conditioner was broken and I was bitten by insects while sleeping. I left after 1 night. Photos attached

Horrible check in. Reservation was for Queen bed, did get 2 twins. Toilet was filthy. Vinyl floor, carpet and dresser was filthy. Breakfast areas was disgusting. Some towels were stained. Before you want to take a shower you need to let the water run for almost 10 minutes to get the water hot. The freezer was just a block if ice, not usable at all. Coffee maker in the room was incomplete, it was not usable.

Let me just say I don’t ever leave bad reviews, but this place was disgusting. We were supposed to stay two nights but left after the first. It was FILTHY. Disgusting couch, disgusting walls, disgusting rug/floor, dirty sheets, yellow pillows underneath the pillowcase, I even found a bed bug. Pool was horrid with clumps of hair, what looked like mucus, couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. Dipped my feet in to give it a shot and they were sticky and gross after. Breakfast sucked. Way overpriced for the filth I had to endure. Absolutely atrocious. Spend the extra money to go somewhere nice.

Pictures are not current. I walked in and about walked back out but I stayed because I realized I wouldn’t be in the room just to sleep. The room was not very clean. I had to wear my sandals when I went from the bed to walk in the room. My husband did not until he noticed the bottom of his feet were black from the floor! Luckily I had Lysol wipes and wiped areas in the room including the bathroom/tub. It looked dirty but it was wear and tear as this hotel is older and needs upgrades. The bed wasn’t bad thankfully. The free breakfast was eye opening. Very limited and hard boil eggs in water that look green. It’s cheap but that is my last time for me!

The floors in the building were dirty. Stairs and halls had carpet and it seemed they had not been vacuumed/cleaned in a long time. The suite smelled badly. The bathroom smelled like pee, we think it was the curtain. We were happy to find out that the sheets on both beds were clean and towels were also clean. What bothered the most was the smell in the bathroom, it seemed clean, the smell was bad.

We attended a wedding in the area so we booked a room here so that we didn't have to drive an hour back home. The staff was very friendly and the lobby and room were clean and comfortable. We didn't partake in the breakfast so I can't speak to that. The room was huge, but lacked furniture to fill it. It would have been nice to have a small couch or desk to fill the space a bit. And our AC unit was a bit finicky but we dealt with it

Their staff was friendly and made sure I knew if I needed anything just ask. Check in was fast and easy and the man at the counter was so nice and welcoming. The suite I got was spacious and clean. It looks like they’re remodeling parts of the hotel so some parts are not as pleasing but the price makes you over look that.

We had a great night of sleep while driving cross-country. The Sycamore Inn was clean, with comfortable beds, an attentive staff, and a nice breakfast in the morning. It was the value that I was looking for during my travels!

Good afternoon! The room was nice...simple and comfortable. I didn't have much luck with the TV remote since all the channels have numbers followed by a period with another number, and the remote doesn't have a button for a period. So I couldn't get the channel I wanted. Also, the walls are paper thin and my next door neighbors (117) were a family of screaming kids and even louder adults screaming at the kids. The male voice sounded so angry that I was concerned where it was heading, but amazingly, the room got quiet around 11pm. On a 1 to 5 scale, I would give it a 3. You can't control your guests' behavior, but better soundproofing would help nullify some of that.

The smoke detector in the room was disabled and the towel bar by the sink was missing. The windows did not insulate from the heavy traffic noise and there was a sizable gap under the hallway door so a lot of the hallway noise was also in the room.

My grandson was in a wheelchair and could not fit it thru the passageway to the beds from the sitting area. Also, the Wi-Fi was absolutely terrible…1 bar only and kept dropping service. We left a day earlier than planned and lost our money for that nights stay.

The owners, staff were very kind & helpful. Even with some ongoing remodeling, things remained clean. The mini fridge in our room was replaced promptly when we noticed a problem. I would definitely consider staying there again when we return.
The owners, staff were very kind & helpful. Even with some ongoing remodeling, things remained clean. The mini fridge in our room was replaced promptly when we noticed a problem. I would definitely consider staying there again when we return.

Unfortunately, not a good experience. When I arrived, I waited several minutes before anyone appeared at the front desk. Once inside the room we noticed the bathroom was extremely small. The tub had dark marks that made it look dirty. We were only provided with a two single roll of rough toilet paper for a 4day stay. The room felt more like a dingy motel than the “nice” hotel advertised. Throughout the stay, no one came to provide the room service that was listed. I had to request extra toilet paper and towels myself. This hotel did not feel secure. The back door, located on the 1st floor near the garbage area, was propped open with a door stopper during my entire stay. This allowed anyone to enter the building at any time. The front desk staff were rarely present. Graffiti on the stairwell gave the impression that people who didn’t belong there were hanging around. Some guests appeared questionable, further adding to my concern. On the last night, we were unable to sleep due to a man upstairs who kept screaming and crying “don’t hurt me” from 1am-3am. He didn’t sound like he was in danger. He sounded very intoxicated with alcohol or drugs. Combined with other encounters with suspicious individuals in the hallways and stairwells, gave me the impression that some rooms were occupied by drug users. Overall, I was very disappointed with this hotel. Between the poor service, unsafe environment, and disturbing incidents, I cannot recommend staying here. I will not be returning.

The hotel was ok for the price. Staff was really nice. Room was ok. But guests in rooms around me were smoking weed and it stunk up not only my room but, the whole hallway. And the location sucks. Almost impossible to bypass the turnpike that charges $11 each go through and town area was rough. Know that's out of their control but, it's just not where I would stay if has a choice again.

This was unplanned. I developed car trouble on the turnpike and had to stay overnight. I was pleasantly surprised. The property was clean, The rooms nicely decorated. It has the usual continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants nearby. The area is safe and convenient to the turnpike. The price is good. This is a good property and a good value

Unfortunately, this is an aging property and the rooms are tired and worn. The facility is in poor shape and need of a complete overhaul. The surrounding area is a horrible sea of pavement adjacent to a vacant mall. The staff were accommodating and friendly but there was not much they could do about the poor condition of the building.

This was a last minute reservation as we were traveling. All other hotels were booked so we booked here with low expectations. We were surprised by the condition and cleanliness of the property. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The downfall was breakfast. Hours were 6:30 until 9:30. We went down at 7:00 am and no food was out. At around 7:20 The employee put the food out. Plain bagels, A few mini muffins and mini powdered donuts. We just left at that point. I would stay again knowing we will eat somewhere else in the morning

It was very dirty and in very poor condition. The breakfast was 2 sugar cereals, some bread ( the bagels looked defrosted frozen), tiny pastries, activia and some hard boiled egg. We didn’t “indulge”. The only reason I didn’t give it a lower rating is the staff were sweet and helpful.

Hotel is an older hotel but everything was very clean. The beds were cozy in the spacious room. I like the fact that there is no carpet they are vinyl floors. The breakfast has pancakes, bagels, donuts and fruit.

Pictures can be deceiving, the photos online looked very nice but upon arrival the whole place was rundown. The room was spacious but had hardly enough furnishing to even set bags down on and the ones that it did have were covered in cigarette burns. The continental breakfast can hardly be called that. A gas station has more options than this and had no options for dietary restrictions. The amenities offered online were not functional, the vending machines and ice machines weren’t working. Would not recommend.

We stop here to sleep. We got room 102. In the middle of the night, we have so much noise and stomping on the ceiling! We complained at the front desk, but we didn't get satisfactory relief. If we stay this place, we makes sure not get this room!
