Sofa bed that was advertised was a small chair with ottoman, free continental breakfast that was advertised did not exist (not even morning coffee). The restaurant inside was poor service and very expensive. The menu advertised in the elevator did not exist. Never anyone at the lobby desk to ask. For 200 a night, it was not worth it AT ALL.

The hotel is fine. The surroundings are an abandoned mall and cinema complexes. Somewhat dystopian. Morning drip coffee at cafe terrible. Order a machine made latte or cappuccino for something that tastes like coffee. Very attentive staff.

The property is clean and has a nice little gym, quiet and friendly staffing. We got in around 8 or 9 pm and there was a little cafe/bar still open in the lobby with pretty good food and a very friendly staff person who served us quickly and waited on us attentively : ) our stay was great!

It was new and therefore carpets etc were new and clean, but the elevator was broken, leaving only one that worked and the broken one was in perpetual opening closing mode for over a day. The mattress on the pull out sofa was literally falling apart. It was no longer sewn together and you could remove the top from the bottom completely leaving the stuffing exposed. When we mentioned it to staff they said they couldn’t do anything about it at that time.

The luggage racks carts wheels are horrible! We had a lot of luggage for our month long trip. Manuering these carts was very difficult. I let management know. He offered to assist me, very helpful. He said he has advised owner/management. Otherwise, beautiful facility. Area seems to be depressed. Closed Mall next door.

Newer property so very clean. Comfortable and spacious double room and bathroom. No restaurants near by but a nice restaurant on the property. Walls are a bit thin - lucky I had quiet neighbors. EXTREMELY welcoming front desk and housekeeping team.

This hotel is well kept and the staff was friendly and took care of me. For that, 5 stars. But I have a problem with it that they shortcut several of the amenities such that it seems like they are trying to market a side-of-freeway hotel in a sketchy neighborhood as a courtyard to command a higher price. For example, the business center is a single computer and printer out in the open alongside the checkin counter - no privacy. The pool is the side of a postage stamp .. no one uses it bc it has no practical use. And the gym was a few treadmills and some sad free weights. I left with the impression that Marriott has a checklist for what a hotel has to have to be called a Marriott and these people did the bare minimum to check all the boxes. It's a fine hotel but it shouldn't be a courtyard. I expected more because of the brand and left feeling like I overpaid.

Our room was not clean. We found a used towel in the bathroom and trash in the trash can. There were no clean towels nor coffee and cups in the room. When we requested these things, staff were friendly and prompt, but we shouldn't have had to ask. It was a disappointing experience, especially considering we paid more than other roadside hotels nearby thinking it would be a nicer experience.

Our room looked like it had not been cleaned. In both beds we had multiple strands of long dark hair. The pillows that substituted for a headboard had multiple stains on them as well as the wall. The tub had paint missing exposing multiple rusted spots. Very disappointed as this was a decent hotel a few years ago. We cut our star a day early due to how gross the room was.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Common areas were clean and nicely presented. The room had some issues. Clean overall but we noticed stains on the sheets. The sheets were not the proper size for the bed and the pillows were absolutely awful; some were entirely flat and others were lumpy and stiff. The a/c did not cool the room effectively because it was under the shelf/cabinet housing the fridge/microwave. The shower curtain was too short to reach the tub so water would get everywhere. The bottles of hygiene products in the shower were empty, and the toilet paper holder was loose and hanging from the wall. The mirrors also appeared to have been wiped down with a wet rag instead of proper cleaner.

We checked in at 10pm. The room temperature was 63 degrees. The thermostat and/or heater had issues. We set it at 69 and by morning it was up to 64!

Everything was great with my stay, staff was very friendly and helpful! The only negative is that the room doors close so loudly, that disturbed me. I went to bed early because I had an early morning appointment and I was not feeling very well and I could hear the loud noise when guests went into their rooms and the doors slam shut. Otherwise, my stay was great! Easy parking and my room was clean and spacious.

Had to keep on trying; 3) Our rooms has never been cleaned even we did not hang "don\'t disturb" at some of the rooms. 4) alarm clock time is always wrong, everytime when we stayed, this is the same problem.

The property itself is excellent! Very well maintained clean and very nice looking. Nice landscaping and appearance of the external part of the property. The lobby and the dining area are spacious and comfortable. The rooms are nice and quiet. The area outside of the property looks like a war zone And a lot of places abandoned and not really representative of the nice hotel that it sits in.

Our reservation with Expedia added the breakfast fee auto added at the reservation time. Per hotel staff, the breakfast is ala crate, not included with the visit. Requested extended stay until 3 to 4 . pm, declined stating cleaning staff prefers to be done around 2 and therefore we were offered extended until 2pm. After the first night, we were told that their records indicate that we check out at 2 pm the day before our check out day. We ended up being given a new set of key cards because the original one were expiring the day before. The heating system was a hit or miss. The first night it stayed at the same temperature even with the change of the setting. We were asked to join membership however I am not sure if we would want to be members for this hotel. I hope it was only this location and not multiple other Marriott hotels.

Most of the hotel was in decent condition and service members were nice, except the coffee guy, who refused to sell us Starbucks coffee the first night and our entire stay. He said he didn’t want to brew coffee for one or two people and told me to come back in the morning. It wasn’t closed, he just refused to serve me. Completely unacceptable. Hope you do something so next customers are not treated like this.

In a very depressed area with a nearby hotel empty and abandoned and a once thriving shopping mall that is hanging on by a thread. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the counter person had no idea if it was, and when asked about what was on a particular breakfast item, had no idea and said he’d have to look up how to make it! You’d think if he was hired to cover the breakfast counter he’d be trained to properly do his job. Room was very nice and comfortable and the shower was so well designed with lots of space and places for toiletries. Despite the economic depression in that town it is probably the best hotel in the area.

While the hotel was well maintained and the staff were great, this particular establishment does not offer free breakfast which I find unusual for this brand. Also, to access this hotel you have to drive through a dead shopping mall. Not be best location.

Our son was graduating Oberlin College in nearby Oberlin, Ohio. This hotel is very convenient if you cannot stay in Oberlin itself. We have stayed here on multiple occasions over the last 5 years. It is only 12 miles and 15 minutes from Oberlin. The staff was very friendly. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean, however, they still do not offer any daily room service, trash pick-up, or wellness checks. This started during Covid, but Covid is long since over. We had to empty our trash and go downstairs for toiletry refills. Some of the furniture and carpeting is starting to show its age.
