Beautiful update. Enjoyed the gorgeous fountain and hanging out on a warm evening on the lawn with cocktails. Guys played corn hole and little one played games. Highly recommend.

Loved the hotel, including the bar and courtyard area. Very convenient. Was able to walk to everything. The staff was very accommodating to us, as well as other guests I observed requesting additional assistance. We stayed in a first floor room and it had a window in the bathroom that was unlocked so I had to play around with it a bit to get it locked. But other than that, everything was great.

It was walking distance from the giant troll in Solvang. We loved our stay, clean and staff very friendly. Lounge was a nice hangout place as everything seems to close early.

The new bar is amazing! The staff were all great! We loved it here before the remodel... But it's even better. Live music is a great addition. The lounging areas great. The only thing we miss is the in-room jacuzzi tubs.

I like staying at the Hadsten when we're in Solvang due to its close proximity to everything in Solvang. I like the fact that it has a dining facility/bar that you can rely on in case you don't feel like walking to a restaurant. The fitness center on the property is excellent, it has everything you might need for a workout. The room is spacious and nice. I have two complaints about the room, the first is the barn door for the bathroom. It was very tempermental when trying to lock it, sometimes I thought I locked it only to have it slide open. So much for having privacy! The second thing is the ac is located in the bathroom. So the bathroom gets really cold, the rest of the room not so much. Beyond that, the Hadsten is a great hotel.

The property is just on the outside of downtown Solvang, so it’s a perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I definitely will be staying there for the future trips to that area.

Loved it! Everything was very clean and the beds themselves were super comfortable. I do wish their pillows were softer and less thick. But everything else was wonderful! Loved their bathroom as well. Would highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was prompt and friendly. The only thing I would add is the walls are pretty thin and I was on the bottom floor. I could hear the upstairs guest walking around and other noises. Also this hotel is right on the main street so there is traffic noise occasionally.

The bed was terrible. Not only was it soft the edges had no support so I was close to falling out of bed ever time I rolled over. Someone is going to get injured. The pillows were huge and too hard

Great, convenient location at the end of "the strip", so that made it quiet. Comfortable king bed. I'm not crazy about the sliding, slat door to a bathroom in any hotel--it's not very sound proof or private. Also odd to have the a/c unit in the bathroom; makes it hard to get the thermostat right. Nothing to be done about those things, though. Good price, very nice hotel.

Rooms are clean and updated. NOTE this is no more than a 3 star facility. It is essentially an updated motel with a facelift- think Holiday Inn. The walls are thin and traffic noise echos. The primary shortcoming is the front desk staff who is disinterested and not helpful. They will check you in but that’s all. No explanation of WiFi, facilities, restaurant/bar. This needs attention.

The front desk staff was so pleasant. They made arrangements for a late check out to accommodate an elderly family member. They remembered me from the day before, which is never expected with so many customers, but always appreciated. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the fun looking courtyard and bar, but we will come back and stay there from a more leisurely trip soon!

They accused us of stealing and then accused our friends of stealing. On check out we left the hotel, left our cars, and went for breakfast. We got a call while eating about a $250 charge for a stolen brown blanket. We don’t need a blanket. And I certainly wouldn’t take a second hand one from a hotel. My husband went back and asked the staff accusing us to look in our car. They refused saying they didn’t have the staff to leave the desk to check our car. Then the accusing staff reneged their statement and didn’t apologise but said the blankets were ugly brown so people don’t steal them. Ridiculous. They didn’t know as we did seperate bookings. But they accused and tried to charge my friends the same. Absolutely absurd. And then tried to accuse another party of stealing water. Stay at the hotel across the road or another.

The front desk ladies were wonderful, friendly, personable, and helpful. The same cannot be said about the servers in the restaurant. My husband waited for 40 minutes for the server to come and get our order. He finally gave up and walked to Domino's pizza to get food for our hungry kids.

We love this hotel! It's in Solvang, so it's walkable... But on the outskirts so you have peace and quiet. We stay here every trip. The staff is always wonderful. Parking is super convenient.

Great property right at the beginning of Solvang, this was great as you are close to all the restaurants and shops but you don’t have all the noise associated with being right in the center of it all. Staff was friendly, great bar area with TV’s to watch the games! Will definitely stay here again if visiting Solvang again.

The property is beautiful & well kept. The room was clean, the bed was heavenly & the staff was attentive & friendly. I do NOT recommend dining here for dinner; the food lacked flavor, seasoning & the portions were quite small. The only dish i would recommend was the buffalo cauliflower.

The bar was limited in what the bartender could make because the manager tried to save money by not stocking the bar with the basic items. He said he didn't want to buy 30 bottles of ameretto because it was too much? A case is 12 bottles, so why he thinks he needs to buy a pallet of items to stock a bar is wierd. Ordered breakfast to our room one morning and was disappointed on hw it came in a cardboard box like it was dumped in. Not provided salt and pepper for the basic breakfast. One slice of cold toast. Hard pass on food or drinks at this place. Very disappointed in Hilton and standards.
