Great location and very friendly staff. The only problem is that if doesn’t have laundry service nor does it have a fitness center. Also, the room service is that you order the food from restaurant and you will have to go and get it from the restaurant. They won’t send over to the room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the high standards at this hotel, the room was magnificent, great linens, soaps, space, comfortable, all-round great. The restaurant Mad & Vin had some of the best food I had while in Solvang and everyone was super helpful. My only complaint is that they wouldn't turn the outdoor firepits on for us mid-afternoon, because they only turned them on at 5pm, and we were not told about the parking fee. That aside, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is an adorable hotel in the middle of Solvang. We chose it because it is updated and tasteful. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant, Mad and Vin, also provided a nice experience. We were a little turned off by the $20/day parking given that there is ample parking in the public lot next door. Because of this, I'd give it 4 stars.

The lobby, bar and restaurant are all designed exquisitely well, with great attention to detail and a perfect balance of Scandinavian minimalism and warm hospitality. (The beautiful wall sconces are like nothing you've ever seen!) The onsite bar and restaurant are both delicious for bar bites or a full meal, cocktails and wine are wonderful. Both places you'll want to hang out in! The staff are youthful, energetic, sophisticated and friendly. There's no other hotel in town on this level and... the price point suggests this! I wish the same level of design care had spilled over into our room a little bit more. The furnishings are great, but there was a tremendous amount of un-utilized space between our bed and the very distant dresser with the TV on the wall. Yet, the bathroom was as small as I've ever seen with the door nearly hitting the toilet as it opened. (The Vanity sink outside the toilet was large and wonderful though!) We had a garden room that has a nice area with fire pits and comfortable chairs outside. Very lovely overall. Our only quibble with the hotel was the fact that even at this high price point there are absolutely no niceties given at all. (No workout room, no morning lobby coffee, no wine hour, no welcome beverage, parking is extra...) The only thing they give you that's complimentary are earplugs, which was obviously an afterthought when people must have complained about noises through the wall, though we didn't have any problems. Might stay again. ??

Everything was great except the noise. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear everything going on in the courtyard. We could also hear anyone walking down or talking in the hallways. It seems there is zero sound-proofing in the rooms. Everything else was great. Mad Vin was delicious!

Loved this hotel. Felt modern and boutique. Room had wood floors and rug which felt cleaner than normal hotels. Great staff. Had delicious meal in the dining room and wait staff were excellent. Downside: bathroom was small and basic. Towels were clean but need to be fresher/newer. 2 queen beds were tiny and felt more like full size. But would definitely stay again.

complete nightmare, you can't rent out your hotel to be a nightclub and expect guests to be happy, if you have wedding parties take over hotels, you need to notify guests. We had an absolutely miserable time, couldnt do anything in our rooms, walked around town to get away from the noise, its a quiet town, but then as we approached the hotel it was like a raging nightclub you can hear from blocks away, the throbbing music was rattling our walls, couldn't even hear the movie we were trying to watch

A very cute and quaint hotel located in the center of Solvang. Easy access to walk around the town and not far from other local attractions and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and made the stay comfortable. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to the area!

Our room was clean and well appointed. Mini fridge was not cold. Shower was cold (no hot water) at common shower times: 7:30am for example. Staff were attentive and friendly. Could not get front desk from phone in room -always busy signal—had to call from cell phone outside line…interesting. No issues with noise at all. Would return—food was good, happy hour was fun and courtyard was inviting. Thank you!

The room was very nice. However, they charge to park on their property, without mention of it at check in. There were plenty of parking options within feet, with no charge. Also, we checked in around 3pm, our room was not available yet and they said would text me when it was. Never received a text. We went back around 4:30 and room was ready.
