We have been staying in this hotel for 20 years when we go to Minneapolis. It has a huge pool amazing rooms and excellent service. It is an easy drive to anywhere in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area.

This is going to stay on our list of top places to stay! Very nice, easy, and just amazing. Nice pool, bar, and decor! Breakfast was best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel…. And clean, clean, clean!

This hotel was very comfortable and the ambience was modern and creative. The pool was big and hot tub was good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and nice. The area around the hotel is just full of hotels and business buildings. So otside of the hotel is just a big suburban office and highway area. But if you have a car you can get to nice places easily.

Outdated. Staff was borderline rude. You could tell they didn’t want us coming to the bar/restaurant. I booked the club room instead of the regular room thinking it’s fun to grab drinks/snacks at our leisure. They told us when we got there, it’s closed so they gave us $15 towards something from the overpriced shop next to front desk. It got us $5 worth of stuff (overpriced) but we really were given no other option. Pool was decent. We also paid for breakfast on the property. It was something I’d be displeased with even if it were complimentary with the room. We went for a little staycation so I know I’m expecting more than the typical sleep here because we have to but I was disappointed at each turn.

The hotel was beautiful with creative decor and a cozy atmosphere. It was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order for our entire stay, and they closed the bar and dining room for the last night and day of our stay with no notice which was really frustrating because we had kids with us and it was nice to have a spot to hang out in the evenings and a place for breakfast.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Everything was great other than the flooring is not the best choice in the pool area very slippery and almost fell multiple times, along with others. Otherwise great place to stay!

The place is decorated super cute and has a lot of style. The walls however are paper thin. Any conversations people have in the halls or next door rooms sound like the people are right in your room. Also on a prepaid room at check-in my card was ran at a higher room rate twice which took quite a few days before being refunded.

Don’t waste your money on this hotel!! No AC in the hallways or lobby. Extremely Dark room that felt like I was in a cave. So dark in the bathroom that I couldn’t even see my face to put on my make up. Extremely small bathroom. No usable space on counter in bathroom. Rude staff. Breakfast buffet is less impressive than at any Hampton Inn or similar hotel except that it costs money ~$17.95!!! I should have stayed at the Springhill Suites like I usually do. We thought we were going to treat ourselves to a step up, but were extremely disappointed.

The room was fantastic. Probably the quietest hotel room i have ever stayed in. The hotel was quite busy but I never once heard anyone while I was inside my room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing that could use improvement whas the restaurant, the hours were very limited and staff not very friendly/helpful. Breakfast was included with the room rate I chose but it typically costs 17.50 or something like that and had very limited selection. While the food was good, I would not recommend it for that price, I have had much better breakfasts for free at other hotels, also it was very busy when we went down to eat and the restaurant dining area was full but the staff would not let anyone sit in the bar area which was attached, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table to open up, which was sort of ridiculous when we were sitting at a table but we couldn't eat at it. Overall great stay and would be glad to stay there again.

Traveled 8 hours from North Dakota for a concert I’ve been waiting months for. The staff were nice. I liked how when I entered my room, the TV was on and it welcomed me. There wasn’t a microwave in the room. However they were able to send one up to me. The sofa bed could use a comforter, had to request one. The refrigerator would make that cooling sound but it barely kept my drinks and leftover food cold. But overall, I enjoyed my stay.

It is a beautiful hotel but we had issues with check in, I had booked a king with a pull out sofa and they sent me to a room withonly a king bed, had to get that fixed... Them the television wasn't working and it took the matience guy almost an hour to finally show up. Then we finally got to the pool area and there was, iny opinion toich chlorine in the pool. Both my kids also complained that it was bothering their eyes and the smell was overwhelming. I have stayed at the Renaissance two other times and had no issues but this time I was kind of disappointed.

Hotel overbooked and refused to give me a room upon arrival at 10pm. Didn't contact me before arrival (could have via hotels.com but said they couldn't - nonsense). Offered me an alternative hotel in an inconvenient location. Unsuitable, had to rebook a separate hotel in the location I needed to be in. Really stressful trying to sort this out so late at night with plans made the following morning that required me to be in this specific location. Staff couldn't have been less helpful if they tried. Told me the hotel they offered was "only 10 minutes away" but I know for a fact that in rush hour traffic, this is more like 30 minutes. Contacted hotel via hotels.com for a refund, no reply. Will never stay here again and nor will any of my colleagues.

Really loved the stay but my partner and I never got new towels, shampoo body wash or any thing like that even after asking multiple times. We stayed for 3 days and only got new towels once because we had to go to the front desk for it.

Kayla Merta at the front desk was extremely helpful upon check-in and made sure we were kept informed about the availability of our room as we had upgraded and arrived before the room was fully cleaned. She went above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely stay here again.

Great property. Very comfortable. Good vibe. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant and bar onsite. Club level was a nice add on. Close to Normandale Lake to get out and walk on the trail around the lake. Would absolutely stay again.

Angelica checked us in at the front desk and asked what brought us in today. We said just time away from the kids :-). She joked about the large buses of choir kids unloading and said she would put us in a room far away from all of them. This is the best service we have ever had at a hotel. Thanks, Angelica.

The building exterior doesn't look all that great, but the room was wonderful. Very comfortable and clean. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance, but plenty within a 10 min drive. There's also a lake with a trail within walking distance. Plenty of free parking on-site which many downtown hotels don't have. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.
