No one come to the desk. Front door completely broken. Nothing is secure. Tree limbs and trash around parking lot.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Was an odor of some sort, but not revolting. No elevator to 2nd floor (we don't do steps well these days.) Breakfast was weak - white or wheat toast and dry cereal. Milk, juice and coffee. We didn't expect much, just would have been nice to have a variety... at least some fruit or a danish. We chose this location based on location and price, so not going to complain. It served our needs.

Airport shuttle not running as indicated on the website. I was told to take an Uber. Hotel front door is broken (always open). Carpets are stained. This is an old hotel in need of an investment to update it. Breakfast offerings were minimal - a few cereals and a few prices of bread.

Parking area is cracked and full of potholes. No line striping. No landscaping. Lobby is cramped with low ceilings. Rooms are fine.

When I arrived around 8:00 p.m. just a little bit after when I said I would arrive on the pre-check-In I was told there was no shuttle driver. The lady at the front desk then told me I would be credited $20 for this day to get myself to the hotel. I took a lift which including tip is more than $20. When I got to the hotel I was given a slip of paper with an email address on it and told to contact Mark. I have no confidence that Mark will respond to my email let alone give me the promises $20 but I will update this if he does. I know that in this price range you can't expect too much and I don't think I do, but there was a lot of filth in the room and the toilet seat was not clean. The bed did seem clean and was comfortable. The breakfast was very Spartan but I did not want much so the English muffin and a little cereal with coffee was fine for me but you might rightfully expect more. If you're booking this hotel specifically because it has an airport shuttle like I was, you will be disappointed. We will see if they provide the promised 11:00 a.m. return shuttle.

Great price. Nice that they have a 24 hour shuttle but make sure you plan to leave super early or you’ll miss your flight because they don’t come

Below average facility maintenance with updates DESPERATELY lacking and not delivering on claimed services: --"Continental Breakfast" consisted of coffee, choice of 2 cereals and oatmeal. That's it (see pictures of empty pastry display, toasters with no bread, juice frig with no juice, etc. etc.) HORRIBLE! -No USB ports in rooms -Parking lot lights are non-functioning -Unsecure security doors - they do not relatch without a push -Weeds EVERYWHERE outside and some air conditioner grills sitting among them -Parking lot needs complete resurfacing -Charged an additional $100 to my credit card for "incidentals". SIX DAYS later I have still not received the promised reversal / credit -HORRIBLE! Rooms were relatively clean

Frustrating. Arrived at airport 11pm, no answer at hotel x 15 minutes to ask for shuttle. Ubered to hotel, still no one at the desk, just a note saying no one was at the front desk. In my room by midnight.

Shuttle wasnt running when I got to the airport (10:00 pm) and didnt start running until 7 am the next day. Free breakfast kind of skimpy. Room had Ac running when outsude temps in Minnesota were in the 30-40 range. Room was clean but very cheap furnishings and blanket on the bed very thin. Mattress not great. Got bug bites overnight. Hotel halls had very worn carpet and were a little dingy. Hard to understand the person at the front desk both on the phone and in person. Room was right next to a restaurant which would be handy for more than an overnight stay. The room was cheap ..you get what you pay for.

A 24-hr shuttle to the airport was supposed to be available but, for some reason, it wasn't. That was one of the reasons I had picked this hotel, so I was very disappointed.

The hotel is extremely run-down. Upon entering the lobby, the floors are badly stained, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls to reveal mold, and the heating/air conditioning unit's face was pulled off. There were burn marks above the outlet on the wall. The sheets on our bed were so threadbare in spots that you could see the mattress through them, and we thought that they were dirty or badly stained. The breakfast was the most sparse "complimentary breakfast" we have ever experienced, including during the COVID pandemic. The only options were bread or cereal. The staff were decently friendly, and the cleaners were working diligently; they did not have a property that could be cleaned to a suitable state. The shuttle service was wonderful.

The hotel hall ways are hot. It looks old and run down. We found multiple roaches in our room. Unacceptable!

The staff were fine, it was the blood on nightstand, and bathroom walls that made this trip not enjoyable. The air did not work, and the place was dirty. The breakfast was 100% not the breakfast from the pictures

The floors were sticky and there was black mold in the bathroom. The shower didn’t drain.

The parking lot was full of pot holes. The room was filthy, bedding stained with huge dirty marks on the boxspring and mattress, walls were scuffed and dirty. Staff didn't seem to care that people were leaving, and seemed to expect it. Over all, it was nothing like what was pictured and was filthy.

The hallways leading to our room were very dirty and worn and torn carpet. Our room was quite comfortable, with a good bed, and quite clean. The overall condition of the hotel is very much in need of repair and upgrade.

From the moment we parked in the parking lot (used condom on the ground) it was not good. The lady behind the desk was very short with us. She directed us to use the back door stairs which were uneven and scary. Once inside the hallway, it smelled of “skunk” really bad (still smelled like this the next morning). Once inside our room, it smelled of mold and stains every where. The shower was so bad we did not even use it. Breakfast was pitifully neglecting anything worth eating. We were exhausted from our road travel and stayed to sleep before our plane departed. We were supposed to stay again for one night upon our arrival back from Europe. We simply couldn’t and so we forfeited our money. This is a very run down place that no one seems to care about.

Clean but dated. Mattress was very worn. Entire building needs updating. Would not stay there again.

Bed was comfortable, shower took ages to get on felt like if you pulled too hard the shower would rip from the wall. The tv remote didn’t work so had no tv all night.

We had the room on the top of the stairs so we heard all the noise in the lobby all night very loud

Complimentary breakfast was completely gone/out by 8:30am each day despite supposedly being available till 9am. Couldn't even get coffee. Only thing available was dry cereal and the milk was gone. Air conditioner didn't work in the room. Wifi was spotty at best and at times didn't work at all.

This place is a dump. Cheep. Breakfast is pretty much bread products, cereal, yogurt. Horrible coffe. Rooms old with damp feeling carpet, saggy mattresses, and a door that hardly shuts. Person across the hall has full fridge. Guess they live there. We had no fridge or microwave. Shower is a step- in corner number, that leaks water all over the floor when the door opens outward. Our car got dinged in the parking lot. We would have lost our money if we had moved, so we sucked it up. Its a dump.

Room was quiet. Beds okay. Bathroom not very clean. Had some issues with key card. Advertises breakfast but there is just some coffee.

Okay stay, our room was not in the best location so we heard everyone going up and down the stairs. Also the floor in the bathroom was not cleaned properly. I dropped my toothbrush on the ground and when I picked it up there was a wad of hair and dust on it.

The employees were friendly and helpful, but the overall condition of the hotel and rooms were pretty horrible. It clearly hasn’t been updated in a while, and there was minimal (if any) proper soundproofing. It was easy to hear neighbors through walls. Our room faced the back parking lot and we were woken up constantly by people smoking, talking on the phone, or just chatting very loudly outside. As far as cleanliness is concerned, the whole hotel had a very odd smell to it. The beds were freshly made and clean, but that was about it. The bathrooms, though clearly cleaned by the employees, were decrepit. The shower leaked constantly and there were mold stains on the walls and ceilings, and there was no way to turn on the fan in the bathroom at all. The only perks were the sociable employees, free parking, and easy access to the MoA and major highways. Overall, I’d advise against staying here unless absolutely necessary, and also would advise the owners to invest generous time and money into updating the hotel infrastructure.

Booked for an overnight layover in Minneapolis. Booking stated breakfast and airport shuttle. NO Breakfast. An additional $100 deposit and this was the dirtiest LaQuinta Ive ever stayed at. Dogs barking INSIDE the hotel all night, parties. The floor smelled of cigarette and pot smoke. Then upon check out I inquired about the shuttle back to airport and desk clerk scolded me for not signing up. Sorry...no one explained that was a requirement. My checkin was rushed probably had tick tok videos to watch. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE

Always a great place to stay! Our annual spot, prior to heading on vaca. Staff are friendly & helpful, location is close to airport, breakfast is delicious, shuttle is such a bonus.

Check in staff were extremely slow and didn't even acknowledge the long line& wait. Didn't appear very motivatedto speed up. Valley in hallway is in disrepair and is a two hazard. That aside, roll was clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and stocked. Showers were nice with good water pressure. The "breakfast" as advertised was nothing more than barely filled cereal containers and questionable milk, along with lukewarm burnt bean water, even when arriving early for breakfast. The staff were not friendly with us at check in as well.

The front desk staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Shuttle service was good also.

I called La Quinta at 9:50pm for a shuttle to pick me up at airport. After 3 more calls they finally picked me up at 11:45pm. When I got there the front desk said they tried calling me but I did not answer. I had no missed calls on my phone so I guess it was just a lie to try to make me less upset. The first room key that they gave me did not work so they gave me a different room. The toilet did not flush all the time. The bathroom light over the sink did not work. The hairdryer did not work. They mattresses were so old you could visually see sink holes in the centers, extremely uncomfortable. While I was at the front desk I saw some disturbing things with other guests. 2 young girls wanted to use the vending machines but they only had a ten dollar bill. front desk would not make change for them. Another guest asked for extra pillows and they said there were not any and when that same guest asked for extra towels they said he would have to buy some. I stayed at this hotel because the price was good, it was close to the airport and I thought the shuttle would be convenient. I have used Hotels.com many times and will continue to use your service. But if I was a first time user of Hotels.com it would probably keep me from using your service again. Maybe you should re-evaluate keeping them on your website.

First impression pulling up to the hotel, the landscaping was unkept and the outside of the building appeared to be pretty rough looking. Walking inside of the building was stinky like mildew and a strong marijuana like odor. The customer service was horrible. Staff seemed like they were unhappy to be at work. When I checked in I made sure to let them know I would need the airport shuttle at 5am to get to MSP for my flight. I was told to be at the front desk 10mins early to check out of room and check in for shuttle. To get to my room I had to exit the back of the building and cross the back parking lot to get to a second building of the hotel, again the grounds in the back were unkept and overgrown (not maintained at all). We got to our room and it hade a very stale and mildew-ish odor. The only thing decent about the room was that the bed was comfortable. When we got to the front desk to check out at 4:50am like we were told there was no one at the front desk so I called out “hello” and the employee came out of the back room and looked very upset that I interrupted a nap as he looked like he just woke up. When he approached I told him I needed to check out and with an attitude he said “all you had to do was throw your room keys In that bucket” and pointed to a small unlabeled bucket on the front counter, as if I was supposed to know that. There was homeless on drugs that tried to take my luggage out of my hand and threatened my wife and I’s lives. We will never stay again!

Upon checking in the lady behind the desk was picking her nose. She then said that she could help me and I asked her if she wouldn't mind washing her hands first. I believe this offended her. She got a hand wipe and also hand sanitizer and used it. I explained to her that I was checking in she asked for my ID. She found my reservation and told me that it was $100, I explained to her that I had already paid in advance she then told me that that would be for incidentals. I asked her why isn't this explained upon booking and she stated that was their policy. I told her that that was fine but it should be stated upon booking. There was a young lady next to me who also had the same thoughts and was clearly frustrated as she explained that she just had to go upload money to pay the fee. The lady behind the desk then became very rude and stated if I didn't like it she would cancel my reservation and I could go stay somewhere else. I told her that was quite a rude statement and to check me in. I then asked her when my $100 dollars would be refunded she stated in a rude voice when we confirm the room is not damaged upon check out about 7 business days after. She then placed my keys on the counter instead of in my hands. The room was clean and pleasant but I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

I've stayed at La Quinta's before and have enjoyed it, but this location needs a bit of an overhaul. The "continental breakfast" consisted of english muffins and cereal only (I didn't see any milk), when I went to take a shower on the first day the shower head popped off, and the room had a stale smell to it. I was absolutely willing to let these things go until the last day. Before 8 in the morning a staff memeber came and banged on my door, waking me up, before i could even get to the door yo see what was going on the staff member opened it without announcing themself, luckily I had the door stop on. As a single woman traveling alone I was freaked out by a male staff member trying to get into my room without even announcing that they were an employee. When I asked what was going on he announced that my card had declined, I apologized and said I would come to the desk to sort it out. I went to the desk and apologized, assuming my fraud alert was triggered, since I was out of state, asked him to try the card again and it went through. I checked my bank app later and had no fraud alert, so my best guess is that the card information was entered incorrectly at check in. Reagardless, with no apology for being rude or trying to enter my room, I checked out early because I was so freaked out by the whole experience.

Awful hotel! Bad area of town, not safe! I walked in and was totally ignored by 2 desk clerks. Neither could speak understandable English. Not welcoming at all. Lobby was dirty, as was the outside. A client came down while I was at the desk and said his room was not what he reserved and was not clean. I cancelled my reservation and the clerk gave me a dirty look and walked away. Luckily I was able to get a room at another hotel. I waited at the Culver's next door for their pick up. Bad experience!

It was close to food and transportation

Close to the airport, easy in and out. Cheap rate and facilities and furnishings are worn, but clean and smells fine. Just what we needed.

One night stay to get closer to the airport. But would stay again if I visit in the future.

Arrived 12:40am, no shuttle at airport, called hotel, took 45 min for shuttle to arrive, no breakfast the following morning, guests were making coffee and adding food to the trays. Furniture in lobby was stained and dirty. Did not want to sit while waiting for shuttle back to airport.

I liked the convivence of this property to the airport and that was about it! The cleanliness of the rooms was very nice to see and the cleaning staff was nice. The front desk people were alright, but they did not have coffee all day around like every other hotel in America. This hotel had the worst breakfast I have ever seen with only two things of dry cereal and oatmeal packets. It was pathetic. Also, the parking lot was filled with potholes left and right, im just lucky our rental was not damaged.

They had two kinds of cold cereal & oatmeal for breakfast, that's all.., no fruit, no juice, nothing else.

The staff was friendly. There was a Culver’s across the parking lot which was nice. Our room reeked and we had to switch rooms. The shuttle to the airport was very convenient. The breakfast was only toast, bagels and cereal/oatmeal. Not waffles like in the pictures. The hotel itself was old and needed updating. We will stay elsewhere next time.

It took several phone calls to reach the receptionist for the airport shuttle. Once I got to the pickup, it took several more phone calls to reach the receptionist. Then it took more phone calls to ascertain where the late shuttle driver was. The "free breakfast" was a joke, self-serve cereal with no milk.

We went to breakfast at 8:10 and there’s nothing there but coffee white bread cereal ? While we were there 12 to 14 people came in also looking for breakfast. Everyone looks surprised.
