Not fancy but a good value. It was great to have the shuttle available on call when we arrived at midnight at MSP. Breakfast was minimal (they had run out of most things) but sufficient if you just want a bowl of cornflakes. Some odd smells in the lobby and elevator. The room was fine though and we rested well.

Was charged twice for my room. Asked for non-smoking and got a smoking room. Floor was tore up and the tub had the lining chipping away. Air conditioner was making a load noise all night. Breakfast was simple, pancakes, toast, cereal, and yogurt. Milk machine wasn't working. Dining area was small for the number of guests they had. Limited parking spots so lot fills up fast.

The advertisement said "airport shuttle". When we came back to Minn MN airport we were told to just call the hotel and someone would be there to pick us up. after calling three time, the person told us 20 min. the first time. the second time he said 3 min. then we see the driver go by and not stop at the shuttle pick-up area. I called again told the person what happened, he said he was going to come back.we seen on the tracking app he was not coming back. after over an hour of waiting and calling, we finally called a uber driver. DON'T STAY AT THIS POORLY MANAGED HOTEL!!!!!!!

A very average hotel. Shuttle going from airport to hotel and then later to MOA was very slow…requiring a lot of patience waiting. Shuttle going to airport early in morning, was on time and efficient, which was very good!

Our stay at Super8 was very comfortable and quiet. Although they only have one elevator and it was slow, it was okay. We love the shuttle service the best. We were able to get to/from the Mall of America and straight to the airport without a long wait.

I stayed for six nights while attending a professional conference nearby. While the location was convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired for an extended stay. Fitness Facility: The main reason I booked this hotel was the advertised gym. Upon arrival, I was told it was unavailable. I specifically needed the treadmill. This lack of transparency was disappointing and misleading — had I known, I would have chosen a better hotel. Front Desk: Service was inconsistent. One lady was courteous, but others were robotic and disengaged. When I asked for an extra quilt, I was told to come down to collect it myself — not ideal for multi-night guests. Key Card Issues: Both room keys got deactivated four times. I was told it was due to phone contact, which never happened. Still, I had to repeatedly go downstairs to reactivate them — extremely frustrating. Housekeeping: On Day 3, I requested cleaning in the morning. Staff said it was scheduled within 20 mins, but no one came until 6 hours later. However, cleaning was regular for the next three days. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was very underwhelming. The variety and quality were poor — only the fruits and yoghurts stood out. This place might be fine for a quick overnight stay, but not for longer visits. I wouldn't recommend it to business travelers expecting consistency and basic comfort. Hope management takes these concerns seriously.

No problem checking in. The room was not comfortable as pillows were so small, probably the size of a small shoe box and mattresswas hard. I went to e exercise room but the treadmill and elliptical machine were broken. Next morning was going to shower before leaving but upon turning on shower water was spraying all over the bathroom. The shower head was literally loose. Upon checking out i advised the person of the shower head being loose.

Absolutely long wait time to check in while waiting in a cramped lobby with many other people due to only one person working. Not really any actual parking spots to store vehicle though we paid extra for that.

Quick little stop from airport. Worn out, both the traveler and horel. It was adequate, though. A sign said Fitness Center, but there wasnt one.

I paid for a queen bed, did not get a queen bed. Keys stopped working and 1 never worked at all. Parking at night is terrible. The best part about this place is that the airport shuttle runs 24/7. I'll pay more next time.

Smelled bad immediately on the lobby and in the hallways and room. Room was in bad shape, furniture was out from the wall. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Cockroaches in bathroom. Bed was pretty bad. Made for a midget.

Disgusting and Unsafe – Do Not Stay Here We booked the jacuzzi suite for two nights in a non-smoking room, but it was nothing short of a health hazard. The entire room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the hallway was no better. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room, yet it smelled like it had been smoked in for years. There were stains on the countertops, the shower curtain was filthy, and to top it off — there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. The whole place felt dirty and neglected. The atmosphere was so sketchy, I honestly felt like there could’ve been hidden cameras in the room. That’s how unsafe and unsettling it was. This hotel needs to be reported to the state health department immediately. Save your money, your health, and your peace of mind, stay far away from this place.

The mattress was infested with bed bugs, and the towels were dirty. The entire area was extremely filthy and had a terrible odor. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Stay away from it. The breakfast was awful—I never even ate there because of how bad it was. Again, the whole place smelled horrible.

Did not like waking up to a cockroach climbing up my shorts so i checked out immediately which was 2 days early and they wont refund the nights i did not stay

The staff were great but the room was gross. Very dirty and as we were leaving I was doing a quick room check and there was dirty underwear under the bed. Gross!! Won’t stay again.

It’s definitely not new, patches in the walls, chunks of tile missing on the floors. The room is pretty clean, entry not so much. The biggest problem is the smell. It smells like old cigarettes & mildew. I think the building just needs something done for the smell.

The hallways were dirty, the room was dirty, there were stains all over the wall, the bathroom trim was broken, the shower was dirty, all of the lamps were bent sideways, they still worked but still very tacky. The front desk was rude and kept people waiting for a very long time. Very bad area to rent a hotel at as well, did not feel safe at any point.

Very dated. Stained furniture. Very old tv. Curtains didn’t block light into the room and neither did the door. Very very loud traffic noise. Bed was somewhat comfortable. Linens were very good. I’m amazed at how everything was stained. Needs a makeover. But it was cheap and clean.

Checked in and clerk didnt even tell me.about the free light breakfast or anything else. Hotel is on the run down side. Rooms look remodeled but the bed was sagging in the middle.with no support. The comforter had multiple.stains on it. The floor panels had buckled edges.

The shower did not work well. No coffee in the room. Small TV. I will not be staying there again.

Staff and check in process was great. Got to the room and turn on lamps and plug in electronics to change. No outlets that were built into the lamps worked. One lamp flickered on and off. The bed squeaked when I moved. There was a film on the floor that made it slippery. It was cheap enough so don’t expect much. Breaker was very limited. Pancakes and ordinary continental breakfast options. I didn’t try anything so I cannot comment on that. There were stains on the chair in the room so I didn’t sit on that. I did a wipe down of the remote control and all countertops before I used them. I ordered shuttle service to the airport and it wasn’t coming so I ended up taking a ride share service. There are plenty of other options in that area for hotels. Spend a little extra and go to one of them.

Don’t take the room by the elevator you won’t sleep! Thin walls too can hear your neighbors

Staff were nice. AC didn't work in my room. They could switch me to a different one the second night, but the first night was too warm for me.

Hotel has been recently updated, but our room faced the highway, which was really loud. Our 4 yo had an awful time sleeping bc of the highway noise as well as guests arriving atound 11:30pm. If we were to stay here again, we'd definitely request a room on the other side of the building.

Property is very dated and poorly maintained. Rooms were dirty, with vinyl floor that was peeling up. Mattress must have been about 20 years old, must have sunk a good 10” when I layed in it.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Bloomington (Minneapolis) from Thursday to Sunday, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The first night seemed fine, but the next day I went out to explore the city. When I returned that evening, my key wouldn’t open the door. The front desk clerk (John) thought it was a battery issue or a problem with the keycard. After several attempts, he came upstairs with me, and to my shock, there was another person inside the room I had originally checked into! My belongings had been removed and stored in bags by housekeeping because the staff had mistakenly put me in the wrong room and assumed I had checked out. The most frustrating part wasn’t just the mistake—it was the complete lack of common sense. Nobody called me, nobody asked why my belongings were still there. I felt unsafe and completely disrespected as a guest. Instead of properly fixing the situation, they even tried to charge me for additional nights when the error was entirely theirs. On top of that, the hotel itself is old and run-down. The bathrooms are outdated, the spring mattresses are worn out and sink when you lie down, and their so-called “renovation” is just superficial. Everything looks cheap and neglected.

Front desk staff was terrible. Never answered the phone so we couldn't get the shuttle from the airport. Super slow check-in even though I had done the check-in online prior, and he didn't offer up any information at all so we missed breakfast in the morning. The room was nice though: clean, quiet, good AC, and the beds were super comfortable so we at least slept well.

The employee checking in guest when we got the don’t look at are reservation or anything and then put us in the wrong room and when we got that fixed the evening guy called and explained that the day guy was his only 2nd day. The evening guy also charged my card before my family even gotten there to be checked in.

We could hear people in neighboring units, in the hallway and outside all night. The attendant who checked us in didn't seem interested in our questions and was non-communicative. There was a lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout the building.

The worker never told us we needed to reserve the shuttle and then when we asked the process they said it was full. I checked in online and had to recheck in via the property once we got there. Attendant was very hard to understand and when asked to repeat himself he became rude

1. We were allocated a room on third floor and given keys for, which was already occupied while their system showed as available. My daughter had to drag all the luggage from 3rd floor back to reception then Receptionist went back to 3rd floor with her to confirm. Showed himself surprised when he found luggage of other customer in the room. Then my daughter had to come back to reception with all the luggage when he now allocated a room on 2nd floor. She had to go to this room now which had a dirty sofa bench. Upon reporting on phone, Receptionist unapologetically said now the cleaning staff has gone, I can allocate you another room but I don’t have on the same floor, that was a lie as We could see many rooms open and Housekeeping activities were ongoing. My daughter by now, gave up. 1. room had a dirty sofa bench. 2. One of the table lamp wasn’t working. Yes, wire below was connected. 3. TV had only one channel, TNT working. Absolutely no other content. We confirmed over phone from Reception and they confirmed yes, There is only one channel. 4. Checked about Gym in the hotel and we were told that Gym is not working and then we questioned why it is showing up in the photos when we booked it Room at Expedia then he said those photos are old. 5. Though there was some paint renovation was happening on our floor but still the stale smell in the corridors at all floors was noticeable. Linen, Beds, bathroom and AC were good.

The man that works at then front desk is very rude, inconsiderate unhelpful and was always missing from the desk when we needed assistance

Confirmed case of bedbugs - called MN dept of health. Advise not staying there - management didn’t take it seriously (actually had one person hang up on me.)

There was a domestic disturbance a few rooms down from me. I called the front desk to send someone to check on the couple. The phone rang 20 times before I decided to walk down to the front desk. The phone on the desk was lighting up that people were calling but it was on silent, guests calls were being ignored.

The facility is very run down and the lobby is very dingy, dark and outdated. I was propositioned for money in the hallway outside my room. My room door could not be opened easily. The area did not feel particularly safe.

Not many dining options close without have to drive far.

I liked the hotel itself. It is clean and nice. The location just seems a bit odd and unsafe.

I liked that it was close to the MOA. Was able to get shopping done without having to worry about traffic. What i didnt like...The hotel can use a remodel. Alot of outdated equipment. Noise from traffic made it hard to get a decent sleep.

When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. After 5 minutes a slender guy came out of the elevator and I asked if someone was working the front and he mumbled something. The area felt unsafe. The room was ok, but we didn't feel comfortable sitting on the chair in the room and we slept with the lights on because we didn't want the bugs to come out. The AC unit smelled stale. Definitely a 1 to 2 star hotel.

My husband and I only stayed 1 night. Front desk Staff was friendly and courteous. The room we got was facing the highway, so it was pretty noisy, but it didn’t bother us. Just ask for a room not facing the highway. Facility was pretty clean.

It's inexpensive and near the airport with a convenient shuttle. The whole place is "smoke-free" but my room smelled of smoke and the hallway reeked with it. Place seemed clean, but when I wiped up some water on floor there was a lot of dirt that came up too. Breakfast was terribly

The staff is very friendly. The room is very clean. Beds were comfortable. However, the faucet in the sink did not work. It was broken. Had to use the bathtub to wash our face and brush her teeth. We like to take a bath, could not do that because there was no plug for the bathtub. And then there is breakfast included. Breakfast consisted of pancakes and the pancake machine didn’t work very well. Toast and English muffins. But they did not keep that full so people had to keep asking for some. There were apples. And dry cereal. So if you don’t like carbs, you don’t want breakfast here. Probably won’t stay here again. I have used this motel many times because of the convenience to the airport and the shuttle. The shuttle worked fine driver was friendly. However, no water in your room really kind of sucks. That’s probably the worst thing I could say.

The common areas were littered with trash, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the 'No Smoking' signage. Breakfast was unsatisfactory.

Limited parking with lighting. There is no breakfast as advertised. Only coffee, watered down apple juice, stale toddler size muffins and hard granola bars. Hotel smelled of marijuana and body odor. Front desk staff was no where to be found. We kept getting locked out of our room and was continuously having to go down and get new keys. Our toilet wasn’t working properly and instead of fixing it they left a plunger outside our door and ran away. We also had a patch of green mold growing above one of the beds. I guess you get what you pay for. Never again.

Pawn check in there was confrontation between staff and people staying there.... The room they was given to me was not cleaned in the bathroom.... I was told there was a continental breakfast in the morning and all they offered was juices oranges and one type of muffin.... I have stayed at many different super 8 motels usually is offered a bigger breakfast than that...
