The the common areas are clean, well lit and updated. The staff are friendly especially the front desk. The room was also clean andnupdated. The bedding looked and felt clean. I would go back to this hotel again, happily. The breakfast was better than most hotels of this same caliber. The low point was the pool. The water was murky. But, the pool is not a deal breaker for me because I was here on business. But my boys would have been disappointed.

The location is great. Close to the freeway. Close to places to eat dinner. Breakfast was excellent. Real eggs that were scrambled. Fresh made pancakes. Biscuits and gravy. Plus plenty more. If you like a nice breakfast, you cannot go wrong. The Hot Tub jets were not working. Disappointed on that. I always like to go into the hot tub a few times each night. But not this time. Not the same without jets.

Great location right off the highway. Close to food options as well as Walmart/Aldi. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hot breakfast was good including fried eggs/Bacon/ Biscuits and gravy. Also had snacks and drinks including wine and Beer available in the evening Monday thru Thursdays Complimentary to guests which was not advertised but a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again!

The elevator was out of service for construction. This wasn’t listed on the booking. It wouldn’t have been a huge deal, but according to the employee working the desk, all of the housekeepers were off due to the holiday so the only rooms available were on the third floor. Herded 3 kids under the age of 10 and 3 bags up 3 flights of stairs to the room. There was no apology, offer for reduced rate or other accommodations…I wonder what it would have been like if I needed an accessible room. Overall, the room and lobby were clean and quiet.

The room was super clean. Beds could use a refresher, they where a bit " worn in". Breakfast wasn't much to choose from but what was available was yummy. Hot tub was super hot but not running properly. The pool room definitely needs some ventilation.

Waste from last guest left on trash can. Toilet paper and tissue were almost used out. Apparently the housekeeper didn’t do her/his job well. The cleanness of the room is in doubt.

The hotel room was clean, the staff were nice but the pool was disgusting. I took a shower then took a swim I showered again and I was filthy! I own a pool; that is unacceptable. I also began to feel sick to my stomach. Children swim there, balance the chemicals and backwash for health and safety!

I noticed that there were ants in the sitting room with the couch and desk. I informed the front desk and they sent someone to spray right away. Other than that the accommodations were nice and convenient to each of the places I went to during the weekend.

Friendly staff, complimentary happy hour, large room. Clean. AC loud—like small plane engine loud. So loud and comfortable or quiet and hot all night. Pillows little squares—literally the worst pillows of any hotel I e stayed in in many years. No TV channel guide. Large fridge with freezer in room.

Overall, quiet room. I did not hear the hallway traffic or people next to us. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the hallways clear. Nice beds. Very soft pillows. The sofa bed mattress was thin and uncomfortable. TV was nice with a decent selection of channels. The suite had a TV in the bedroom and in the sitting area. The AC was okay. I had turn it down to 65 to get the room cool and dehumidified. It didn't feel like 65 in the room, but it was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. The shower had a lot of water pressure. Water could get pretty hot. Breakfast was great. They did run out of coffee each morning though. The first morning that I had their breakfast, the lady running it did NOT want to do her job. She let things run out and did not refill them. I had to ask for syrup or I wouldn't have had any. The next two days, a different lady was running breakfast. She was much better. Pool temp was perfect- not freezing! It's not very big or deep. That was okay with my family. The hot tub is very hot and in-ground. People on our floor were smoking weed. Not sure if management was aware.

Our suite was very nice, EXCEPT that the televisions were not functioning properly. Most stations were out. The desk assistant told me that she told her manager about it the night before; yet the TV's were out the entire full day of our stay. This was a disappointment. However, the room was a great value,and very nice. The pool was great and the breakfast was good. I'd definitely stay again, but I'd ask if the TVs were working.

The room was huge and even had a second room for those that needed to be up and about earlier - but didn't want to disturb the other. The staff gave supper suggestions and the local area delivered a wonderful pizza right to our door. And when we brought the leftover's down for disposal, they were happy to take it from us.

From what we could tell, our room was clean but honestly, the rooms were so dark, who could tell? We had a suite with a separate bedroom. We moved all four lamps into the bedroom so we could kinda see in it. Even after a staff member brought us a slightly brighter bulb we still did not feel like we could relax in the room. I think it had as much to do with the color scheme (which looks good, btw) which absorbs so much light. We left after the 1st night of our 2 night stay. The property overall seemed nice but we could not enjoy it. Needs can lights and lighter wall paint.

The desk staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful with questions about the area. The room was clean and very comfortable. My husband has stayed at this hotel 2 other times and has been very pleased then as well. This is where we will stay anytime we are in Springfield.

We never received any housekeeping services and we were there for 6 nights. The front desk told us they only provide housekeeping after 3 nights but they never cleaned the room. If we wanted towels we had to go to the front desk to get them. When we checked in they charged my credit card for the entire time and I told them we might check out a day early. My credit card has not been refunded for the extra night yet. I would not recommend this hotel and I question whether I will ever stay at Choice Hotels again! I have emailed the manager and have not yet received a response.

From the check in to the check out was amazing! The receptionist who checked us in and then out was amazing! She was funny and very informative. When we come back to Springfield we will definitely stay here.

I booked a hotel to spend with my daughter and 3 friends. Immediately upon checking in, the lady was incredibly rude and said “we don’t rent to locals”. I explained we had already paid for our room and that wasn’t on their website or hotels.com. I had to talk her into letting us stay but she told me she was only doing it because she didn’t want to mess with a refund. Highly do not recommend.

Checked in late after a long drive and was greeted by awesome Rose at the front desk. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable, shower pressure was great and not noisy - didn’t feel like I was waking up the whole floor by turning on the shower after 11pm. Didn't partake of the breakfast (was driving Route 66 to St Louis, so already had plans to stop at the Cozy Dog Drive In down the street) but it smelled good. I would stay here again.

Located on the far south edge of Springfield it is a clean, well kept hotel; we had a spacious and comfortable room with a decent TV. During our trip we have stayed in a number of hotels and my wife and I agree this was the best one. Be aware nothing is within walking distance and it is a 10 minute drive to downtown and to any of the A. Lincoln NPS locations.

The stay was nice. Beds were nice and comfortable. Pull out couch had one corner of bed that was either broken or part of the frame need adjusted but our child was able to sleep on it. Kids liked the pool but the water was cloudy and the pool area itself was hot. Otherwise a nice stay. Liked that they used real eggs for breskfast. Everything was fresh and hot. B&G was fresh and hot . It was nice to have the snacks and drinks from 5 to 7 in the evening.

We chose this place based on previous recent reviews. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was great and plenty to choose from. All my interactions with the staff were great as well. We will definitely consider this location for future stays.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and clean. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean. The staff was very friendly. They have a manager’s reception Monday through Thursday and offer free drinks. The breakfast had many choices including REAL eggs.
