Une nuit passée dans cet hôtel, sur le retour en fin de séjour. Hôtel qui semble s'être arrêté dans le temps, mais pas dénué de charme. Pas d'ascenseur et les escaliers sont assez labyrinthiques.Chambre assez petite et assez sombre mais très propre. Salle de bain fonctionnelle. Pas le grand luxe mais ça fait le job pour une nuit. Le bar est très joli façon pub. Nous y avons diné le soir et honnêtement c'était très bon. Petit déjeuner en libre service sucré uniquement et assez succinct, le salé est à demander et ils vous préparent une assiette. Personnel très serviable et qui fait l'effort d'essayer de parler quelques mots de Français. Appréciable. Parking tout petit et vite plein, mais grand parking gratuit la nuit à proximité.

Very nice room,we appreciated the old-fashioned welcome note, hotel information, and nearby amenities guide. The room included a jacuzzi (though we didn’t use it) and had a beautiful bed setup. However, the mattress felt quite old and shaky; it made noise whenever one partner turned. The carpet was also very dusty — I had to take a few puffs for asthma relief. The hotel has a charming old-school feel but could benefit from modern updates, such as digital options like QR codes for ordering. The Scottish breakfast was good, and there was self-parking available — it seemed unlimited, and I imagine parking wouldn’t be an issue even during peak times since there’s free parking nearby after hours. The location is convenient, close to amenities, and within walking distance to a lovely garden

The building is older and a remodel was attempted. There is no lift so be able to carry your bags. The room was hot and when the window was opened there was no screen and it opened into a road with trash bins. The beds and linens were clean and in good condition. The parking is limited. We did not try the onsite dinner or bar.

Difficuly parking had to drive around 3 times to find a space. Front of the hotel closed off for work being done had to come in a side door snd through the restaurant. Very dated hotel i sat on a leather sofa on the reception area and it was sticky to touch. Rooms were very dated. Black stuff in the bath, looked like someone had tried clean it bit not well enough . Hairdryer from the 1960's felt like it was going to blow. Had to call a dentist as we had an emergency, called the number on the hotel information book in the room. The dentist had retired 4 years ago. I woke him up.

Nice hotel just near the High Street. nice bar. We had a very large room with a large, comfortable bed. Couldn’t figure out how to start the Jacuzzi, which was a downside, and the absence if a real shower was somewhat odd these days. I do recommend the hotel as clean and orderly.

bonne étape d'une nuit pour notre groupe de 6 personnes avec 3 motos. Bon hôtel et bonne restauration. Pas de parking privé mais stationnement payant devant l'hôtel et sur trottoir gratuit pour les motos. Bien placé au centre de Fort William.

The hallways up to the bedrooms look quite tired but I got a pleasant surprise when I entered my bedroom and found it to be large, clean and nice looking. I had a really comfortable sleep the 2 nights I was there without any noise disturbance (I find it hard to sleep if there's much noise). Breakfast was good.

We couldn’t see the loch from our room due to the condensation on the windows. The window frames were thick with dirt and mould. There was also mould in the bathroom where water from the shower collected on a shelf above the bath. This was charged as a “superior room” - would hate to see the state of the other rooms. Furniture dated and battered. Heavy traffic noise kept me awake most of the night.

We had two rooms. One bathroom had mold in the shower and the floor was not vacuumed. The single beds were very small and uncomfortable. The floor in the other bathroom had leaking tiles. The positive note is that it is in a great location along the water and one street away from the fun pedestrian shopping street.

Old matrace with tired springs and the double bed was uncomfortably small. Carpet was dark but doesn't seem to be overly clean. View at the side side of the the neighbouring house, so no view.

Loved our room with view of the Loch. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Great breakfast and location perfect. The only fault was the weak pressure on the shower.

Room definitely not in as good shape as the photos suggest. Was entirely unable to get any hot water in the shower. Location right next to a decently noisy road. Also every restaurant in town was unable for walk-up dinning and required getting on a waiting list or waiting in person for a table.

This hotel was terrible. The receptionist was sittinv in a dirty pinkbpuffa coat, no eyr contact, not friendly. No lift, no offer of help with luggage so had to drag my case upstairs. On entering the room the first thing i saw was the filthy windows and could just make out the metal fire escape taking up the whole view. The room was very small, dated and felt cold and dirty. There was no way id spend a night thete. Another guest kindly took my case back down for me as i need to hold the rail with both hands to ho down. When i went to reception she just shrugged and said well youre not gettingvyour money back but i could mot stay thete it was do bad

Got a really rough welcome at check-in- simply for being one hour early- was reprimanded like a child. I almost turned around and left, from the level of rudeness. The people in the restaurant were lovely though!

Great central high st' location, 5 minute walk from railway station. Friendly and very efficient staff - problem with shower in room, reported to reception and they immediately gave another room to use without question, even though was due to check out that morning. Would stay there again.

Everything was good, but we didn’t realize there would be limited parking. Luckily we were able to secure parking in what appeared to be one of the last spots so it wasn’t an issue. Very walkable location to other restaurants and shops which was nice.

Location and price are good. The hotel looks old but the room is renovated and clean. There is a heater in the room that make the room room enough. However, the bath room was very cold. Luckily, the water is hot. The Scottish breakfast is delicious and a small cereal / drink / fruit bar is included. The staff and decoration look professional.
