Only hotel in town. No air conditioning - I received an email about a month before our visit- too late to change plans. Told to ask for a room with a window that opened. Seriously- if the hall is on fire how is done e to escape if the window is screwed shut? Our window opened 2 “ from the top only. No air circulation. The other window- screwed shut. That window had a lovely bli dvyo help keep out the heat- the other nothing- only drape which we would close and the room attendant would open- we were trying to control the heat! We had two fans. Impossible to cool down and sleep. Sat and just sweltered in that awful room. They should have provided us at least with bottles of free water. Nothing. I know it was unusually warm but the window thing was ridiculous. And it appeared people were also living there! Front bushes filled with garbage.
