Lovely clean hotel with comfortable beds, only downside, the carpark is small and difficult to park.

This hotel is old. No sense of welcome to our hotel upon check in. Sold car parking and the only spots left were for electric cars. Used to have air conditioning but wasn’t told it didn’t work until after I’d booked and paid. Had a fan which was so old and noisy you couldn’t sleep with it on and the window could barely open for fresh air. The television didn’t work. Not worth the £80. Worth about £25.

Lovely stay. Nice and clean room. Friendly staff on reception. Wasn’t able to get food when we wanted as they had a coach party in was over an hour wait so had to leave the evening meal.

We parked up in the underground carpark beneath the hotel has usual To the lift to the reception to sign in On arrival they noticed i had my arm in a sling & that i was walking awkwardly The said we can change you to an Accessible room which will be better for me They gave me the key & told me to check it out & said if your not happy we will change you back to the original room It was great and made my stay so much more pleasant All the staff are so very helpful & go out of their way to make your stay feel like a 6star stay The breakfast is 10/10 & something for everyone The hotel & rooms are spotless We will definitely keep coming back We done to all the staff 10/10

Parking was awful. The room was cold, so I rang reception to fix the thermostat - no one turned up. Never will stay again!!!

Only stayed one night. Kitchen was closed when we arrived late, but accommodated us with a really nice cold sandwich plate as well as options for take out nearby.

We stayed for 4 nights prior to attending a wedding. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.Plenty of parking both outside and underground. Would recommend Food expensive as it is only pub quality but if you utilise a Taste card the price becomes acceptable.

Dirty smelly environment

All the staff were superb. Unfortunately our room had a pretty poor smell when we arrived… The cleaning staff did all they could by opening the window and a fan was on trying to clear the room.. So nothing more they could have done. The room was spotless bathroom too..

Spacious rooms with excellent facilities, friendly staff especially at the reception, very clean throughout. BTW friendly cleaning staff too.

The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. The only trouble is the dust apparent in the room; the main areas (bed, bathroom, closet) were cleaned. However, the bedside lamp and remote had significant dust collected, so they have not been seen in a while. There was also a stain on the carpet. As this was only for a night, it was acceptable lodgings to stay. There is scaffolding near the hotel that has uneven pavement (and holes!) so comfortable shoes is advised.

We only stayed for 1 night, but can honestly say it was perfect. Beautiful rooms & gorgeous toiltries supplied. Breakfast was the best I've seen, catering for all tastes. The staff were so friendly & and couldn't do enough for everyone. It is a fabulous hotel.

Have stayed here over half a dozen times, but disappointingly, my bed had hairs and stains upon arrival on my last stay.

Super friendly, helpful, professional staff. Room was newly refurbished to a high standard, very comfortable. Two minor issues - light from the clock on the tv was overly bright (and it was set to the wrong time!) and the bathroom was very narrow which was fine for me, a petite woman but anyone wider would have to walk sideways!!

Permanent white noise all night from air conditioning or heating or whatever.

Conveniently situated a short walk away from town however, the surrounding area is very run down with very limited options to eat out. The holiday inn is very well maintained with very comfortable beds and pillows and a clean, powerful shower. Unfortunately we stayed on the hottest weekend of the year when the air conditioning was out of order. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Room had be renovated to a high standard except for the two doors needed to be painted. Bathroom was very small but shower cubicle was a good size. Comfy bed and plenty of sockets around the room Would definitely stay again

Room was very, very hot and if the window was opened it was noisy. A large fan was provided though and a warning given that AC wasn't available.

The only down side, if that is what it was, was the smallness of the bathroom! Otherwise fitted the bill an an excellent weekend!

This was a comfortable stay in a decent hotel with helpful staff. I did not eat there. Everything was fine though the litter in the front of the hotel in the bushes should be removed.

The staff at the hotel are fantastic, from check in to the end. The front of house staff deserve a medal, even with a wedding on they were very attentive to the other guests staying at the hotel. The house keeping team were very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Room was comfortable and the bathroom had everything you would need. Would definitely stay again, thank you to all the staff

Staff were excellent, very attentive & far exceeded what I expected from a city centre hotel at this level. Couldnt do enough for me - lovely chocolates in my room too! Thank you so much. A quick overnight work trip but wont hesitate to return again.

Had an issue with bed, mattress had collapsed practically un sleepable. Managed over night had a word with reception the following morning and have to say they couldn’t have been more apologetic, sorted us out with an upgraded room and a voucher to use at the bar.can’t fault the service what so ever

The staff were Brilliant, bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed... The Room was large and comfortable, but just one thing, the aircon was not working which made the night a little clammy... But we have a lovely stay

No problems with actual stay at property until this morning when fire alarm was sounded about 5.25 am. Actions following this could certainly do with tightening up. After a few minutes the fire alarm was silenced so we didn’t know if there was a fire or not! On checking told yes, not serious but smoke and needed to evacuate. Everyone gathered outside in designated area. Staff member came out approximately 5-10 minutes later (after fire brigade arrived) and proceeded to take a sort of register. No general instructions given and no attempt at organisation, she just went around the car park, easily missing people for the register. A little while later we were allowed back into the lounge to await further instructions and hot drinks were quickly made available. A short time after an update from the fire brigade we were advised breakfast was ready if we would like it. About 7.15 am we were told that apart from a couple of exceptions we were all allowed back into our rooms. When we checked out there was no mention of the incident or apology for the inconvenience! Whilst I appreciate the main thing was that no one was injured, from my perspective there was a lot that could be tightened up in fire procedures. Having managed residential care units where we have had occasion to have the fire brigade for genuine fire alarm call outs, I can honestly say my staff were much better trained and prepared.

Staff exceptional, hotel and rooms very clean and unbelievable value for money. Great service from everyone from front desk to waiters bar staff. A great experience and would recommend to anyone.

We were attending the Pink concert. On arrival there was no parking on site as barriers were in place instructing guests to register prior to parking. There were large queues for checkin, almost 1 hour. This caused huge congestion for both cars and people. Staff were very apologetic and came around the queues with complimentary prosecco which was a lovely gesture. Room was small and basic but comfortable albeit slightly chilled when we returned late evening. I was unable to get any heating on however it came on at some stage in the night. Hotel was located about a 10 minute walk from the train station where we were able to catch a shuttle bus to the stadium which was £10 return. I imagine this was a lot cheaper than a taxi as the stadium was about a 15 minute drive from the hotel. Overall a little pricey at £190 for 1 night, which didn't include breakfast.

Great location for the centre of Bolton, just not sure why you’d want to use the centre of Bolton. Only reason I was there was for Ironman UK, where it’s location to the finish line make it ideal

Convenient location close to the town center. They have a very good breakfast and the staff was friendly.

Great hotel and a lovely staff. Very clean, with nice bathrooms, and soft beds and pillows. Breakfast buffet is quite nice - big English Breakfast! Near the Bolton shopping mall, and close to city center and lots of great pubs! Cheers! :)

The evening meal was lovely. The staff are very friendly. Especially Jacob. He can't do enough for you Thank you for the Bread and Butter. We always enjoy Staying here. And.the new manager.I think he called simon Thank you for the birthday drink. Was a little disappointed with breakfait was all very dry. And it's usually really nice. And it was Only 10 o'clock.

Hotel is ok use on weekly basis but room service was awful this trip. Wrong food no drinks and then when got Correct food it was poor quality

We stayed 5 nights and I would stay here again. The staff were very friendly and helpful; we were a bit cold one night so they gave us a portable radiator the next day to keep us toasty. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and never ran out. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Parking was easy with an underground option, but also another one at the top. We ate twice in the evening at he hotel, and enjoyed both meals. The staff really made the stay for us.

I have to have a gluten free diet and staff were very knowledgeable and accomodating. They asked everyone if they have specific allergies and for me offered gluten free options they had in stock. I will definitely be returning here!

A very comfortable stay. The room was clean with everything you’d need. Very helpful staff, extremely polite. The breakfast was first rate, very hot with an excellent variety. We will definitely use this hotel again.
