We were staying near the airport for a 6am flight. The hotel was perfect for this. They had a shuttle running pretty much 24 hours so that was no problem. The hotel is very clean, modern, and comfortable.

Really great experience overall. Nice and clean rooms with easy access to the airport. Reception was nice both at checkin and checkout. Breakfast options were also great. One opportunity for improvement would be to make it more clear how you can book airport pickup at arrival as with luggages walking over is not the easiest.

The hotel reception staff was very nice and pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but the airport shuttle driver was horrible. He did not speak a word of English and did not even offer to help us with our bags. He stood there while my husband put them in the van. He cursed at a driver at the airport because he didn’t pull away from the curb to let him park. And when we arrived he looked at me like I owed him a tip. And I paid for this service from the hotel (it was only 1 Euro but I was surprised I had to pay at all.).

All the above is great for somebody who wants to be closed to airport and not interested in being downtown. They have a free shuttle, there is a train station 50 meters from hotel that takes you to Gară de Nord.

Shocking Stay – Poor Hygiene and No Accountability I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. From the moment I arrived, the state of the room was appalling. The bed was filthy, and I had to request clean sheets—not something any guest should have to chase. Once the sheets were changed, I saw how disgusting the actual quilt was and had to ask for that to be replaced too. The room clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was pet hair everywhere, and thick dust in areas that should be routinely cleaned between guests. Even after the room was “cleaned,” it still looked and felt unclean. I had to request that the room be vacuumed, and eventually asked to be moved to another room. Sadly, the second room was barely an improvement. To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint and received no response from the hotel at all—completely unacceptable customer service. On a side note, while the hotel is next to the airport, plane noise was minimal unless the windows were open, which was the only mildly positive aspect of my stay. Overall, a disappointing experience from start to finish. Avoid this hotel if you care about cleanliness, comfort, and basic customer service.

Room was fine for a night but the tub/shower combo is quite slick. It needs texture bottom or a mat. Also our room was stuffy and we had to get key from desk to unlock window as air did not work. The restaurant was nice and we enjoyed a small meal before retiring for an early transfer to the airport. The transfer was seamless.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit internationalem Standard. Großzügiges Zimmer welches super sauber war. Die Betten waren äußerst bequem und die Zimmer sehr gut schallisoliert. Vom gegenüberliegenden Flughafen bekommt man so gut wie nichts mit. Die Umgebung des Hotels kann man vergessenn. Es liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße und direkt gegenüber des Flughafens. Für eine Nacht vor Abflug oder bei Ankunft so wie für Tagungen ist es aber eine sehr gute Wahl. Das Personal war super freundlich. Ich habe mich wirklich als Gast gefühlt. Morgens wird ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet serviert und das Steak Restaurant im Hotel selbst ist auch eine Empfehlung wert.

Arrived around 1am and stayed one night only. Left feeling a bit dissapointed that i was not staying more nights :) Staff was very friendly when i checked in and super helpful the day after when i had questions regarding going to Therme, city centre and more. Breakfast was great and the room was large, clean, pretty and very comfortable. The train drives by right outside but i didn't hear it or notice once. 10-15 min walk from airport or 1 stop with train. Will definitely book again if ever go back to Bucharest.

The property and location are great. Unfortunately, we arrived quite late in the evening 3am. We had no idea where to go to get a shuttle. After asking a few people, we were told they did not know where or if there were any shuttles (I knew there was a shuttle as I had already contact Expedia regarding this) and they suggested we walk. As we started out, another gentlemen saw us and escorted us to the shuttle waiting area. He said that the shuttle comes by every 15 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, my wife was forced to make a long distance call to arrange a shuttle to come get us. This was the only issue I have with the property

I left the hotel early in the morning before the breackfast started. The breackfast was prepacked and offerred to other people but not for me. I also asked when I checked in but the lady at the front desk did not offered it to me. Also customer service can be improved.

Worst experience i ever had in an airport Hotel! I talked 3 x times to the receptionist, Alin and advised that the guests are waiting in the domestic arrival area for the Shuttle Bus. The shuttle Bus was not there. I called again and asked to provide me a phone number of the shuttle bus driver. The receptionist Alin refused to provide a contact number of the driver. I explained that the guests are 3 x old woman that barely understand English. Still he refused to help in this situation, even though the guests are waiting since more than 1 hour outside in the cold for the shuttle bus. I would never ever recommend this Viena House to anybody! And to the receptionist, SHAME ON YOU!

Excellent hotel, located minutes from airport which could easily be walked in 10-15 or a free shuttle is available. The hotel is great for short stays near the airport but is a taxi ride to town and not much around. The only thing that drops it by one star is the €17 breakfast which sticks out like a sore thumb to the rest of Bucharest’s modestly priced food.

Really handy for an early departure/ late arrival from Otopeni; they offer an airport shuttle but it’s a fairly easy 15 minute walk (but does involve stairs up and down over a bridge). Accommodation is comfortable and functional. Reception staff were pleasant and welcoming.

Perfect location, 10 minute walk from the airport, and only 15 mins by bus to Therme Bucharest Bed was comfortable, room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, I just wish more places did a vegetarian sausage of some sort. Just a recommendation very close to a train station that takes you directly to Bucharest Nord too

Very clean, huge beds, nice stuff, restaurant in the hotel. Had to call the hotel to get a shuttle from the airport. The area around seems sleepy and safe, there is a train station near by. Will stop there again.

The property is dated with no plugs or usb next to the bed so I had to unplug the light from under the nightstand to plug my phone. No room service as it says on their website and the restaurant has horrible food. My Ceasar salad with chicken tasted like fish and it was uneatable. It was clean and the stuff was nice but I would not go back.

Airport hotels need to be near the airport so are often not in the nicest area - this one is no exception. However, once inside, the hotel is very nice - the room was spacious and clean, the staff were very helpful in arranging free transport to the airport in the early morning and the restaurant was excellent.
