Really enjoyable stay with very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Only criticism is that it was difficult to get hot water in the bathroom.

The hotel was nice, but does look a little older. There was limited parking so I had to park on the road nearby, not really an issue. Nice indoor bar with terrace but a less appealing ground floor outdoor seating area. The room was fine, it was a good size, had a comfortable bed, TV, bath and shower. We used the fan provided when it got a little warm in the evening. The food was really nice with good options, cooked well and tasted good; 4 of us had evening meals and breakfast (full English), no complaints. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. Service was good. The bar staff, chef and breakfast staff were very polite and professional. Our ferry had an issue and we had to look for alternate options, the staff member (guessing it was the owner) was fantastic. She really went out of her way to assist us and managed to help us book another ferry online.

The staff were friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable about the IOW. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice. The property was clean. I would definitely stay again. Such a shame we only booked 2 nights. Great that you can take dogs too.

Very welcoming and relaxing staff friendly and eager to please. Extremely pet friendly. No lifts so people with limited mobility need to be aware although staff are happy to assist with luggage and arrangements for dining.

Ideally situated for the town and old village and close to the lift for the beach. The staff were all friendly,room clean though the shower was on the small size and im only small myself. Nice to sit out on balcony in evening to have a drink and see the sea.

Gem of a hotel! Positioned right above Shanklin Beach, wirh either a 10 minute walk (which i did everyday with my dog), or there's a lift literally a minute away, going straight down to the beach. The staff were fantaatic, really friendly, and couldnt do enough for you... sure, the hotel itself is a little dated, bur it's obviously been decorated, but coylddo with a much bigger makeover, but these thibgs cost a lot of money, and it's kept lovely and clean. My reason for booking was because they take dogs, and I was bring mine with me. I took a single room, which had its own shower room and toilet, and whilst it wasn't particularly big, it was clean, functional and had everything I needed.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. Also, hand sanitisers were placed at several points around the hotel. We only had an overnight stay, so our fairly small room was perfectly adequate - there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We might ask for a larger room if we were staying for longer. The hotel is a lovely friendly place to stay. It's very best points are its location and the - overlooking the sea, lovely walks nearby and a 1 minute walk to the lift down to the beach. I've stay at the Harrow inn a few times, each time it has been excellent, the staff are so friendly, visitors are always welcome with its location it has local and others pop in for food and day thoughout the day. Pets welcome.

Amazing hotel, ideally located with a very very clean room. We forgot breakfast was included and the offering was very good. For the price, the experience was perfect with such friendly and attentive staff! Free parking, a very short walk to the cliff lift, Shanklin Chine less than 10 minutes, the main town and station 5-10 minutes walk as well.

Lovely hotel close to the beach and shops. All the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. The hotel does evening meals as well which were good value.The rooms were a good size and very clean.

We stayed in the family room. Kids could only access the top bunk by standing on a chest of drawers (as it blocked the bottom part of ladder) so wasnt the safest. There was also a light nearby which could easily have been knocked off the wall and broken (on the way up and down the ladder). However we had a nice stay, staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Could do with an update.

Our one night stay was so nice. Beds are comfy with lovely pillows and duvets. Nice towels and well equipped with tea/ coffee making facilities. Friendly welcome and gave us early checkin. Weve been here before and would definitely come back. We had the best breakfast, cooked to order.

The staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was freshly cooked to perfection. The meals available for dinner were varied, well cooked and relatively cheap. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom and shower were too small.

Lovely hotel close to the beach and shops. All the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. The hotel does evening meals as well which were good value.The rooms were a good size and very clean.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel well situated on cliff top but very short walk to the lift that takes you down to the beach. Food is good well cooked and breakfast was excellent. Big shout out tho for how clean everything was.

Our one night stay was so nice. Beds are comfy with lovely pillows and duvets. Nice towels and well equipped with tea/ coffee making facilities. Friendly welcome and gave us early checkin. Weve been here before and would definitely come back. We had the best breakfast, cooked to order.

This was our very 1st visit to IOW, we were not disappointed at all with our choice of accommodation. Everything was well above expectations, friendliness from all the staff, great food in the bar for lunch dinner or drinks, delicious well cooked breakfast with great choice, really comfortable bed. Ideally situated for the town and old village and close to the lift for the beach. The staff were all friendly,room clean though the shower was on the small size and im only small myself. Nice to sit out on balcony in evening to have a drink and see the sea.

Gem of a hotel! Positioned right above Shanklin Beach, wirh either a 10 minute walk (which i did everyday with my dog), or there's a lift literally a minute away, going straight down to the beach. The staff were fantaatic, really friendly, and couldnt do enough for you... sure, the hotel itself is a little dated, bur it's obviously been decorated, but coylddo with a much bigger makeover, but these thibgs cost a lot of money, and it's kept lovely and clean. My reason for booking was because they take dogs, and I was bring mine with me. I took a single room, which had its own shower room and toilet, and whilst it wasn't particularly big, it was clean, functional and had everything I needed.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. Also, hand sanitisers were placed at several points around the hotel. We only had an overnight stay, so our fairly small room was perfectly adequate - there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We might ask for a larger room if we were staying for longer. The hotel is a lovely friendly place to stay. It's very best points are its location and the - overlooking the sea, lovely walks nearby and a 1 minute walk to the lift down to the beach. Also, the food at the hotel is excellent - we had a delicious, reasonably priced dinner there. We saw that there was car parking, but if you arrive by public transport, the bus station is only a 10 minute walk.

Amazing hotel, ideally located with a very very clean room. We forgot breakfast was included and the offering was very good. For the price, the experience was perfect with such friendly and attentive staff! Free parking, a very short walk to the cliff lift, Shanklin Chine less than 10 minutes, the main town and station 5-10 minutes walk as well.

The hotel was nice, but does look a little older. There was limited parking so I had to park on the road nearby, not really an issue. Nice indoor bar with terrace but a less appealing ground floor outdoor seating area. The room was fine, it was a good size, had a comfortable bed, TV, bath and shower. We used the fan provided when it got a little warm in the evening. The food was really nice with good options, cooked well and tasted good; 4 of us had evening meals and breakfast (full English), no complaints. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. Service was good. The bar staff, chef and breakfast staff were very polite and professional. Our ferry had an issue and we had to look for alternate options, the staff member (guessing it was the owner) was fantastic. She really went out of her way to assist us and managed to help us book another ferry online.

The staff were friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable about the IOW. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice. The property was clean. I would definitely stay again. Such a shame we only booked 2 nights. Great that you can take dogs too.
