Die Rezeption und der Speisesaal waren renoviert und in Topzustand. Leider sind die Zimmer renovierungsbefürftig. Die Klimaanlage war defekt, gab nach einer gewissen Zeit laute Geräusche von sich, nach Ausschalten tropfte sie. Unsere Tochter hat sich sehr auf den Pool gefreut, leider war er in den zwei Tagen in denen wir da waren geschlossen, was sehr enttäuschend war.

Fantastic spa hotel! The spa has adult only times, which is great for those who like a quiet spa. The breakfast is a must - possibly one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had including hot options, sweet and savoury options etc Our only negative was that the spa did not permit entry for guests on the day of check out (after 12 noon) - our experience in all other spa hotels has been that we normally would be able to use the spa on the day of check out, even after the check out time. I would love to see this changed or at least made clear to guests on check in.

Great Breakfast Nice clean rooms Pool side was very uncomfortable and small, between 4-6pm is only families and the require an appointment for less crowding but it seems at 4-6 everyone is there with children. Everyone is rude and unhappy in this town. The massage was amazing that is all. Not worth the money

Perfect Stay here! Book a refurbished room, it‘s soo good! Big Shower, nice included breakfast. The Spa is free each day for 2 hours, you make a reservation at the place directly next to the lobby. The Spa facilities were excellent as well!

Not a 4* experience by a long way. This was a over-busy, jam-packed, overpriced resort hotel. The spa was too busy to be relaxing, and I never got near to the crowded pool even though booked. Warning - car parking was lamemtable. They do not manage the parking at all, allowing it to block and double park and then manage the crisis that follows. If you are catching a plane, give yourself an hour or two extra. Staff came over as disinterested, I can hardly blame them, the place is a human conveyor-belt. Good shower, but housekeeping was very poor and amateurish. We got professional but slightly begrudging reception service. (Why? There might be thousands of us churning through but we all paid you good money!). A doorman and the car park men did help us well (thank you again) but that's not a replacement for proper parking management. Lobby bar has the atmosphere of a empty factory. Of their restaurants, only Sina was worth visting. Good wine, but average Romanian food (mostly we had better elsewhere). No, we will never go back - looks like there are plenty lovely independent pensions nearby in beautiful old houses. The region and mountains were fantastic!

Sinaia is a magical town and this hotel is excellent. They gave me an early check-in so I can drop my luggage. Quite. The air is refreshing. Close to the train station. Amenities like jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room are all well-kept and in good condition. They put aromatic essential oil in sauna and steam room, and the environment is calm and relaxing. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and is on the level of any 5-star hotel. Great value for money. Thoroughly enjoy my stay here!

Just one negative observation: there was no elevator / escalator from the ground / street level to the reception/lobby area, so one had to carry the luggage up one flight of stairs.

The hotel looks very nice, breakfast really, really good, staff very polite and helpful, our family room was as new, so really enjoyed our stay. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the water in the hotel pool and its nearby jacuzzi was cloudy, nowhere near clear. It wasnt inviting and we didnt spend much time in it, so that was a let down especially as after 6pm you pay 20 RON per person to go into the spa area.

The dining and conference facilities are absolutely impeccable. Staff are efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and everything is highly convenient. The drain of the bathroom sink let in some unwanted smells, the mattress was comfortable but lumpy. Overall quite pleased. Borderline worth the asking price and would certainly stay again.

Excellent stay, clean and refurbished rooms. Breakfast overly generous with an incredible variety of foods. Only downside was paid parking. Also the free bottle of wine isn’t quite free as you must eat at the restaurant to get your “free” bottle. I’d like to see this bottle in the room upon arrival. Other than that, no complaints! I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Carpet in the room was old, damaged and dirty, and so was part of the furniture. Bathroom not properly cleaned, disgusting blood stains on the walls and the bathtub curtain. Halls and amenities were pretty modern and clean. Breakfast was a rich, multi-option continental, restaurant spacious and accommodating.

Sehr freundliches, hilfbereites Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mehr als ausreichend und sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Was mir überphaupt nicht gefallen hat, war, dass die Reinigungsdamen sich lange auf dem Balkon unterhalten und geraucht haben...und das jeden Morgen...Trotzdem 4 Sterne gegeben, da die Massage im SPA-Bereich wunderbar war.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the location, ac, and the lobby. The hotel rooms themselves are outdated and could use a deep cleaning. Thank goodness for shower shoes! We stayed in the 1st floor and the noisy level was terrible. Kids running around screaming and staff taking in the hallway. If you’re here for more than a night, look elsewhere for comfort and cleanliness.

Het hotel is goed gelegen, in het centrum en op wandelafstand van het station. De bus naar het Peleş kasteel en naar de kabelbaan stopt voor de ingang van het hotel. Ik had een mooie, moderne kamer. Jammer genoeg gaf het niet zo een nette indruk. Er waren vlekken op het hoofdeinde van het bed en de matras. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitzonderlijk uitgebreid en lekker. De ontbijtzaal is ruim en mooi.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. The reception / bar / restaurant area is nice and pleasant enough. I didn't enjoy the breakfast, and I'm not normally a fussy person. We booked a suite and our room was amazing. Very old fashioned furniture, huge, lovely balcony, lots of storage. BUT, the bed was uncomfortable and noisy at the smallest of movements. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was powerful. No fan though so smelt a little musky at times. The housekeeping was hit and miss. We were there for four nights and never had our bed changed. We had fresh towels every day but the room wasn't cleaned. Sinaia is a wonderful place and I'm glad I went. If I ever went back, I'm not convinced I'd stay here again.

OLD and ugly rooms. Terrible bathroom, for any one who remember of Romanian communist past, this is for you. The bathtub (no shower) is a danger to get in and out at 60 cms height. In fairness the waiters at the restaurant for dinner were excellent.

Nice clean renovated room, however I could hear the people in the next room talking. Breakfast was one of the best I had at a 4 star hotel. SPA was nice, but it could be improved. Location was perfect.

I booked the "Standard Twin Room Without Balcony". When we checked in, we were given a room that looked quite old and not on par with what the hotel advertises -- it looked nothing like the photo they have in the listing. The carpet was stained in multiple places, the bathroom had no ventilation, old bathtub and overall "old" feeling. We were charged extra to be moved to the newly renovated side of the hotel which is in good shape and does look like advertised. That wasn't nice at all. The spa is nice, and the breakfast buffet has a variety of foods, desserts and drinks. The overall experience was good, but the bait and switch part was not.

Some of the hotel is nicely renovated and very comfortable and well done. Unfortunately, our first night we arrived late afternoon and we were in an old dated room with a possessed shower head. The next morning they were able to move us to one of the nicely renovated rooms. Breakfast is a mob scene, best to arrive early. Overall, breaksfast selection was broad.

We stayed in a refurbished room and it was lovely. Nice big shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and there were plenty of options. It does get very crowded and worth getting there early. I didn’t like that you have to go into spa to make a time to go swimming, I don’t like having to plan my day to that extent. Lastly don’t let them give you room 108A, and I’m sure the same room on the other levels, it is at the end of corridor next to cleaners room with service elevator. It literally juts into room and makes room very small. When I went down to complain they swapped it very quickly with no argument!

We liked hotel location, however the 1st night we had a view over the back /trash area. Noisy early morning + bathroom functionality/shower was bad. 2nd night we asked to be moved so we had a view of the street with a balcony. Bathroom was better as well. Over all, 2nd night was better, however the inconvenience of packing and morning to a different room was not addressed by the staff. We would have liked for them to offer asap another room when we addressed the circumstances or better yet for them to consider we came a long way from California, so they could have given us one of their new renovated rooms. So, yes it was an inconvenience from the start that was not addressed or compensate for. Unfortunately! This was our 2nd time starting at hotel Sinaia, however we may consider other options next visit to Romania. Thank you.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. The reception / bar / restaurant area is nice and pleasant enough. I didn't enjoy the breakfast, and I'm not normally a fussy person. We booked a suite and our room was amazing. Very old fashioned furniture, huge, lovely balcony, lots of storage. BUT, the bed was uncomfortable and noisy at the smallest of movements. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was powerful. No fan though so smelt a little musky at times. The housekeeping was hit and miss. We were there for four nights and never had our bed changed. We had fresh towels every day but the room wasn't cleaned. Sinaia is a wonderful place and I'm glad I went. If I ever went back, I'm not convinced I'd stay here again.

Couldn’t turn off the radiators in the room and daytime temperatures were 20 degrees Celsius or more. A tiny safe for which there was no key. We only got a key when we changed rooms.

We stayed in a refurbished room and it was lovely. Nice big shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and there were plenty of options. It does get very crowded and worth getting there early. I didn’t like that you have to go into spa to make a time to go swimming, I don’t like having to plan my day to that extent. Lastly don’t let them give you room 108A, and I’m sure the same room on the other levels, it is at the end of corridor next to cleaners room with service elevator. It literally juts into room and makes room very small. When I went down to complain they swapped it very quickly with no argument!

Not a 4* experience by a long way. This was a over-busy, jam-packed, overpriced resort hotel. The spa was too busy to be relaxing, and I never got near to the crowded pool even though booked. Warning - car parking was lamemtable. They do not manage the parking at all, allowing it to block and double park and then manage the crisis that follows. If you are catching a plane, give yourself an hour or two extra. Staff came over as disinterested, I can hardly blame them, the place is a human conveyor-belt. Good shower, but housekeeping was very poor and amateurish. We got professional but slightly begrudging reception service. (Why? There might be thousands of us churning through but we all paid you good money!). A doorman and the car park men did help us well (thank you again) but that's not a replacement for proper parking management. Lobby bar has the atmosphere of a empty factory. Of their restaurants, only Sina was worth visting. Good wine, but average Romanian food (mostly we had better elsewhere). No, we will never go back - looks like there are plenty lovely independent pensions nearby in beautiful old houses. The region and mountains were fantastic!

Wonderful relaxing ambience in this elegant hotel. Spa facilities are lovely. Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was so delicious and had such a vast selection of foods that i wished i could stay for longer to try more of the food. Tea making facilities in room much appreciated.

I liked the location of this hotel. Close to everything including Peles castle and the train station. The staff I thought was useless. The staff at the counter were not friendly nor helpful. The breakfast was average with the worst coffee I had ever had. In the room they really need to fix the toilet paper dispenser awful design. The pool you need to reserve a time. We were able to reserve a time for the next day,but it was old and needed an update. We used the pool gor maybe 20min.

We liked hotel location, however the 1st night we had a view over the back /trash area. Noisy early morning + bathroom functionality/shower was bad. 2nd night we asked to be moved so we had a view of the street with a balcony. Bathroom was better as well. Over all, 2nd night was better, however the inconvenience of packing and morning to a different room was not addressed by the staff. We would have liked for them to offer asap another room when we addressed the circumstances or better yet for them to consider we came a long way from California, so they could have given us one of their new renovated rooms. So, yes it was an inconvenience from the start that was not addressed or compensate for. Unfortunately! This was our 2nd time starting at hotel Sinaia, however we may consider other options next visit to Romania. Thank you.

Het hotel is goed gelegen, in het centrum en op wandelafstand van het station. De bus naar het Peleş kasteel en naar de kabelbaan stopt voor de ingang van het hotel. Ik had een mooie, moderne kamer. Jammer genoeg gaf het niet zo een nette indruk. Er waren vlekken op het hoofdeinde van het bed en de matras. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitzonderlijk uitgebreid en lekker. De ontbijtzaal is ruim en mooi.

The dining and conference facilities are absolutely impeccable. Staff are efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and everything is highly convenient. The drain of the bathroom sink let in some unwanted smells, the mattress was comfortable but lumpy. Overall quite pleased. Borderline worth the asking price and would certainly stay again.

Excellent stay, clean and refurbished rooms. Breakfast overly generous with an incredible variety of foods. Only downside was paid parking. Also the free bottle of wine isn’t quite free as you must eat at the restaurant to get your “free” bottle. I’d like to see this bottle in the room upon arrival. Other than that, no complaints! I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The location in Sinaia is ideal and the spa is great, but overall not quite a 4 star hotel. Rooms were small but clean - mine had a nice view. Clothes irons were available but no ironing boards (not ideal when you need to iron clothes for a wedding!). Breakfast was below average for a 4 star
