Exceptional staff, great breakfast, loved the market available 24/7, Doughboys Pizzatopia is walking distance from the hotel and is absolutely delicious. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, the pool and hot tub were both great as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is nice, well kept and clean. The complimentary breakfast was better than I expected, with hot options, waffle makers and other good items. The breakfast attendant was superb at keeping it stocked. The pool was smaller than it looked in the pictures and the fitness room left a little to be desired but we had a great stay.

We had a great stay. Staff was friendly. Pool was extremely cold and hot tub made a loud noise when the jets were on. Did not get the room that was advertised that I paid for. (Selected the room with two queen beds and the couch with extra tv) got a room with only two beds no couch. Also the advertised Paul Mitchel hair products were not what was in our room. I was a little disappointed in the smaller room and was excited to try Paul Mitchel. For $329 I figured we’d get what was advertised.

My stay was great. Super kind, very quiet. Only complaint was that the pool was freezing cold which really disappointed my 5 year old. When I told the front desk she nodded like this was something she hears a lot but no one offered to turn it up. Pool is always a really important part for us

Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. In all my travels, I’ve never had a better free hotel breakfast than this property. Only negatives were that the pool was closed for maintenance and the location is tucked between numerous apartment complexes making it difficult to find upon arrival.

There were only 2 issues I had with this Fairfield. First the pool was out of commission. It’s not the biggest problem but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. My biggest issue is that I was charged extra for parking. It would be greatly appreciated if I was told that ahead of time. Also there was plenty of space for parking so I don’t understand why there would be an additional $10 per night.

So clean! So well taken care of! Bed and pillows comfortable! Coffee and breakfast was delicious and well prepared! Friendly housekeeping staff, desk staff and management! We did not take part, but swim pool and hot tub was clean, in a separate building and very clean!!

The property was well maintained and the room was clean. My only grip is their was hair in the bathtub. Come to find out, the bathtub and bathroom sink drained terribly slow. So while taking a shower you end up standing in a inch of dirty water. Same thing with the sink. The front desk was made aware. They said the handyman would be up first thing the next morning but he never showed up.

The carpets were worn and visibly dirty in the lobby, hallways and elevator. The shower had dark moldy spots in the caulking. The air conditioner was loud and made an odd knocking noise when coming on. The staff were friendly. The location was very convenient for attending Indy Car races. It just needs some repairs and deep cleaning.

The tap in the bathroom dripped all night, the remote for the TV was broken and there was someone else’s hair in the shower when I arrived. They also didn’t have cream cheese for the bagels which is weird but not a deal breaker.

All was great except I think we had the one room on the first floor that is next to the kitchen or something. Loud banging noises starting at 5:30 am. Don’t get room 112 unless you are an early riser.

The customer service was excellent! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however our room was facing the freeway and it was like we were outside! It was terribly loud. It was hard to sleep. We will stay there again just not on the freeway side.

The mattress in our room is overly soft compared to the hotels we have stayed. Despite The noise insulation, there is a low frequency hum noise from the road traffic of the nearby I-5, which doesn’t bother me that much, but others might find it annoying.

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the dining area was kept clean. We were in room 314 which had road noise during the night. The bed was comfortable which is a priority for us when staying in a hotel. The main problem was the road noise.

4 trips to the office because the room keys didn’t work. They reissued new keys and still they didn’t work. Our 4th trip down they decided they would just have a staff employee let us in. It only took them 15 minutes to get to our room that we had been locked out of for 10 additional minutes 😒

This is a beautiful hotel, clean, spacious, and friendly. We have stayed here 2 years in a row and it has become our favorite. The staff is incredible, patient, gracious, helpful, accommodating. A shoutout to Jasmine who checked us in, the gal who handles the breakfast is a saint and the man who manages the pool became our hero when he offered to add a little extra warm water for our young grandchildren.

I’ve stayed here in the past and loved it. This time I was charged for parking but was not informed of that at check in. I didn’t know until I checked my credit card and noted that there was a $40 charge. Called the hotel and they informed me of such. They did feel bad and gave me Marriott points for the inconvenience. But still communication is key. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was just ok. I’ll still stay there in future trips.

Due to my own error, I had booked the wrong date through a third party. Jasmine at the front desk was kind and professional. She worked with my third party on the phone to straighten out my mistake. She went out of her way to convey that she was not bothered in the least by helping me. She greeted us every single time we passed the front desk. I would frankly stay anywhere if she were at the front desk. You can rest assured that you will treated like a valued customer at this property.

We had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn! Primarily chose this hotel due to the location being extremely close to the expo center, but will definitely be book marking it for future stays because I am so pleased with this stay :). While locating the path to take to the expo center was not easy to find at first (could be better marked with a reflector or something),we did eventually find it and it was a very easy quick walk from there. That is my only suggestion, which really isnt the hotel’s fault at all. Aside from that- check in time was earlier than expected, all of the front desk agents were extremely kind and friendly, the room was very clean, parking was outstanding (we were able to have both of our cars in the lot), and we were able to do a late check out at no extra charge. We didn’t get to check out the breakfast but that was included with the room rate- which is one of the best rates Ive ever had in Portland. Extra brownie points for that. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I’d go here!

The staff is friendly and the free breakfast is pretty good. Only issue might be location that it is near a fairly busy road within a dense apartment area. Oddly enough there are limited eateries within this complex. There are many resturants that are one exit north of complex but not walking distance. The closet MAX park and ride is fairly close but does not feel safe. There is a homeless encampment in the parking lot and feels very unsafe. Area near Portland downtown has a homeless issue and feels generally less safe. Usually I prefer using public transit when I go on vacation but was not able to from this location.

We enjoyed our stay. After working 10 hours, we were tired and went straight to the hot tub. The place was clean and friendly. Their breakfast was different than others with much more options. Yes, they had the waffles, biscuits and gravy, and cereal. They also had crustless quiche and sausage egg muffins. We will definitely stay there again.
