Check in was smooth and easy. Our room was clean and everything works. A/C was cold. Only down side was 1 or 2 dryers didnt work. And there is nothing really here. kfc is next door and a coffee shop across the street. Pool was clean. Will definitely recommend to people. And come back.

Standard hotel small and plain. Website stated pool would be open through September and it was closed. Pet friendly, but had no place to walk your pet. Also wasnt aware of a pet fee till i got there.

This motel was great especially for the price. It is a convenient drive to Louisville or even closer for shopping and dining. There is a coffee shop across the parking lot but they don't have breakfast, just pastries and coffee just in case you are looking to dine. Hotel breakfast is very minimal with a few pastries, juice and waffle maker. The only complaint was the pool was closed for 2 weeks which was one of the main reasons we booked here in early September when it was 92 degrees all weekend. This place deserves a few good reviews! They are very clean and quaint. Overall, the room was very clean and that is most important

Couldn't use the pool due to alge/broken tiles. NOT enough elect plug in's in room (145) + NO clothes hangers/coffee in the room. Difficult to sleep at nite. To eliminate getting up in total darkness to go to the bathroom we'd leave the door cracked a BIG mistake. Lite from bathroom would hit the wall mounted mirrow -- go directly into you face forcing you to sleep with head under covers. Other than that, enjoyable stay

Super sweet folks at the front desk, huge parking lot, I do wish the pool had been open but to be exceedingly fair we did get the aftermaths of a hurricane during our stay so I wasnt super surprised that it was closed.

I have stayed here a few times and this time wasn’t like the past. It was really hot in the room took forever for the air conditioning to cool the room off the garbage cans had trash in them still had bugs on the floor, but like I said I have stayed here before and never had it like this before, they just had a bad day when they clean this room

We were only able to stay for 10 minutes as the conditions of the room were atrocious. There were bugs on the counter in the bedroom, bugs on the bed, the smell was awful and there was an open access panel in the bathroom exposing lots of hazardous dust for myself and my dog. When asked about a refund, the front desk said because I booked through a third party they would need to speak to their manager about a refund. When we wrote a note regarding the experience we said we were going to call back at a certain time the following day. When that happened, the front desk argued and said they would “look at the room” before approving a refund. We refused, had words and they said we should expect a refund within 3 business days. Although the first person I dealt with was lovely, it seemed they were very defensive and argumentative when a refund was requested

As soon we walked in the carpets were soaked and stayed wet our whole stay ( hopefully from being shampooed?), the bedding was still damp from being washed, there was a hole in the ceiling, the mattress was stained, the blow dryer was dirty and didn’t work, the lobby toilet was clogged when I checked in, and the towels were stained.

Check in was fine, got to our room and the couch was filthy. Dried bodily fluids and blood on bed linen as well as cigarette burns. Latch lock was broke off door. Booked a room for 4 people and staff refused to give us enough towels for all of us. Told is to wait til the housekeeping came through. Then they tried to charge me an extra $500 cause they found out we were staying there for the music festival in Kentucky. We were told rates are higher for people staying in their hotel for that reason. I contacted Expedia who I booked through and was told that is illegal and hotel is now being investigated. Another room had a broken window with a cardboard box covering the window. Just overall felt unsafe In the hotel.

This was a very clean room. The lobby area was nice and bright, very clean and had plants. We forgot a bag and I called the day we left it. They held it til we returned 6 days later.

Room was clean. Looked like recently remodeled. The curtains did not hang right and thus let sunlight in room. I did not use hair drier due to wire on end of cord was taped and plug looked less than safe. No drinks on site. All coke machines empty. Breakfast was not much.

Air was not on and the room was over 90 degrees when we arrived at 11pm. By the time we got it cooled enough to enjoy we were asleep and then very cold. Room for 4 people with towels for 3. I also reserved a room with two double beds and a couch but received a room with only two double beds. Required one to sleep on the floor. Staff never offered to get extra supplies (luckily we had brought our own). Breakfast was cereal, prepackaged muffins, and waffle maker.

The accommodations were adequate and a good bargain for the price. Lobby was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. We had concerns with noise due to the close proximity of the interstate but it wasn't bad at all. Room temp control was good. The fridge was nice and cold. The bathroom left a little to be desired, although clean, it was outdated and looked like it had a used door on it, it was in need of paint. First time I saw a "Smart" Vanity mirror that had a touch pad to control HUE. We had sufficient hot water for two people. The Bed was a little too firm for my liking. The TV was nice although response time on it was poor. Continental breakfast was a little disappointing. The coffee was good but the OJ was empty. They do have a waffle maker but I did not take advantage of that. They had Hostess Danish and 3 varieties of cold cereal and that was about it but it held us over until we got to a Dennys a few exits away. Walls are not the greatest as far as sound deadening, we had some noisy neighbors but they settled down in time for everyone to get sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

The first room that we were given smelled terrible, was dirty, very noisy, the door leaked air from outside, walking around the property the support posts holding up the roof overhang were severely rotted out. There was junk, old broke down cars , etc all around the building, looked like a slum.

Room we were assigned was close to parking. So that was convenient. Price was reasonable. But some items that could be improved: Provide guide for TV channels. Bathroom could be updated. Repair ice machine. Fix locks on front door. More handicap parking spots.

Had a technical difficulty in that the TV remote didn't work for the first 2 days but they fixed it for the final night. It's quite near a major road so if you're in the back the road noise is almost impossible to drown out. Other than that the place itself was clean and comfortable

From a misunderstanding at the front desk we were overcharged. There was never an apology for the issue and the receptionist was not too friendly about it. Moreover, the charge on the credit card was double charged, so after an initial $10 overcharge they ended up overcharging $10 for a total $20 overcharge. Expedia agent helped to rectify but they could not reverse charge so they gave me $20 cash refund.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel! Rude customer service. Not enough toiletries in room. Grounds are terrible. And worst of all the owner, a bald older fellow, is rude beyond belief. I’d advise everyone to stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Juice are from couple days ago. No proper breakfast items. Above all, the owner was yelling at his staff in front of me. Owner has no respect for neither the guests nor the staffs.

I paid in advance for 5 days . I stayed one . I requested a refund for at least two of the days as I understand it requires a 24 hour notice . Both Expedia and the hotel gave me the same answer that it was the other one’s choice to refund me . I won’t be using travel lodge or Expedia in the future

Check in was fine, got to our room and the couch was filthy. Dried bodily fluids and blood on bed linen as well as cigarette burns. Latch lock was broke off door. Booked a room for 4 people and staff refused to give us enough towels for all of us. Told is to wait til the housekeeping came through. Then they tried to charge me an extra $500 cause they found out we were staying there for the music festival in Kentucky. We were told rates are higher for people staying in their hotel for that reason. I contacted Expedia who I booked through and was told that is illegal and hotel is now being investigated. Another room had a broken window with a cardboard box covering the window. Just overall felt unsafe In the hotel.

I flew in early and the man at the desk let me check in early, then I added another night and he was very understanding! Breakfast WASNT much but it did what it needed too. It was mostly quiet and I didn’t have really any problems. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was decent. But staying here a week for a music festival was the best option and I loved it.

This motel was great especially for the price. It is a convenient drive to Louisville or even closer for shopping and dining. There is a coffee shop across the parking lot but they don't have breakfast, just pastries and coffee just in case you are looking to dine. Hotel breakfast is very minimal with a few pastries, juice and waffle maker. The only complaint was the pool was closed for 2 weeks which was one of the main reasons we booked here in early September when it was 92 degrees all weekend. This place deserves a few good reviews! They are very clean and quaint. Overall, the room was very clean and that is most important

Be sure to call First if you are arriving early, Otherwise, you will be charged for early arrival. Fortunately, I called ahead of time. The hotel was clean and quiet, not upgraded, but adequate. I think there are a couple of coffee houses nearby, but not much more as far as amenities go. The breakfast only consists of waffles and cereal and coffee. There might be some fruit, that's about it. The staff was friendly and polite enough, and the bed was comfortable. The room was affordable, so it was enough for one or two nights.

The accommodations were adequate and a good bargain for the price. Lobby was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. We had concerns with noise due to the close proximity of the interstate but it wasn't bad at all. Room temp control was good. The fridge was nice and cold. The bathroom left a little to be desired, although clean, it was outdated and looked like it had a used door on it, it was in need of paint. First time I saw a "Smart" Vanity mirror that had a touch pad to control HUE. We had sufficient hot water for two people. The Bed was a little too firm for my liking. The TV was nice although response time on it was poor. Continental breakfast was a little disappointing. The coffee was good but the OJ was empty. They do have a waffle maker but I did not take advantage of that. They had Hostess Danish and 3 varieties of cold cereal and that was about it but it held us over until we got to a Dennys a few exits away. Walls are not the greatest as far as sound deadening, we had some noisy neighbors but they settled down in time for everyone to get sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a technical difficulty in that the TV remote didn't work for the first 2 days but they fixed it for the final night. It's quite near a major road so if you're in the back the road noise is almost impossible to drown out. Other than that the place itself was clean and comfortable

I’ll say that the room was clean & bed was comfy. Glad I only had to sleep there. Hotel was noisy, next to interstate. Tv didn’t work. Coffee maker with no coffee. Breakfast was bad. Broken juice & coffee machines. I guess I got what I paid for.

Room was clean. Looked like recently remodeled. The curtains did not hang right and thus let sunlight in room. I did not use hair drier due to wire on end of cord was taped and plug looked less than safe. No drinks on site. All coke machines empty. Breakfast was not much.

This hotel is very old, walls are paper thin, someone standing out front might as well be in your room. When we went to get something to eat at 7:30am there was no food left. Only coffee. I would avoid this place

The battery in the smoke detector needed changed. It was beeping every five minutes. The breakfast was the worst. No juice, no decaf coffee, no muffins. The waffle mix was too watered down to make waffles. So there really was nothing eatable for breakfast.

Staff did their best to make a terrible room situation (no A/C, toilet water feed turn off, and missing smoke detector) better by moving us to a different room. Nee room was better but still sib par. Met some law enforecement officers at a nearby coffee shop in the morning who said "that hotel should not have so many cars in the parking lot, its a total sh!t hole"

The rooms looked nice online, but it was just a very basic room that had been given a sort of cheap facelift. The bathroom had mold in the shower. The air conditioner didn't work properly. The pool was not open and we had planned on using it. We would have booked elsewhere had we known. The breakfast was very sparse, but included. Would I stay again? No.
