We were really impressed by the rooms especially the bed and pillows - very comfortable. We slept well every night. Having the extra living room and kitchen area was an extra bonus. The only downside was the bar facility was not open - may have been because we visited off season.

The hotel is really nice and well taken care of. The staff is great too. Our only complaint was that the breakfast was not great. On Saturday they kept running out of food and plates. Sometimes the hot items were not hot. With that said, the breakfast has a wide variety to chose from. Loved the pool and hot tub. Every area is clean and well stocked.

It’s a lovely place! Very good breakfasts, quiet, excellent bed and bedding, a nice pool, friendly customer service. I had to extend my stay, no problem. Shuttle to the airport as well!

The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff were super friendly. My only complaint was we booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub which ended up being out of order right up until the night before we left so we did not get to use them.

We have always enjoyed our stays at the GMS over the years but it’s been a while since our last visit. We were pleased to see not only did they uphold their 5 star service but they had added a few new features since last time and we hear there are a few new and exciting changes coming. This time we stayed on the South side which we liked. We took a little time in the pool and hot tub area. The one thing that I noted was the hot tub was not really hot it was warm which is not the usual but enjoyable anyway. The breakfast selection is excellent with a menu to satisfy all tastes. It can be difficult to find a place to sit on busy days but folks come and go during the breakfast hours and the food is replenished regularly. The staff is wonderful. GMS is the perfect choice for a stay in the Burlington Vt. area. Hope to be back soon. Thank you !

The lobby was very welcoming, well cared for and clean. All of the staff was super friendly, breakfast was good and the hotel shuttle was an excellent perk. I like the seating area that was available outside and if it wasnt raining i would have enjoyed my coffee on the patio this norning. A lovely stay after my flught was unexpectedly cancelled.

Overall the hotel was ok. There was a weird “boiled cabbage” smell everywhere- in the rooms, in the hallway, in the lobby. Really unpleasant. We had to buy a plug in for the room to tolerate staying there. Real shame as it let the hotel down. Quite far from the centre too.

Well for starters my recipient says 928 an change and my credit card got charged 958 in change, there was dirty dishes in the microwave greased spatter on the stove and counter and utensil.

The room was comfortable and the staff was accommodating. It is a nice breakfast, but it can be a bit crowded and the food often runs out although they do replenish it pretty quickly. But it leads to the cruise ship mentality where everybody’s waiting for the food to come out, and then they jump on it.A lot of the rooms are on a fairly busy road. You can’t really open your window due to the noise. just be aware that this is a place where people can bring their animals and there were a lot of animals in that building. Really made me wonder about the cleanliness of the room and you could hear barking dogs in the morning. I don’t think I would get a room here again given that sleeping in a room that had a dog at it. It’s a little bit disconcerting given fleas, ticks, etc. And people even brought their dogs to breakfast.

Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Staff is friendly and professional. Lobby is inviting. Very clean and comfortable room. Kitchenette had the right amount of supplies. Everything was clean and organized. Clean little gym and pool area. Breakfast was great. Ample parking. Easy and short drives to the airport, shopping and downtown. Will happily return.

We had to move to a different room 3 times first one smelled awful second room the bed/couch the kids were going to sleep on was covered in nasty stains. All they did was give us 2 double bed and take 30 dollars off the room should have be free. I’ve severed moved that many time in a hotel

Room was a suite and was very clean and comfortable. Had a two burner in-counter hot plate, dishwasher, and full size apartment fridge. Breakfast was 7-10 a.m. with a variety of breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, oatmeal, cereals, bagels, etc.) The lobby was warm and inviting with a fireplace and comfortable seating. The lobby also had a Coffee Station that always had coffee and hot water available. Staff was super friendly and willing to help with anything. There was a General Store in the lobby with various drinks (water, sports drinks, etc.) and snacks (Ben & Jerry's, candy, chips, etc.) that could be purchased or charged to the room. There was also an indoor pool, hot tub, and small fitness center with treadmills. Overall, an excellent stay.

First their policy of not making up your room each day. While I do understand not changing sheets etc it would be nice at such an expensive hotel ti have them make the bed and tidy up each day Secondly there was no internet TV and very spotty internet in general. Definitely not worth the $$

Loved the room size, the property, amenities and the welcoming service by all the staff. Great location to downtown Burlington, with convenient car ride services available for transport. The only negative, was the noise that can come through the doors meant to be used for adjoining rooms. If you are a light sleeper or just not inclined to hearing conversations of the guests next door, recommend bringing a white noise machine or phone APP to help block it out.

Close to shopping and all amenities. When we got here at 4:35 ( check in was at 3) Our room was not ready. Then after 5 they gave us a room that was not what I reserved. Then we had to wait again for another room- which was very nice and even an upgrade( with fireplace) finally in our room started preparing dinner when I noticed the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes!! And the bathroom floor had large fuzz balls on it so I’m thinking someone didn’t clean the whole suite. I notified front desk. Anyway the pool was great and I’d definitely stay here again! We’ve stayed here several times and never had a problem.

The staff was very friendly and made an effort to greet guests in every part of the hotel, not just at the hotel desk. This included cleaning staff and created a very friendly atmosphere I have never experienced at a hotel before. The rooms were great and the common areas relaxing and well taken care of.

They do weird billing. Initially bill full amount. Then add extra charges. You get over charged for the stay Messing up what’s available on your credit card. They fix it when you’re leaving. But it still makes no sense the way they do it.

The room was nice, the pool area was clean and had good hours. The breakfast was great! Good variation, fresh food came out fast - well done! Only problem was twice we had to call down for assistance once for a blanket for the pull out, and once for tp, and the response was unreasonably slow. Both times I had to call back and for the blanket the front desk guy said " well it's only been about a half an hour" meaning about 45 minutes. To run a blanket upstairs? We were going to bed and had to wait for it. That experience took away from the whole stay.

The place was okay. We went after a holiday weekend, so the staff was tired and cranky. Smiles from the employees were few and far between, but snarky responses were prevalent. Breakfast was crowded, and basic. I would have appreciated more fruit, and the layout was awkward. Rooms were clean - we upgraded to the 1 BR with fireplace room, which had a nice kitchenette, but the couch in the living room was extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom was basic (think magnetized shower curtain). Bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet. The shopping mall was close by. Gas fireplace in the lobby was nice, but there was too much furniture in the room making it difficult to sit comfortably.

A beautiful property-extremely clean and well maintained; great rooms; the breakfast is one of the best we have seen, and the staff was terrific. In particular I need to point out the gentleman who checked us in and seemed to be at the desk most of the times we walked by-His name is Michael and He was helpful, polite, humorous, and made us all feel very comfortable (not to denigrate anyone else on the staff-they were all great). A great stay and we will be back.

Excellent, great value for money. The hotel and rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly.lots of breakfast choices. The only negative I can think of is the location next to a busy road. We therefore upgraded to a room with garden view and had a lovely stay.

I picked this property by the reviews and description on their website but was incredibly disappointed in the reality. Fireside Breakfast and Reception were terrible. The food was worse than a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton. The reception had one food item and no utensils (chicken tacos). When several folks in line asked for a fork, it was given with attitude. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment from what the website stated. It was gross scrambled eggs and there were only 2 pieces of bacon when we arrived at 8. Hash browns were frozen patties and then some bread items. Please, go read the website description and know that this breakfast is nothing like that. For the price, I would’ve stayed somewhere else and won’t stay here again. The hotel itself was nice and our room was comfortable but other hotels offer the same at lower prices.

Overall a great choice for a hotel near Burlington. Very clean. Large, well equipped suites compared to a typical hotel. The only real disappointment was the breakfast. They advertise lots of items that sound great but the plain American cheese omelette and sausage links and hash brown appeared to be of the frozen Sysco sort and the omelette was the only option for eggs besides hard boiled. The yogurt bar featured only high sugar yogurt with some sad looking fruit salad and it was just not the breakfast we expected for the non chain hotel we chose because of the breakfast advertised.

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying in a suite at Green Mountain. We loved the breakfast! Every morning they had different food choices. There was also a happy hour (I think it is weekdays only) and they served wine, beer and one type of appetizers (like wontons). The hotel has a nice outside patio and we had breakfast and happy hour there. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an excellent early-winter stay at Green Mountain Suites. The front desk staff were warm and informative. The amenities (an indoor hot tub and warm pool while it's below freezing outside is a special luxury!) were great. The breakfast was good but the coffee could use some attention (watery, weak, and very bitter). And the room felt like a cozy apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. All in all: exceptional!
